First time coming here. It wasn't too bad compared to other barber shops I've gone to in my area. They had 6 barbers available. I had Tom cut my hair which he did well. I requested a high and tight fade. Prices for Fades are $20.00, regular haircut $17.00, $14.00 for military/senior. I would suggest going here if you want a decent haircut. For a Saturday I thought it would be busier. The only thing I didn't like was the air they used to brush the loose hair off me. The barber ended up blowing the loose hair into my shirt. After I left I could feel it inside moving around. Again I suggest checking out this place. It could be worth your time. I'm still going to look for cheaper places. read more

I had been skeptical of barber shops because every time my husband has gone the result was always an uneven mess. This is NOT the case here. My dad has been coming to see Phong for awhile and always does a great job. He is ex-military so if he approves, you know its good. I decided to take my son here for his first cut. I am so glad I did! Phong was so patient with him and knew exactly what we wanted for our little guy. He even saved me a lock and gave us a first haircut certificate. It was time for a MUCH NEEDED haircut for ME and my boys! My husband asked me to take them to his barber shop, but the boys asked to come here instead (one said because it was close, the other said because they have candy). I love that they're open on SUNDAY!! I mean black barber shops are NEVER open 7 days a week! THIS IS GREAT!! Plus my kids and a I are all bi-racial and have straight-anybody-should-be-able-to-cut-it kinda hair. We lucked up and got PHONG! He was quick and did a great job on the boys. Then I asked if he could clean up my fade a little and he said SURE! Well little did I know he was kidding and thought that I was too. I sat in the chair and he looked puzzled and confessed that he had never cut hair on a woman before. I pointed to a guy sitting two chairs down and said, "See that man...his hair cut is just like MINE, except mine is slightly longer...just clean up the neck and line me up...I trust you...you'll be fine." With a deep breath, he draped me and began to cut. A few moments later I was walking out with a clean neckline, $24 less in my pocket and happy kids with candy - ON A SUNDAY! No frills, excellent cuts. I love this place. They know that they get busy and have enough staff to get through all their customers quickly, but without losing quality. As of February 2020, mens and boys haircuts are $12. While it's gone up a few dollars over the last few years, you still can't beat it. Even with a wait, it goes by pretty fast. Then when in the chair, it's a quick process. The service is friendly, I think it's cash only, and solid atmosphere. You pay for what you get. After seeing a bunch of five star reviews against a few one star, I assumed the bad reviews were just farces as the pictures on their Yelp/Google looked great. There were multiple barbers sitting but I was thrown in with the older Asian lady. At first I wasn't sure if she was understanding what I wanted or not but I should have trusted my gut. I'm growing a mullet and told her not touch the back and pointed out for her where and she EVEN re-pointed at the spot I showed her. She ended up cutting the sides and now I have a fucking fohawk. It took me half a fucking year to grow. Not only that my beard line up is uneven (if you can tell by the pictures one side is below the lip and one side is above) and the blend she did into my skin was shoddy as shit. I could do a better job closing my eyes. Think I'm just going to shave, at least I can regrow a beard in less than a month. The only decent thing was the fade so at least I won't be pissed when looking at the upper half of my head. I don't know why I even bothered paying. Honestly I don't think she was even able to communicate the price I just gave her whatever. I think she said 22, assuming the beard trim (which was a fucking clipper) was 5 + 2 for the lineup, base 15. read more

It's a barber shop. And it's what I want my boys to experience. Lots of sports paraphernalia but not overly done. You have TVs on the opposite side of the mirror. But what stands out are the law enforcement badges on the wall. This place has been here awhile and seeing these badges will make you feel this isn't just any barber shop. It's a little messy and dusty here and there, but nothing you can't quickly get over. THE PEOPLE// The main dude here is Phong and his station is in the middle. I took my toddlers here and he handled both of them. They sat there quietly and Phong just went to work. He's got lots of experience with kids of all ages, but I was really impressed how comfortable he was with my boys. Phong is such a friendly dude and very hospitable. I met him only once, but seems like I've know him for years. THE CUTS// Clean. Clean. Clean. He cut my toddler's hair so clean, I converted and got a haircut myself. And for sure I'll be coming back!
