Been serving the area the longest I can remember. I have been their regular until I moved out of state in 2013. Finally had a change to stop by again in 2026. Phong still remember me from the old days when I came with my son to get ourselves a hair cut. Things remain the same: clean shop, fast service (never a long wait), Phong and team always deliver the right hair cuts, and the price no one can beat. Phong even responded to request through Yelp immediately. Highly recommend and a solid 5 stars. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my son's experience here! I was bummed cause I completely forgot to get the mans name who cut my son's hair but he was super friendly and did a great job! I love how clean this place is. Cool decorations too, got a lot of patches and sports stuff. The other employees are super nice too. They have a good amount of people when we went. Barely any wait which is great especially on a Sunday. Will definitely be back! $25 cut for my boy and it's cash only so heads up! Def come check this place out! read more

A no-frills barbershop that accepts only cash and offers affordable prices. They do not take appointments, relying entirely on walk-in clients. The barbershop features a unique collection of police and other governmental badges displayed on the wall. As a first-timer, I had my haircut done by Lynne. Without knowing much and with little direction, I asked for a simple fade and a trim at the front. In about ten minutes, I was out of the chair. She even styled my hair with gel, which I appreciated. Although it wasn't the finest work on my hair, I thought she did a pleasant job considering the quick, easy-in, easy-out experience. read more

Been coming here for many years now. They're quick, experienced, and priced fairly! Came here to get my son's hair cut before his class trip, even with a line of folk when we walked in it didn't take long at all, and the final product is always good. The vibe is chill, a legit Barber shop. Not dolled up, just people getting a quick cut at a good price. :) read more

Been coming here for quite some time now and am always happy with the services given here. I usually show up to have my beard trimmed and lined up for the low price of 5$ ! Not bad, huh? I always go with Kim. She is so cool and I love the way she takes her time with my beard and always leaves it the way I like it. She is very detail oriented which is different from some of the other barbers I've been to. What I love about this place is also the fact that they are very friendly whenever I come in and even though some days the place looks full, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be taken care of :) read more

Came here as my barber of SEVERAL years wasn't available and needed a last minute cut for an interview and weekend trip. (I wear hats all the time so didn't realize my hair got out of hand haha). I was sat right away with Ashley. My haircut is pretty basic. Pretty much all clippers with a mid fade. She did a great job and my hair looks like I went to my regular barber which is double the price you pay here. She is pleasant to talk to as well. I'll be back at this price. Kinda feel bad for my old barber. Oh well. Thanks Yelp! Thanks Ashley! Cash only. read more

Will keep coming back to Phong! Always reliable with a great cut thank you phong!Writing a 5 star after phong came to the rescue. Thank you Phong! He offered to fix my hair after a bad a haircut, very understanding and now it looks amazing. I really appreciate his service. He was very quick to offer and ready to go after he read my 1 star review: Terrible. I hate to write bad reviews. I wanted a haircut before school and asked for a simple 8 on the top and taper. My taper is disconnected and pushed up, looks like a half mullet. The back is uneven with a bad slope down on one side. My cape was down for 90% of the haircut and I am sad I paid for that haircut. I watched at least 8 other clients after me walk out before he finished the one side that still looks awful. The barber was the first one on the right with a mask. I am sorry to write a bad review but this is horrendous. read more

This place is the Sam's cut special There's an older gentleman with glasses for seeing that cannot do a good fade at least even evenly on both sides... I have been here a handful of times every time you're basically not guaranteed the same person! Best way to put it. They have raised the prices to $25 so now you're not even really getting what you pay for it. It's just way worse. I used to be OK with the $20 haircut. OK it's not perfect. But now it's the fact that you can't get the same person every single time you go in for the most part. And they just don't do a good job. It's a Basic haircut that's it not a barber shop more of a Sam's cut. If you don't care how it's gonna look and you just need one, then go for it... The messed up part is they can do one side good but not the other like I don't understand! Like one side is totally acceptable!!! Also sidenote they decided to totally do nothing about it and basically said I'd find another barbershop then... by the way I'm making this review after I went back to them for them to fix it and this is what they left me with. I stated please make sure you look at the side that is good before you fix the other side and he decided not to was being cocky. And now they're both totally different again like I went in with and they are choosing to just say Stewart find another barbershop I also made sure I got my money back just so you know I tipped five dollars it was $25 so a total of 30 read more

Was looking for a shop that takes walk-ins to get a cut before the week started. First I'll say that I was welcomed in by multiple people. Staff was friendly and attentive to everyone walked in which is nice especially with how busy they all were. The shop has 7 or 8 barbers, wait times aren't long like a lot of places. They have a padded bench that runs the length of the shop so plenty of room to sit. They have a few TVs as well where they had the playoff games getting ready to start. I got my hair cut by Kim who did a great job, asked what I needed done and executed it efficiently. Overall dope spot, would highly recommend to anyone in the surrounding area looking for a place to get your hair cut. read more

I can't remember our barber's name (I want to say Danny), but everyone is so nice and welcoming here. We brought our son who has special needs, and they were really accommodating. Our barber did a good job and even suggested we hold our phone with our son's favorite video to distract him as he worked with the clippers. The ambience is great. There's a long cushy bench to sit and wait and the walls are full of police and fire patches that are interesting to read. read more

I had gotten my hair cut last week somewhere else for a trip and when I got home I realized my beard was uneven in multiple spots along with the subpar haircut I received. With very little time to spare, I reached out to The Barber Pole via Yelp and immediately got a friendly reply inviting me to walk in. When I walked in I was immediately seated at a chair and explained my situation. The barber listened to what I needed fixed and provided some helpful suggestions on how we could achieve the look I wanted. She worked quickly and precisely, checking in every now and then to make sure she was executing what I was hoping to get. The end result was a great quality haircut that completely fixed the issues I had. The price was extremely reasonable, the environment was awesome and laid back, and overall I had an incredible first experience. I think I found my new go-to spot and will definitely be back when I need another hair cut read more

5 Stars - Exceptional Service from Arron! I can't recommend Aaron enough! From the moment I walked into the shop, he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel completely at ease. His kindness and professionalism set the tone for an incredible experience. What truly sets Aaron apart is his attention to detail. He takes his time to ensure every cut is precise, every fade is seamless, and every style is exactly what you envisioned. He listens carefully to what you want and offers expert advice to make sure you leave looking and feeling your best. Beyond his skill, Aaron genuinely cares about his clients. He's personable, patient, and goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire process. It's rare to find a barber who combines talent, professionalism, and such a friendly demeanor, but Aaron does it effortlessly. If you're looking for a top-notch barber who takes pride in his work, look no further. Aaron is the best in the business! I'll definitely be coming back. read more

While I was in Orange County, California (where I'm from), and taking care of family business over…read morethe span of two months, I found a good place to get my hair cut twice, and I was very satisfied with the results. Cypress Barbershop's online presence gave me the impression that they specialize in fades, but I know they do more than that, since they were giving various types of mens haircuts both times I was getting mine cut. Neither time did I make a reservation before coming here, since walkins are welcomed. One of the things that everyone heading to this barbershop should know is that they accept cash only. Cypress Barbershop is in a small shopping center, but there are more than enough parking spaces available at all times. When I visited, there were four barbers cutting hair each time. I waited at the most 10 minutes before getting my cut. On the wall behind the front counter is the price list for each type of haircuts. Mens haircuts are $18 and senior cuts are $15. This shop is kept clean. The same woman gave me a medium fade with a comb over both times. She took her time cutting my hair and was precise on how she wanted my hair to look. Nice job - both times.

This is a good neighborhood barber shop, family owned and operated by a nice Korean husband and…read morewife. They are both warm and welcoming. Work: the husband Jae cut my hair, and I think he did a decent job. I was happy with my hair cut. He humbly told me that his wife is much more experienced. The key difference between this old fashion barber shop and the newer app based franchises to me is you get to see familiar faces over time. After all, hair cut is a personal service. NOTE: Their men's hair cut has been $20 and will be raised to $25 starting February 2026.

He also does an excellent job making the fade work in a biz casual format if you want longer hair on top (he does a great job with scissors, too) with a subtle but still very fresh fade. I tried going back a second time. Waited for about an hour and had to leave. I couldn't wait anymore. As I was waiting that hour, the girl they have up front managing the customer list couldn't keep it organized. A lady walked in with her little boy for an appointment with a particular barber. The barber became available, and you would think the lady with the boy would be called up for him. Nope, instead she called someone else on the list. The girl forgot. The lady had to say something to the girl and the barber that she had an appointment and her son was next. I decided to make an appointment with Diane for the next morning. That way I can get in and out fast. They do charge an extra $5 for the appointment. I get there in the morning for my appointment, and that same girl up front tells me Diane just put someone in her chair and that she could assign me to another barber. Are you kidding me?

This place is family-friendly. During both visits, while the men were getting their hair cut, their young kids were waiting and playing on the benches. The vibe was cool and comfortable. We saw a kid inside that time sitting on one of the chairs. He said sure mommy it looks nice. So we finally tried it! But I tried it with my oldest son because I found out from his friends mom that she lovesss this place! She has been taking her son here! And we now understand why! Walking in, the vibe is different. It feels wholesome. I can't describe it. It's super clean and you can tell they all have been together for a while like a big family. Unfortunately the guy my son was supposed to get the cut from was running late so Wally took over. He was super nice. And actually so were his coworkers. Super friendly. They just chat with you like the barbershops you see on tv chatting it up. I loved it so much! But of course what do I know? My son is the one getting the cut. But Walter definitely took his time and did a fantastic job. We have gone from barber to barber looking for a good one and we are so thankful we finally found one!!! So happy! He did great and my son was so happy he said he has never had his hair that nice before. And Walter even gave him a little hot towel and clean shave for his birthday.. super impressed with this place and now I know why they have been around since 2016. Keep supporting them guys! If you haven't tried this spot, it'll definitely be your go to barbershop soon! Oh and what also impressed me being a bit OCD is that it's soooo clean inside. So clean! I don't usually give 5 stars but I'm impressed. Very impressed! I agree with my son, this was the best haircut he has gotten. Will definitely, definitely be back! Count on it!
