Joining Jenifit has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the moment you walk in you are warmly welcomed, everyone is so nice and inclusive, the staff, the instructors and all the other members working out with you. They offer a wide variety of classes, spin, barre, boxing, TRX, circuit training, bosu, etc. And every once in a while have a fun "pop-up" class featuring a dance instructor or a Krav Maga expert for example. The instructors at Jenifit are motivating and kind and the classes I take have challenged me like no others and have made me stronger. I look forward to every rewarding workout! :-)

The class I attended was a full body workout. During the class we used dumbbells, the barbell, and kettlebell. The full body workout was good and I felt like I definitely got a good workout in. The instructor teaching the class really pushed you to put effort in. It was super inexpensive in comparison to other workout classes. It was only $15 to take the class which I think isn't bad in my opinion. Since my sister has gone to the class more than I have, she had brought a 10 class package deal where she got a discount when she brought the package. So for her for 10 classes she is approximately paying $12 a class and she can go to any class she wants. I definitely recommend Viva Z club especially if you want to incorporate another way to work out.

I had driven past the studio hundreds of times and heard friends rave about the Pure Barre method and finally decided to take the plunge by taking their complimentary "Basics" class... and then I was hooked! Not only are the instructors warm and welcoming (even at 5:50am!) but they make it a point to learn your name and gently adjust you during class, so you can get the most out of each workout. The other thing that I love about Pure Barre is that the entire workout is shaped by accountability. There are no machines or distractions for you to compensate with... your mindset and your body get to be in charge of how hard you lift, tone and burn and that kind of accountability ignites the fire and confidence to push yourself more and more every time. Although I've only attended around ten classes, it is evident that not only my body has gotten stronger in this short amount of time, but so has the positive dialogue in my head. I also have to commend the studio on hosting live online workouts during the COVID-19 outbreak. I know that for many of us who thrive on routines and being physically active, the restrictions the coronavirus has placed on us has made it difficult to feel "normal." I am grateful that Pure Barre Short Hills has created a safe and healthy option for people to continue to build strength and confidence during these trying times.
