The first class is complimentary and as someone who had not been to a gym in ages, even the basic classic class was tough but the instructors are so supportive and encouraging that you want to come back and work harder. There is a place to put your valuables and they provide you with all the equipment that you would need. The group aspect of it motivates you to push yourself harder. I would definitely recommend it!

I signed up for the one class and ended up taking 4! It's hard but short and sweet. The movements are hard and the choreography is detailed but the instructors were all incredibly kind and patient. They lead by demonstrating the movements but then they also come around and correct you. My first instructor even asked if it was ok if she did so - which was different but also amazing. The classes were all different and extremely engaging. After my week of barre, I was hooked! I highly recommend you trying out this place! It's a nice addition to your workout routine. A bit pricey but a great way to use different muscles!

Would never have known about this studio if not for finding it on Class Pass. The studio is not…read morevisible from the street, but the entrance is off a parking lot in the alley. Maybe it would be worth trying to put a sandwich board out on one of the main streets so people are aware. This is a small business and the owner, Jade, teaches many of the classes. She is super friendly and you can really see the effort she put into making the studio a nice space. There is tasteful decor that a lot of bigger studios can't be bothered to do. After entering, you go up some stairs. If there is a previous class, you will need to wait in the stairwell until the class is let out as the door is locked. Not a great waiting area, but also a common thing to do to prevent theft so I don't mind it. The reception has a couple of chairs and a shoe rack to place your shoes. There is also a water cooler and towels to use during the workout. This studio does require grip socks, so bring your own or you can purchase branded ones at the front desk (props to the owner for branding these socks!). Otherwise, all equipment is provided including mats, weights and Pilates balls. There is one washroom, which was nicely decorated and had towels instead of paper towels (plus for sustainability). The washroom also had a few toiletries like hairspray and Kayne a spray deodorant? There are two cha ge rooms, a coat rack and lockers with provided locks and keys. It's a small area but functional. The studio itself is a really nice airy space with hardwood floors. There are tons of windows and bars all around, plus a mirror on one wall. I would be concerned about being in the sun on the window side, but the studio has pretty decent AC so it didn't get that hot. The instructor stands in the middle but also moved around to either end during the class, so there was good engagement. Sound system worked well. The class was unique from other barre fusion type classes because we did a bunch of planks and push ups (did not expect this!) and then sections with weights and abs on the floor. I would say there's probably 40% full barrel and the rest is either not barre, but might incorporate some barre concurrently. There was a lot of time under tension, which was good. At the end, there was disinfectant spray and towels to wipe down equipment. The demographic here is pretty mixed across ages and body types. I think it's a pretty welcoming space for people of all abilities. It shows that Jade really puts a lot into this studio and business and I encourage people to give it a try as they seem to have a lot of promotions. I hope it gets more exposure!

Sculpt your body, feel the burn…read more Sculpt Intervals with Jade was, by far, one of the best classes I've taken! It was a fast-paced workout with minimal breaks and great music to push my limits and keep me pumped throughout. Jade, the owner and our instructor, took us through a range of low impact, isometric movements, at times with weights added. My muscles felt like they were on fire (a lunge and curtsy combo is no joke!) with each interval. Jade's energy, enthusiasm, and clear instructions made the pain more bearable though. If it's your first time, I suggest doing a class through ClassPass like I did and perhaps trying the Intro Offer ($69 for 2 weeks unlimited) after. Note that the studio is quite small and hard to find, and you'll be waiting in the stairwell to be let in. It is a very clean and cozy space though, with lockers, change rooms, a washroom, and small towels provided.

It's a nice studio with nice ambiance, but I found it a little difficult to see what the instructor was doing since I wasn't up front. I think I still prefer yoga studios with mirrors. In addition, I prefer "hot" yoga. The instructor I had that taught yin yoga with sound bath is really nice and attentive, but she said it was her last class that day and will be teaching at other y yoga locations further from me. So this review is based on the studio itself.

My friend J went quarter before 3 and I showed up little late when the dance session started. I wish there was a clear instruction before walking in. I was confused whether to take shoes off to change to indoor shoes or go into studios without my shoes and turns out I had to change to indoor shoes after arrival. Next step was filling out application form and if there was any medical history. I was ready for the session once it was finished. There was so much energy and the 90's hip hop was so perfect for this. Everyone wasn't first timers except for me and J. My instructor showed steps from slow speed and then the pace became quicker. It was little difficult to follow the steps and which direction to swing or to bend my legs. I nearly fell for the first 30 minutes , and then fell on the floor because of my poor balance. My only way to catch up is to observe my instructor or other people to improve dance steps. It was a fantastic work out for sure. Because there was only 1 fan, I felt very sweaty and humid in the dance studio. I only paid $10 for the first lesson and it was so worth it. Staff were nice and friendly. **Note: bring your old runners for the dance. Make sure they're clean pair. They have small change rooms so you can change into loose clothes. Water bottle is a must to bring. They even have a water station next to reception desk. I found myself overwhelmed that some moves were more of advanced level. Everyone else moved so fast I couldn't follow their speed. I found myself with a small bruise the next day.

I usually attend the weekday classes after 5pm and they only offer the "classic" classes between Mon-Thurs evenings. I would love if they could throw a power class into one of the Mon-Thurs evening time slots. * Not much variety within classes themselves. It's the same exercise routine every class - I would love if they could switch things up a bit. Some of the cues that the instructors provide seem robotic and you can tell they are just going through the same motions every class.

The room for boxing classes is very dimly lit and there's loud music playing on top, similar to Rumble. They do offer earplugs outside but it can be an overstimulating experience if you're sensitive to that. At the time I had booked my classes, they offered 2 free trial classes but it seems like they no longer do that. However, you can still have a consultation session for free. My complaint is that for the boxing classes, you do have to rent the gloves unless you have your own (I have my own hand wraps so I'm not sure if you'd have to buy that as well). For such a high-end place, I would've expected that to be included in the booking.
