This is a great balloon place. I have been here twice to buy a bouquet of balloons for someone's birthday. They have a wide selection of balloons, ranging from birthdays to gender reveal, bereavement, and get well soon. They have everything streamlined for the most part. The large mylar balloons are fixed on the wall, and for the latex balloons, you can choose how many you want (the price for the # of balloons you want is on the counter). The price of the balloons is on the pricier side, but it is to be expected for a specialty store. The balloon quality is great. The staff is overall friendly and helpful, and when it came down to my indecision about what color balloons to get, they stepped in and helped me out. My first balloon bouquet consisted of 2 numbers, 3 latex, and 1 small mylar for $54.28. They lasted for 3 weeks. This second balloon bouquet consisted of 6 mylar balloons and 1 large mylar balloon $40.22. They are still holding strong a week later. I like this place and I will be coming back when in need of more balloons. read more

I've been coming to the balloonery for over 20yr and I honestly love this place. It's a Stockton gem for sure. The staff here is always nice and their balloon work is really good- thats the main reason I keep coming back here. But im not gonna lie, the condition of the store itself has been really disappointing. The outside of the building looks rough and not very inviting. The sign makes it seem like there's a lot of party supplies, but when you go inside, it's actually very limited and feels outdated. Inside isn't much better. The floors are pretty bad- tiles are coming up and it just doesn't feel clean. The walls being repainted is nice and definitely an improvement, but it doesn't fix everything else. my biggest issue is the inventory. the balloons themselves are still good quality, but a lot of whats in the store feels outdated, Qualatex isnt even in business anymore, and that's still a big part of what they carry. There are so many other good brands out now, but they're barely stocked here.I've asked multiple times about certain sempertex colors, and they don't even carry full color lines or all the sizes. Like how do you have one size but not the others in the same color?? That doesn't even make sense when you're trying to put something together. Also, it really feels like the store hasn't been updated in years. There are items that have been sitting there forever and not selling. It honestly feels like old stock that never gets refreshed. I 've brought this up to staff before and they're also so so nice, but I know they're not the ones in charge of ordering or marking changes. I still love this place and Im gonna keep coming back, but it really needs an upgrade. It has so much potential, it just feels like it hasn't been kept up at all. read more

It was so easy and convenient to place an order from out of town with this amazing business. They did what they said they were going to do and showed up on time with two beautiful ballon bouquets! Great customer service, follow through and product. Thank you! read more

I have visited this location twice to get balloons for two different birthday events! The first time, I got a balloon arch for my 32nd birthday! The arch turned out beautifully and although it was a little on the pricy side the customer service and experience was worth it. More recently, I went to purchase balloons for my daughters 9th birthday. Going into the store I was not quite sure what I wanted to purchase but the displays are so beautiful it makes it easy to start forming ideas. They were helpful and prompt with assisting me and getting the balloons together just like I envisioned. I will definitely visit again in the future when balloons are needed as well as recommend this business to friends and family. read more

They make nice balloon bouquets, but honestly, they are overpriced and I also felt like the customer service isn't the best here. The lady who helped me didn't seem friendly at all and seemed annoyed to help me. And then the heart balloons they sell were $5.95 each and it's the same ones at Dollar tree, I wish I would have just purchased it there but I went to the balloonery because I wanted a specific bouquet put together for my birthday and I was also in a rush. I don't think I'll be back to this place read more

I used to love shopping here, but this is the SECOND time that I've visited this business and noticed how other patrons were greeted friendly and were accommodating by asking if they needed help. Not me. I suppose the color of my beautiful dark skin is not welcome. Hey black girl, don't shop here. #smallbusiness #blackownedbusiness #shopelsewhere read more

The Balloonery - A huge selection of balloons - Balloon Services Near Me - Stockton, California

Not a great selection. Was looking for Elmo birthday but they had none . This giant head was available.. A ballon popped when I got to the house not even 5 min . There was a hole on top of the latex balloon . Then 6 hours later when I took it to my nieces party .. the Elmo popped as I walked out the door . What kind of shit is this ? $31.50 later down the drain . I'm calling in the morning for a refund. This is ridiculous ! **** ***update *** very thankful for the manager stepping in and replacing my balloons . I brought them in and to my surprise I must have caused a hole in the eye .. per the argumentative worker who decided to gaslight this whole situation, in a very condescending manner. I should have read prior reviews, I will never come back here or recommend to anyone . The worker was rude and vile and had to be right . You win sis ! You lost my business and I'm sure with your attitude you will lose many more !!! Thank you manager for making it right ! Please show the rest of your employees what good customer service should be like ! This business must be new owners or management because this store is not the same ! read more

I lived in Stockton for over 20 years and never knew this place existed. Right when you walked in, it's busy.. not human busy but with stuff. Anything and everything from ballonary, ribbons, clips, etc.. It's all there. The ladies in the store were helpful and super quick. Price range I felt like the same as if you went to Party guy. Try it out. It's cute, small, and full of options. read more

Once in awhile I have to drive to Stockton to come here when I have last minute projects and can't wait for shipping. They usually have everything I need and are always friendly and helpful. They had some discontinued qualatex balloons available today so I was excited to find something so exclusive! I prefer shopping online but it is nice to see the colors in person. If you're local, I'd recommend coming here for helium as well. Don't expect the same variety of specialty balloon twisting sizes (646's, bee bodies, etc.) that you'd see from online wholesalers with big warehouses. However, I did notice they had some unique printed round balloons (black floral, neon pink zebra, etc) that I haven't seen elsewhere and now I'm regretting not getting some. I browsed the website before going to make sure they had what I needed and I noticed that the merchandise you see online is pretty much exactly what you see on the shelf. It would've been a huge let down to find out they were out of what they advertised. I also called and they checked stock for me over the phone Just make sure you bring your resale license! read more

The balloons I ordered were delivered on time and they were kind enough to assist me with my needs. I would certainly recommend them!

Wish I could give this place Zero stars for their complete lack of decorum and customer service. My husband and I have been trying to support small businesses as much as possible. He purchased a super large set of balloons from here for my 30th birthday to make it special. They loaded it in the car for him and not even a few minutes later the largest exploded and he was devastated. He paid $24 just for that main balloon and the whole arrangement fell apart because of it. I told him I'd call the place because they're probably reasonable to some kind of manufacturers defect. No balloon should pop within 15 minutes of being bought if it's of even semi decent quality. When I called they were unhelpful and argumentative, stating that there wasn't enough space in the car (he made all the adjustments and moved the front seat forward for it to fit also it can easily fit 3 people comfortable in the back so there's no reason why the balloons were so stuffed that they should explode) and that we would have to pay for it to be replaced. I should also say that my husband gets me balloons every year and we have NEVER had this issue. In fact balloons that are less expensive have lasted us WEEKS. Please choose to do business literally anywhere else. $24 is steep for a balloon anyway but the complete lack of accountability, customer service and honestly quality of product isn't worth even $1 Hope this review can save someone from wasting their money and prevent someone's birthday from being ruined. read more

This place was fantastic. Vicky provided excellent customer service, listened to our request, and the outcome was beautiful.

Beatriz does beautiful work! She has a passion for creating the perfect balloon arrangement for every occasion.

The only place where I get my balloons. They have the biggest variety and their helium balloons lasts up to 2 weeks!

Last week I had a very short Oder for balloons. It was my nieces birthday. She turned 5 and didn't understand why she couldn't be with her friends and her dad had to work out of town. I placed a order and the person I talked to suggested a couple of other ideas instead of what I had rambled off. They had it ready before I picked it up and I thought it was perfect! I brought them to my niece and she was beyond happy! They truly made her birthday! The balloons even stayed up for longer then 5 days. ( that was a wonderful surprise!) thank you so very much! read more

I have always chosen this location due to its amazing balloon boutiques & its homey feel. The last time I went I called ahead and asked that I wanted to recreate a bouquet for my mother that she had received years ago by my father(hot air balloon) and was told I could come in and choose my colors. As soon I got there I waited for my turn into the store and was helped by a nice employee that was great. As soon as the other associate found out the balloon I wanted she flipped out and said I had to have placed an order in advance and there needed to be a prep. In addition she told me I would have to go and come back 3 hrs later. The man apologized as I explained I called ahead of time. He told me to wait about 15 minutes and he would walk it out to my car. I will definitely have to debate if I want to come here again. Very rude. I could easily take my $80 that I spent and support another local business. Thank You for the great bouquet, but the customer service was horrible. I felt like crap being talked down to in front of other customers. read more

Still my go to for balloons. I wanna thank the staff for delivering the balloons quickly. My sister was at the house to accept the balloons as the orginal recipients weren't home yet. One balloon popped as the delivery lady handed then over. She blamed the ceiling . Even if that were true, for $57 worth of balloons , it should have been replaced or at least offer a refund. The lady removed the balloon with the attitude "they'll never know." It didnt sit with me well so I emailed the shop with some feedback. She apoligized and immediately sent the driver out to replace the one balloon. I told her no, not for one balloon that's silly. Well I'm glad it happen because the balloon that popped looked the most expensive one. So, it ended in great customer service. And the recipient was most pleased. Will order again. read more

Ok so I'm very fascinated with this shop . It's like my candy store . I'm so glad we have it in our city . Big help . Whenever I have projects or parties to organize , this is so much better and cheaper than the party city and part guys. Most of the stuff here are whole sale , and if you needed only a few in your projects they sell single balloon . How cool is that. Everything about making a simple to grand balloon art you may find it here . They can also do the art for you cheaper than the ones you hire for your event. So not only do they sell balloons they also have almost everything for decorating your parties . So it's like a party store but cater more on the balloon making . Stuff are very friendly , they make sure you find what you need and if you don't know what you need they may suggest things. They're very knowledgeable to everything . Like I said it's like my candy store bec I tried making balloons myself. But if you don't know how to , then they can make it for you and deliver it to your event . If theres a 6th star I will give it . I went home really satisfied and happy for what I got . Definitely coming back in my next balloon project . Super awesome love it read more

I'm not sure I can give a less of a star review but I certainly would. I contacted this business to order a balloon because the wind took the first one away. I had to use the Internet in order to find this balloon because it's a double bubble Shrek and donkey balloon which I can't find anywhere else. After placing the order, I called to confirm that the order would be delivered because I noticed that the charge for the delivery was double the cost of the balloon. When I asked about the cost of shipping, the woman laughed at me as if my concerns weren't valid. That should've been my first guess that this wasn't going to go well. I then explained the fact that my life is spiraling out of control and I just lost this balloon and I need it for work. I mentioned that I'm getting a divorce in my entire life is falling apart and she said ma'am are you OK? In tears I replied no I'm not OK I just need this balloon and I hung up the phone because the transaction was completed and there was no more information to obtain from this individual. I sent them an email on Tuesday of this week asking them for an update and still hasn't received anything as of Thursday. Just got off the phone- they told me that they have canceled my order the day I ordered it. They didn't bother to call. They didn't bother to reply to an email. And didn't bother to be professional whatsoever as she spoke over me while we tried to speak. I would never do business with these people even if you need the balloon try to find something else. read more

I usually don't write reviews for places other than restaurants, but The Balloonery deserves a review! This mom and pop shop has been around for many years, and I can see why. Driving there, I was a little skeptical. It's located in a very sketchy place in Stockton. The parking lot is very small, luckily they have a large sign right outside of their place, so you won't miss it. They have great customer service! The lady that helped me out was extremely patient with me. The staff working there are very aware of what they have. I simply asked if they had anything "princess" or "spiderman" balloons, and she would point me to the right direction. They have a large variety of balloons and party decorations here. Growing up, I had an obsession with balloons, so this was like candy land for me! One thing I was looking for coming here was the gold number balloons. I was so ecstatic when they said they have it. Only downfall is that these are a little pricey as are $12.95 for one, but I couldn't find any other party stores that carried it. They also do balloon arches! They start at $160 for the size of two doubled doors. The great thing about The Balloonery is that they will have someone come to the location and make the arch then and there. I will definitely be back here for all my balloon and party needs! read more

I'm a business customer and have been for about 15 years. The staff have always been super helpful and friendly. Most recently, while they're closed for COVID-19, Anne went out of her way to make sure I had was able to get a replacement helium tank. Extremely rude customer service over the phone. Kept emphasizing that they could be too busy to help me the day I come in for a quote. I understand it's a business and can get busy, but how else would I be able to get a quote unless I came in to see the product and get pricing? I asked her if I could come in and she said "if we have time. it depends if we're busy that day." I'll stick to the business I've been going to. read more
