My other dog Kehlani, is such a sweet loving girl, but also needed basic obedience and an understanding of boundaries. Steven took such great care of both, and our family is extremely happy with the results of our dogs. They maintained their personalities to who they are, but have higher obedience, confidence and are excited every time they go back to Steven for weekend boarding! Thanks Steven for everything!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Steven! We brought our 10-month-old Cane…read moreCorso to him for a couple of weeks, and the difference we've seen is truly incredible. Before training, our pup was full of energy but difficult to manage due to his size, strength, and puppy habits. Steven not only worked with him patiently and consistently, but also gave us the tools and confidence to continue his training at home. Our dog came back calmer, more responsive, and much more enjoyable to be around, yet still his happy, loving self. What really impressed us was how knowledgeable and dedicated Steven is! He clearly understands the Cane Corso breed and how to bring out the best in them. He kept us updated throughout the training process, and when we picked our dog up, he took the time to walk us through everything step by step so we felt set up for success. He was giving us daily updates and all of the problems we were having at home, Steven addressed at his home under training. We are so grateful for the care and attention he gave our boy. If you are looking for a trainer who is professional, skilled, and genuinely passionate about dogs, we highly recommend Steven! We will definitely be coming back for more training with our next puppy!

Tail of Success - The first time we've been able to take Franklin in a public space in years. Ray helped build our confidence and skills to get to this point!

And we did the homework. The homework was well worth it. Everything that he taught us to do helped our dogs get better at listening and behaving with one another. I still refer to the notes I took during our first meetings to help these doggies be the best that they can be.

100% satisfied with Tail of Success! We have Jazz a Boxer running a muck at home. I spoke with Ray…read moreabout training and he referred me to his Bakersfield trainer Jay Garber. I was specific of all the areas of concerns with Jay during the evaluation. He recommended four sessions for Jazz. At first I thought no way will this Boxer be corrected with four sessions. To my surprise I quickly learned otherwise. First session Jay addressed the running out the front door when opened. Jazz immediately obeyed Jay and myself. So impressive! Second session we needed Jazz to sit on his bed during breakfast & dinner. While his owner in a wheelchair enjoys his meals. Jay accomplished that in half the session. Third session was walking. Being able to keep Jazz on my side and from growling at other people or dogs. In one session Jay empowered me to lead Jazz. A big task for some of us women who struggle with being pack leaders. Jazz and I have been enjoying some lovely walks. Thank you Jay!!! Fourth session was calling Jazz in from backyard. Jazz did well with Jay. That is something I am sure I will master shortly! If not, I now have a dog expert to reach out to for help. Jazz was so excited to see Jay on a weekly basis. Jay was so loving and it made me realized I was not loving with Jazz. He is not my dog but my clients. However, I have started to love on him. This way he feels he belongs to someone and that he is loved. This poor dog came from the shelter during COVID. I have no idea what life he had before. However, now Jazz is living his best life ever thanks to Tails of Success. I have always felt professional dog trainer have. value. This recent situation has re-enforced their value based on their experience, quick results, and in home training. I highly recommend this experts. Side note: make sure you do your homework daily to reinforce all Jay's teaches your pet. This way you too will be a happy client with a happy pet.
