We were a lil skeptical being first timers here and no stranger to couples massage experiences, however they did not disappoint! They offered us coconut oil package, took great consideration of our preferential areas, and really muscled-in on each of our bodies individually; honing in on where we each naturally distributed our weight and carried most tension. Of course I'll leave a good review! Thank you so much to our therapist team.

My work schedule limited my availability, but I was able to call and book an appointment for the end of day Thursday. MasPaz is located inside the Phenix salon suites and Kristin greeted me warmly when I arrived. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork and address any health concerns I had. The room is calming and has a humidifier and music to block out any surrounding noises. Lomi lomi style massage incorporates hot oil, which Kristin uses an organic coconut type, and strokes across the body. I was prepped and ready for the table. The massage was fabulous; calming and focused on my areas of tension (neck and shoulders). I could feel my sore muscles being targeted which felt great. Overall an enjoyable experience! It was hard turning my brain off but I was told it gets easier to do with future visits. Loved the hot oil and the warm towels to wipe off the oil at the end, gave an exfoliating feel. Kristin is a wonderful masseuse and very personable, I would recommend getting a massage here!

Quick backstory on me - I have had chronic pain since I was a little girl. Over years of being misdiagnosed as a million things, I finally was properly diagnosed with Lyme Disease about 6 years ago. I have dealt with chronic pain that no treatment rarely EVER helps. Lyme Treatment helped with many of my symptoms, but pain is still a huge problem for me. Chiropractic and massage are the only things that have relatively helped me in my pain. Since I found Jenny, Cassandra and her team, my pain has been helped immensely. Each member of the Odyssey team has their own strengths and specialties. With my chronic pain issues, they all teamed up and paired me with each of the therapists to see if we could find what really helped my pain and what clicked. After having read multiple wonderfully positive reviews of Arizona Massage and Bodywork, I…read morescheduled a session with Pilma via text (with a number provided on her website) which was very efficient and convenient. As requested, I arrived a bit early for my appointment in order to fill out informational health paperwork. After completing the paperwork, Pilma asked questions about any concerns and areas that needed focus, what type of pressure, etc., which I informed her about. She kindly assisted me to a therapy room with that was very tastefully decorated with various pieces of art, subdued lighting and soothing music which provided a very calming atmosphere. Her nicely padded treatment table is the most comfortable I've ever been on and I was able to breath easily while on my stomach and importantly, I didn't experience any back pain from being on the table after my session. During my treatment, Pilma was very careful massaging and stretching me; she frequently inquired about my pain level (I have Osteoarthritis) and the pressure level she was applying. Not once during my massage, did she cause me to flinch in pain as she was very much in tune with her observations which I very much appreciated. My massage session with Pilma, who was so kind and compassionate, was up before I knew it and she helped me sit up and also offered me a cool bottle of water and recommended to drink plenty of fluids the rest of the day. From my very positive experience with Pilma today, I can see why she has so many wonderful customer reviews. Deepest gratitude to you Pilma, my new friend; I look forward to future therapeutic treatments with you. Also, please accept my thanks for your kind and unexpected generosity.
