My body is well past using massage therapy for pampering; I need it for relief from aches and pains. Out of desperation, I walked into Lemon Tree Massage for a same-day, 90-minute upper body massage. My shoulders and neck were feeling like concrete and they hurt. My massage therapist was very friendly, but she was not an expert in muscle anatomy. Therefore, the massage was not as helpful as I needed it to be. I paid $100 for a 90-minute massage plus a 20% tip. I tipped her for her effort and professionalism even though I left disappointed. She checked in throughout the massage for desired pressure, but she was definitely more accustomed to massage for relaxation versus therapeutic relief. A few more notes...There was no table warmer, which was fine by me, but you get the gist this is a no-frills experience. There is no neck cradle on the massage table; you're given a donut pillow. This place is located in the shopping center next to the Home Depot.

I did a 2 hr massage with cupping. This was more of a "working" massage, with deep knots that needed some working out. Remember, there is a small $2 service fee for credit/debit cards but I believe it's totally worth it. So happy with this place.

I've been having a ton of back pain and went to schedule an an appt (I usually get a massage for…read morepain relief)- but my normal therapist is out so they gave me recommendations on which therapists would be most similar and I finalized the booking. Tonight I saw Tresca, and I left in a total daze. I cannot remember the last time I felt so physically relaxed. I am pretty sure I fell asleep in the session and I can't remember the last time that's happened either. Tresca offered pain relief and in a way that was so calming my entire system settled- and that is beyond amazing to and for me, I am very grateful. I love the north Scottsdale location of the NOW- from the moment you walk in, the scent starts working on your mood and the sounds of the ocean in the treatment area drowns out the noise. There are several amazing therapists there and I'm so glad I can add Tresca to the list.

The complimentary massage was with Trang, who did a fantastic job. It was clear that she was talented and paid attention to my areas of focus/concern. She also provided a full 80 minutes of her time, as expected. Had my original experience been with Trang, The NOW would have received an easy 5-star review from me. I am changing my overall rating to 4/5 due to the hassle and frustration I originally had to deal with. That said, management and ownership did the right thing. Bad experiences (or just bad fits) can happen, but the difference between a good business and a bad one is what management and ownership do to address those issues. 5 stars to management and ownership, 5 stars to Trang, and 4 stars overall given my specific experience. I can comfortably recommend this location, as long as you are willing to speak up if you don't get what you deserve. After my first experience, I would not have considered this location in the future. After management/ownership intervened, and after my experience with Trang, I can confidently say I will return, and if my experience is anything like the one I had with Trang, I'll be happy to follow up with a 5-star review.

Upon arriving the…read morereceptionist said they only have 2 massage therapist and 1 out of the 3 of us will need to wait. I opted to wait. While I was waiting the receptionist put me in a bright green room with the foot soak set up. I thought this was complimentary because I had to wait. Mind you they close at 9 pm and we arrived there at 2 pm. So no rush. It was only us in the establishment. The soak was 30 minuets long. They cleaned it up and I waited in the room for another 30 minuets, I took a nap. The friends I came with were still in the room getting massages in a relaxing properly low lit room. The receptionist calls me into a tiny room to prepare for my massage. This room was not relaxing like the other one. The lady comes in and does it. I saw she had a timer on the table and it read 25 minuets. I got in that room at 3:30 pm and she finished my massage at 4:05. The massage was lackluster. I wouldn't go back. I asked my friends how their massages went and it was completely different. They said received a full hour of pure massage and the foot soak. I didn't like this because I was willing to wait but the staff insisted to rush us out of there. The only thing I honestly liked was the foot soak.

I've been having really bad back pain recently and she was genuine when asking about my pain and what I needed so she could help alleviate it, and attuned to my needs. She worked on my back for a while and really helped release the tension and tightness I was feeling. It was nice and relaxing and Trang was very sweet and worked hard on me. The location is in a building with other suites, which can be hard to find, but they let you know ahead of time.
