Makes for a delicious, sweet, chocolatey and moist donut. Perfect size as they're mini sized but great sweetness. We also tried the chocolate covered biscuit. To add injury to insult, I was charged HST which si not applicable for any purchase on 6 or more items. On the same visit, I also bought melomakarona (cinnamon) cookies which were decent. Unfortunately, I also bought a pound of shortbread cookies of various selection priceed at $13.00 a pound and they were all stale. When I visit a bakery and pay top price, I expect fresh quality - not cookies a week old. Apparently, they don't sell quickly enough and not demoted to the 'day-old' shelves.

I didn't pay attention to the pricing, but I just caught another review afterwards that said they sell cheaper than grocery stores. If that's the case, it may be worth coming here for that then. I picked up a marble rye, hot dog buns and cheese sticks, as well as a date square. All were perfectly fine, but nothing that jumped out at me - apart from the date square. If my review was on that alone, I would give it 5 stars. I don't care if people bug me and call me an old man, I love date squares and theirs is loaded with dates - easily twice as much as most others.
