Turkey Sammie

Solid sandwiches and service. The turkey is tasty and filling. The bread tho is life changing.

Slaps!! 1000% This is a walk up order & go place. Be aware there are no tables, only a couple public benches outside. We got there about noon on a Tuesday, there were a good amount of people waiting outside for their orders. The fall special loaf Rosemary needs to calm down Parm was out of stock I got the Godfather on the traditional loaf and my husband got the Beet Tuna on the Dutch Crunch. So so good!! The bread was perfect and flavorful, I got mine with easy mayo and the red Italian dressing it was not over sauced or overly messy but definitely a 2 hander!! Very filling!!

They have Dutch Crunch! I repeat Dutch Crunch! 4 stars because we came in a little under 2 hours after opening on a weekday, and they were already sold out?! I'm not a local, so I'm unsure if this is typical or not. We went back a few days later, but I put in an online order before they opened this time. The order was ready on time. I love the stamp they put on the paper, it's a nice touch. Everything was fresh and delicious!

No dine-in seating, which I would've preferred. There are just two kiosks for ordering and someone calls out your name when it's ready. The sandwiches had lots of customization options and I went with the godfather on dutch crunch. Unfortunately, the food did not carry well in the ~20 minutes it took to get home - the bread was quite soggy on the bottom and felt dense / chewy overall. Being from SF, I maybe have higher standards for dutch crunch, but this was not meeting my expectations. The fillings were pretty good though, and the portion to price ratio is reasonable for the area.

No restroom or tables. Just a place for take-out. Tried this famous beet tuna sandwich on Dutch Crunch. Bread was superb. Couldn't taste the beets at all. It was a good sandwich, but nothing crazy special here. Godfather on Rosemary Parm - this was incredible. Highly recommend!! Much smaller than older reviews show it to be. They definitely only put 10% of the meat they used to. Quite pricey for the amount you get

1st timer here and omgggg the godfather sammy was delicious, i got basically everything on it lol & it was by far one of the best sandwiches ive ever had !! the staff was also super nice & gave me a free cookie :) which was also really good as well (white chocolate macadamia nut) the only thing i wish they had was a lil more outdoor seating, but i still give it 5 stars 100%

Meh. Honestly I was pretty disappointed. I had my hopes up especially when I walked in and you could smell the fresh bread which made my mouth water. I ordered two sandwiches for my friend and I ahead online. It says it would be ready in 10-15 mins. Ended up being about 27 mins. Which was frustrating because I was on a lunch break. Whatever, that can be forgiven. The disappointment really started when I sat down to eat my sandwich. It looked amazing and packed with meat and cheese. Unfortunately it was just the part in the middle packed. The meat and cheese didn't reach to the ends of the bread. Just one pile in the center so it looked packed when you cut into full. I ended up reorganizing the entire thing because the bread would slip off and the first 3-4 bites just had bread and toppings. Little did I know the bread and toppings were the best part. The cheese was super thick and lackluster. Probably a good 1/4" thick which wasn't very appealing. The pepper salad topping was excellent I would go for the spicy choice next time. The bread was absolutely a 10/10. Great portion definitely filling.

Omg probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. A self-order kiosk which makes it easy to customize your order, and a speaker system to call your name when it's finished! I got the borgata and it was sooo yummy, from the crispy toasted bread, to the flavorful peppers. I think about this sandwich a lot and I love the stamp touch on the wrapping of each sandwich. 1000/10

Nice little spot downtown and there's an ice cream shop right around the corner! Small place with no seating but they are quick and efficient. You order on the two kiosks to the right and they crank it out for ya. I got a turkey but what most attracted me to this place was the Dutch crunch bread. If you've never had it definitely give it a go. It's sweet and crunchy. Although I would recommend maybe eating it upside down cause the crunch can tear up your mouth like captain crunch ha. Sandwich was tasty and price wasn't too bad. They also have glass cokes which is the best. If you can find some parking give it a go!

Working downtown I wanted a delicious sandwich and this place did not disappoint! Located in the Pearl District, you'll want to order online (unless a larger order then 4 sandwiches). I got to enjoy the T.B.L.T on a Dutch Crunch roll, YUM! So fresh and delightful-They make their bread daily and when they're out, they are closed till the next day- pretty limited. I ordered an early lunch and it satisfied my afternoon completely. Next time I want to get extra bacon, and maybe a roll or three to enjoy later. Pretty decent price for the sandwich- comes warm. Limited menu. They have an Italian roll as well and it's going to be a tough decision next time.

Pretty solid place to get a sandwich. From the looks of it, they don't cut any corners. Fresh bread, house made mustards, high quality meats and cheeses behind a glass thing on display. I got The Godfather. It had salami, prosciutto, capocollo, ham, mortadella, and provolone. It was good. The meats all seemed to be good quality. I thought the bread could have been better though. It wasn't as fresh as I was expecting. Still, a solid sandwich.

Was strolling in the pearl and this new show caught my eye. Located right next to Ben and Jerry's - follow the smells of the fresh baked bread This place is what you'd expect from a pearl district sub shop. Minimalist interior. Yummy menu and a model of their two different breads. I opted for the Italian sub on their crunch bread and it was superb. Bread was great and the fillings even better. A bit pricey - 10 bucks but is a good sandwich. Will come here again

The sandwich was amazing. No tables inside or out - so best to order online, pick up, and find a nice park bench around the neighborhood.

The patty was cooked with a slight pink -- exactly how it should be -- juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The spring lettuce was an interesting switch from the usual, but it actually worked and gave the burger a fresh bite. It's a solid-sized burger too, definitely filling. Only minor thing was some of the cheese slid off, but nothing that took away from it overall. I also tried the Caesar salad. It didn't come with croutons (not sure if that's intentional), and while the dressing was evenly coated, the Parmesan was a bit heavy and ended up overpowering the rest. Not bad, just not as balanced as it could be. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's put together in a way that makes you forget you're even in the city -- relaxed, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Service was easily a 10/10. Attentive without being overbearing, respectful, and genuinely friendly -- the kind of staff that makes the experience better without trying too hard. Overall, a really solid spot. I'd come back without hesitation.

Their tap list is extensive but also includes non-standard options. We love to see non-alcoholic beers as well as gluten free beer, cider, cocktails, and other libations. The food menu is great too. There are several items that either come gluten free or can be modified to be. The servers are knowledgeable about the ingredients of the menu items and I feel confident and safe eating here when gluten free is a need for me. They can get pretty crowded, but have several seating options. It was nice out today so outdoor seating was even possible, though it looked like there was a wait. There are tvs in several spots that showcase local sports when possible. There is a kids area and you can sit close while the kids play. Everyone we come in contact with here from servers to hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good. This time around, we shared the garlic Parmesan fries and the chicken wings (buffalo and honey gojuchang sauces). The wings were smoked and moist with good flavor. The fries were alright. More of the aioli would have helped so maybe request extra sauce or get some on the side. The dessert menu has some non-traditional offerings. The highlight for me was the cheesecake. I was assured by a server one time that the chef creates a gluten free cheesecake that rotates on the seasonal dessert menu. The current offering is tiramisu. The coffee chocolate sauce is good and I appreciated the bonus chocolate chip biscotti. The actual cheesecake is decent and I would be excited to try other flavors in the future.

We recently took a staycation in downtown Portland and decided to have brunch there. At 1030 on a Saturday morning, we were still able to get a table. It was crowded, but the noise level was do-able. Service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. All of the waitstaff seemed very relaxed, which I thought was great. They bring beignets to every table as a starter. They are light, airy and not too sweet. For breakfast, I had the Ed's scramble, which had a ton of veggies in it, but also cheese. It was served with a ranchero sauce and sour cream. This was very, very good. My husband had the chili and cheese omelet, he said it was great and it looked really good. This is an excellent dining spot that has been in Portland for years. I can see why.

After we ordered, I went to the bathroom and the food was already out when I came back to the table. I ordered a salmon benedict, so it did not seem like it was "made to order." The salmon benedict, although highly recommended by the waitress, was extremely fishy, even though the "hollandaise sauce" (which had no depth of flavor, and was just thick) covered the entirety of the egg, salmon, and english muffin. It came with cheesy hash browns which again had no depth of flavor. Cheese makes anything tasty but it was just too much. The service, while friendly, was not attentive. We were unsure who our server was and I had to flag down the server for the bill and then to take my card 10 minutes later.
