Had some repairs down there. Time will tell if they did good work. My only major concern is when you drop your car off they don't give you any paperwork they do not write down the mileage you just give them your key so you have no way of proving that you even dropped your car off . I know if the bar finds out they can get fined and they should get fined. What concerns me if they're cutting Corners like that where else are they cut in corners on ?? read more

Nate & his crew of mechanics are awesome. I had my old Kia serviced there several times and all the things I wanted to have fixed were fixed in fewer than 3 hours for a very reasonable fee. Recently I bought a used Corolla and had it checked out by the Auto shop. Except for a small crack in the window washer fluid container they gave the car a clean bill of health and charged only 1/2 hour of time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE !!! I took my truck in to have the sway bar and tie rod replaced. ( front end stirring) . Asked for a quote and was told they would need me to drop the truck off and would call later that day with the quote. They then call me back the next day saying all four of my tiers ( witch are less then year old ) are bad and need to be replaced and that they didn't even take a look at the sway bar or tie rod ( front end stirring) . I then waited the the rest of the day and finally got a quote back and was multiple hundreds more then an other auto shop quote . I then pick my truck up the next day to make it 3 miles down the road to my engine miss firing with hard nocking and check engine light blinking . When I called the shop and talked to the "owner " and told him what is happening he said they had nothing to do with it and could have been from the truck be park in the parking outside and it had rained over night. He basically is blaming my perfect good running engine with 130,000 miles is miss firing and nocking from being park out side in the parking lot while it rained over night . These peaple are con men ! He then Told me I could bring my truck back in but I'd have to drop it off while they tested with a code reader ( witch takes less then 2 minutes) . Then he then hung up on me after I told him I don't trust leaving my truck there again and I'd would need to be there . This felt like a very normally a currants the way I was treated and how they handled the situation. I'm sure this is not the first time they have done this to customers. read more

I didn't want to take my diesel truck to get serviced at the dealer in Auburn and I knew that the guys here had worked before as Ford mechanics and knew the Diesels like the back of their hands. They are very nice, skilled and super honest. They won't try to jack you around and it's nice being a woman and being able to trust them. Prices are very fair for the work done as well. Become one of their regular customers and they are super accommodating especially when there's a vehicle emergency. But they get booked up quick so be prepared for that. I took my grandmother to have her car looked at because the check engine light was on. The gentleman ran the code and it ended up being that her gas cap was not screwed on tight. This created a "leak" in the system and triggered the check engine light to come on. Not only did they not charge her for the appointment, they topped off her low coolant at no charge. THIS IS A 100% HONEST REVIEW. JUST BE AWARE OF THE TRUTH!! We've taken our vehicle here a number of times because of the reviews on this website. We eventually discovered that was a HUGE MISTAKE. I am now in the process of turning these guys into the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. They did NOT fix our vehicle after a number of visits. I have solid written proof that they made so many ILLEGAL modifications to various parts on our vehicle, it now barely runs and it will NEVER pass a smog test because of their ILLEGAL repairs. I can't believe a repair shop would even do such a thing but they did. The owner may appear to be a nice jolly ol' guy, but that certainly doesn't give them the right to make illegal modifications to your vehicle. I am now also thinking of suing. It has cost us $889.89 to fix what they did. ALSO - MAKE DARN SURE YOU ASK FOR ALL THE OLD PARTS, or you will truly be sorry! read more

These guys have been great. My husband and I have used their service on more than one occasion. When I took my car here it was not fixed the first time. The day after it was supposed to be fixed by the mechanics, it overheated. I took it back in to get fixed again. I was told that it would be done in 2 days so when I went back to get it Rusty got very mad at me and threw me keys across the counter and told me to take my car and cursed me out. I left in tears because I had spend $800 to get my car fixed and was turned away with a car I could not even take out of the parking lot. After asking CHP what I could do because I was treated so horrible. They had said there was nothing they could do. After getting my car home and having a mechanic come look at it. The parts that I was told had been removed and replaced were still the old parts. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I am only 22 years old who is trying to get my life started with a home and a working vehicle. read more

I had a problem late on a Friday afternoon and was moving out of state two days later. I called and spoke with Rusty and explained my predicament and he told me to get there within 30 minutes and they would take a look at the problem, even though they were super busy and already running behind for the day. I cannot express how helpful this shop and specifically Rusty was during a stressful time. My son was driving from Chico to Wyoming for a college project when his vehicle started overheating. Best experience with an auto shop - EVER! My car had been leaking coolant for a few weeks and I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. The day it did I was close to The Auto Shop so I called and talked to Rusty who said to bring it right in but they might not have time to get to it until the next day or two. He diagnosed it as my water pump and I proceeded to try to get a rental car for a day or two. These guys are really honest. They tell me when I do and when I don't need something done on the car to avoid me wasting money. They are also really reasonably priced. You get a tire rotation with an oil change for, I think, 50 bucks. My dealership was charging me 80 just for the oil change. Helps they are right down the road from me.
