Something happened to this small business. There hasn't been a positive review in years. I used them twice and worked directly with the founder; while their "bedside-manner" isn't exactly warm and welcoming, after pressing them hard they were able to put me in the car I wanted. Not this year. They failed miserably to get the car I wanted on special promotion in the auto manufactures website. There were over 40 cars within a 50 mile radius and they wanted me to pay more for a car from 'their dealer' they didn't have in stock. They wasted my time and the promotion ended while they took a holiday. They didn't value my business or my loyalty. Finding Andrew at Tri State Auto was literally the saving grace I was seeking in my car lease experience. After several weeks of intense research and self education regarding the car buying/leasing process, I was feeling confident going into dealerships ready to negotiate my terms and a fair deal. I quickly realized however that every dealer I went to was worse than the last and frustration mounted as I was getting nowhere close to a "fair deal". I will admit I was a little skeptical considering a concierge auto buying service, but after reading all the reviews, decided it was worth a shot given all the great experiences. I'm super late with my review (6 months!) as I have a little one at home, however I felt it still important to write one nonetheless. I couldn't be happier with their service. I in particular was helped by Andrew. Now mind you, we were looking for a car during the holiday season so right around Christmas/New Year's. Despite most people's knack to shut off during this time, Andrew was ALWAYS available and responding to emails and keeping us updated with the process (I feel sheepish as I write it thinking about that....). Now if that doesn't tell you something, nothing will convince you! You WILL save money, trust me. Both my husband and I are CPA's (accountants), and we really did a lot of research before going to Tristate to get the best deal, but the fact of the matter is because we are individuals, we will never get the deal that Tristate will get because they are negotiating multiple cars with these dealerships. Just spend the money to hire them, because not only will you save much more in the end, you will save countless hours of haggling, of which is pointless because as mentioned above you won't be able to get the deal they do (trust me, I tried!!!).
