Never bought a car here but people seem to be nice. I charged my car here and the lady from sales came and offered a coffee without trying to sell me a car

I had Cassandra as my associate and she was amazing, I went in looking for what I thought I wanted and it wasn't what I expected. She picked out a Hyundai Tucson thinking it would be a better fit for me overall. She was right! I went else where and test drove 2 other cars and came back specifically asking for her. I couldn't recommend her more, everything went smoothly and I'm very happy in my new car. They didn't have my new plates in when I went to pick up my car and she made sure they were shipped to my house as I'm out of town and I shipped back the dealer plate easily with the instructions they included with no extra cost to me. Very happy overall and would highly recommend asking for Cassandra!

terrible incompetence

this is in regards to my overall experience, particularly service at stamford hyundai which is owned by this dealership, and i can't imagine things are better here. There are too many reasons why this dealership gets a plethora of one star reviews. And also not to mention they are not associated with the Better Business Bureau - that is because in order to be associated with the Better Business Bureau you need to agree to their practices which clearly they have not and it shows very blatantly... and to be honest with you, you are better off putting your car on a tugboat and sending it to Korea to have it fixed. it will definitely be back to you in a more timely manner and you will probably get quicker updates via international mail then this dealership, because i have received ZERO and have had to call and stay on them every day! the incompetence of this dealership is mind-boggling and it is beyond a sorry excuse.. I will never return here ever again... and look, don't take it from me, take it from the multitude of one-star reviews.... and to the dealership, don't even bother responding to this because there is absolutely nothing that can make up for this abhorrent way of doing any sort of business. i can't imagine anyone that works here really truly loves their job and beyond that, who would, working at a low quality car dealership contributing absolutely nothing to society.... with all that being said, I don't hold it against the employees completely, I hold it against management and whoever owns this dealership because as I know with any business, it trickles down from the top and clearly the top is at the bottom of the professionalism pile. thanks for pretty much nothing but an inconvenient headache. You couldn't offer me a free car to make up for this absolute lack of everything on every level. icing on the cake is when i get there, to finally get my car back after 15 days of waiting.. back orders. no loaners. and the guy GEROGE.. who can't be trusted and is beyond lazy, who also never once called to give me any updates, finally tells me it's ready, after i hound him down for updates.. gives me a 15 minute window to get my car. i arrive and it's not ready. there is no one at the desk and he is no where to be found. UNBELIEVABLE. BUT BELIEVE IT, BECAUSE THIS HAPPENED. you've been warned ps... take a wild guess as to whether or not my car was even washed, but it's ok, because there is no way i could be any more disgusted. if you are into losing faith in humanity, and masochism you'll feel right at home here. PPS. my car is also scratched where they leaned on the body of my car to do work in my engine. see photo. and i won't even go back to them to have it remedied, because its just not worth the hassle. THE INCOMPETENCE IS ON A LEVEL OF WHICH THIS REVIEW CANNOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO DOING JUSTICE

I posted a NEGATIVE review regarding my 2019 Hyundai Tucson purchased from Danbury Hyundai. The business manager Sue replied that they would help me if I brought it in to be evaluated... THIS IS A LIE. I sat in the service department for over 5 hours. No one from Hyundai has reached out to me after calling numerous times! TO: BUSINESS MANAGER - I SPENT 5 Hours IN YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT ON 5/10/24. Brandon and your service department did not offer any help only that I would have to pay nearly $800 for Rusty Rotors and new brakes!! I'm not sure what Brandon has told you??? What is it that you would like to evaluate?? This is outrageous! Get your facts straight before responding or don't bother. Again, if you were really concerned you would pick up the phone and call me!

My daughter saw a used Mazda that she was more than interested in. Someone referred her to Kevin. He had the car ready in front for her to test drive. Kevin was extremely professional and so not pushy. He said, take it out and let me know what you think. She loved it. Kevin assisted with securing financing and she is driving off happy. I recommend Kevin "with the beard". Worth the visit .

When we saw online that they had a used Audi A3 diesel, my husband was excited because he's always liked those. We checked it out on a Sunday when the dealership was closed and could see it was very nice. Based on the Carfax report, it had also been well maintained. He contacted the dealer the next week and we made an appointment to test drive the car. Our sales rep was very nice and low pressure. We drove the car and liked it but had a set price in mind that they couldn't quite meet at the time, so we parted as friends and left it at that. A couple of days later, we got a call and they were able to get closer to our price and it seemed reasonable, so we went ahead and said "let's buy it". We were able to do most everything remotely, so we signed the purchase contract and sent the payment all via the internet. The only thing left to do was to pick up the car and sign the paperwork to get the registration/title paperwork done. It was fast and easy! I'm not sure how fast but I know that I didn't get to the train station in Brewster until 5:35 and then we drove to Danbury and signed the papers and were driving off in the car by 6:01, so that was pretty fast. Loved that there was no pressure for add-ons or being trapped in the room with some finance guy. Really a pleasant experience. The staff at the dealership was nice and they always have very interesting cars (I would have loved the BMW convertible but that was out of our price range!). We recommend Weeks Pre-Owned.

We lost a very exact Q3 by waiting a few days to make a decision and Derick called to say he has the same car(but even better equipped) the next day! Most salesman don't care as much as Derick. The car is great! They even included BOTH mats!

Rating: 2/5 Stars…read more Frustrating Communication and Questionable Sales Practices Location: Colonial Mazda, Danbury, CT Summary: While I walked away with a vehicle, the purchasing process was incredibly disappointing due to poor communication and a lack of transparency regarding financing and vehicle availability. The Details: Initially, my family and I visited the dealership to purchase the latest model 2023 Mazda CX-30 for my daughter. Since the desired blue color was out of stock, we were promised it would arrive within a month. We signed an agreement to trade in our 2011 Honda Accord for a locked-in value and secure the 2023 Mazda CX-30 at the current 0.99% interest rate. Over the next month, I repeatedly checked on the car's arrival, only to be told it would be "arriving soon." However, after the month passed, I was suddenly informed that the 0.99% promotional rate had expired and no longer applied. Even more concerning, the salesman then strongly encouraged us to purchase a used CX-30 at a much higher interest rate. This felt like a deliberate delay tactics to force us into a higher-rate loan. Rather than settling for a used vehicle, I opted to upgrade to a new CX-50, and the dealership honored the initial trade-in value for our 2011 Honda. However, I am highly disappointed that the salesman did not give me even a day's notice before the promotional interest rate expired. Had I known the CX-30 wouldn't arrive in time, I could have secured the 0.99% rate for the CX-50. Conclusion: I cannot in good conscience recommend a dealership that operates this way. Transparency and clear communication should be a priority, and unfortunately, this experience fell completely short of that standard.

After purchasing my car through their associated preowned dealership (which was a fiasco in itself), I was given a complimentary oil change. That seemed like a nice gesture--until I found out future oil changes would cost around $400. On top of that, I showed up at 8:30 AM and waited nearly 3 hours for what is, frankly, a very routine service. I later had the same job done by a local German specialist for $150 in an hour. It didn't stop there. I was quoted an extremely high price for brakes as well, and ended up getting the work done elsewhere for about 60% of what Audi Danbury wanted to charge. At this point, it's hard not to feel like their pricing model is completely out of touch. The warranty experience has been just as frustrating. I've only used it once because of how difficult they make the process. I brought my car in for an intermittent issue with the rear dome light turning on and off. They diagnosed it as a faulty SOS control module and quoted $1,000. It took them an entire month to complete the repair--and that's after I had to delay my drop-off because they gave away the loaner vehicle they had already reserved for me. Fast forward a year later, and the problem still isn't fixed. I ended up putting a piece of vinyl over the light just so my passengers don't have to deal with it. On top of that, the front desk experience is consistently poor. The service advisors are often nowhere to be found, and when you do speak with someone, they rarely seem confident or knowledgeable about the questions being asked. Most recently, I reached out about calibrating my radar/ADAS system after installing lowering links on the factory air suspension. My local mechanic--who specializes in German cars--was upfront that his equipment couldn't handle it and didn't charge me but told me it was no more than a 2.5 hour job. Audi Danbury, on the other hand, quoted me $1,000 and claims it will take 3-4 hours. When I tried to discuss my past experiences and build some kind of working relationship, I was met with pushback about my modifications potentially voiding my warranty, warnings that the dealership is not mod-friendly, and no real effort to be helpful. I was told to book anyway and that the fix might not even solve the issue--meaning more costs could follow. I agreed to move forward and asked for a confirmation and written quote via email. I never heard back. Overall, this dealership feels disorganized, overpriced, and uninterested in building long-term customer relationships--especially if you're even slightly outside of a completely stock setup. It comes across as a business model catered toward a luxury audience that would rather blindly hand over cash than take a closer look at the value they're actually getting. I truly love the Audi brand and want to start by saying that I was the one who encouraged and…read moreconvinced my husband to become an Audi customer. Before Audi, he only wanted Subaru or Toyota. Because of my belief in Audi, we became loyal customers -- and today, both of us own Audi vehicles. That is why it is especially disappointing to say that I have gradually stopped using Audi Danbury's service department. Over time, I noticed a clear difference in how my husband and I are treated. When he brings his car in for service, his vehicle is consistently washed and he receives noticeably more attention. In contrast, my electric Audi has never been washed, nor has it ever been charged, even when I asked about it. Each time, I was given an explanation or a promise that was never fulfilled. Rather than continuing to place myself in situations that leave me feeling ignored and frustrated, I chose to step away from the service department altogether. This review comes from a place of disappointment, not anger. I love the Audi brand and believe in what it represents. I simply hope Audi Danbury reflects those same values equally to all customers -- regardless of gender.
