Really awesome venue! They have some great shows coming up, and the prices are reasonable. I loved watching the concert from the upstairs balcony! Great view from up there. Hana Vu and Babebee were amazing. I had such a fun time! I recommend getting there early and grabbing a drink and merch before the show gets started.

Great place to see a show. Good views of the stage from any location. Sound and stage lighting is pretty good for a small venue. Security worked fast to move the line through. My only gripe is the high prices on drinks.

My first time seeing a show at this venue and it didn't disappoint. The staff were so nice and friendly... literally from the security to the bar staff. We went to see Emei earlier this week and everything was great! The main floor is intimate but enough space for moving around. The second floor is great too. Lots of space to see the performers even for us shorties!! The venue has plenty of bathroom, coat check, and area for merch. Bathrooms were clean and the space overall was clean too! I am impressed!!

Was my 1st time at this place . Ended up stopping by for Jordin Sparks event. I must say , it was a blast . I sure will be returning to attend future events. The bartend was friendly and respectful. It's a really nice cozy atmosphere.

From the layout to the outdoor patio to the general vibe, this is definitely one of the cooler venues I've visited. Never experienced the OG 930 Club, but apparently The Atlantis is supposed to replicate the former in its heyday. The two-story setup is greatly appreciated if you don't want to be in the heart of the mosh pit but still want a closeup view of the act. The second story is also set up stadium-seating style, so the tier ahead of you is lowered, making it easier to see over. But as always, plan accordingly so you can get a decent spot. Acoustics get pretty loud, due to the compact and intimate setting--which is also Awesome because you really feel immersed in the show. Just don't forget your earplugs for this venue. Other perks: Drinks surprisingly affordable for DC, friendly and helpful staff, the bathrooms were ridiculously clean (Amazing), and it's within close walking distance to other bars and restaurants if you wanted to grab a bite pre or post show.

What a great show in September, both, Silverada and Jason Scott & the Heat. First, be prepared because there is no seating at all. It's a stand only place so you better love the band you are seeing. Ha! It's also a small and intimate venue and the bartenders were cordial and quick. Bathrooms were clean, bright and safe.

The first concert I attended at The Atlanis was Bartees Strange, with Jachary as the opening performance. The venue is small and very cold, standing only with two levels, and I can't wait to come back for my next experience; I'm looking up all the upcoming acts I can to have an excuse to do so. I love how convenient The Atlantis is to public transit - several buses as well as the U street metro stop. The venue itself is beautiful- very clean, including the bathrooms, which might partially be newness but also speaks well of how the staff are maintaining the facilities, because there have been dozens of performances with thousands of people attending already. The acoustics are excellent. I confess I was only recently familiar with Bartees Strange when I saw that he was one of the inaugural 44 acts for the opening of the venue. After seeing him live, I'm definitely a fan - his performance was moving, uplifting and exciting all at once, and the intimacy of The Atlantis was an amazing space to showcase his skills. I want to see more shows like this, Bartees and others, because to me this is what live music is supposed to be. Just an FYI, another reason to love The Atlantis is the sustainability focus through their r.cup program - when you order a drink, you get it in a reusable "r.cup," when when you're done there are clearly marked bins where you return them and the facility washes and reuses them. You're not allowed to bring in your own beverage containers so this is a nice option. Beverage options include a good selection of beers, liquors, a few wines, and sodas as well, and they're pretty fairly priced too. The one downside of the experience was how COLD it was, but then again I'm ALWAYS cold. A lot of people, including my partner, purchased hoodies and other merch to layer up for warmth, but I'll just wear a warmer jacket (and scarf) next time. I can't wait!

    450. 450! That is the capacity of The Atlantis. So yep, it's tiny. And there's not a bad spot to stand in the place. The rooftop is super cute and made up to look like the street did back when. The bartenders are friendly and quick. The beer list is good. And the sound was great.

A beautiful and very intimate venue next to the 9:30 club! The staff are very kind, the acts are great, and the facilities are super clean. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic smaller venue. Sound is perfect and incredible for such a small venue. It's a replica of the original 930 Club and attached to the new 930 club. Worth noting that the bar does not accept cash. So come with a card. Drink prices weren't as insane as some venues. Good selection of non-alcoholic options and they use heavy plastic cups which are to be put in a recycle bin similar to how you do after seeing a 3D movie. So it's ecologically and environmentally sound. Would absolutely consider this a preferred venue of mine.

I had a small bag and it was allowed into the venue after a quick bag check. I bought a last minute ticket at the door and they stamped my hand for entry. The main stage is on the upper level. I took the stairs (not sure if there's a public elevator) and as I headed up, there were signs stating "no stage diving or crowdsurfing"... this ain't the Fillmore! I didn't really explore the facilities or check out the restrooms, since I beelined to grab a good seat, but the checkered floor certainly gives the venue some character and makes it memorable. While a seated event isn't typical at this venue, the seats were basic folding chairs and tightly packed next to each other (I definitely rubbed shoulders with the people next to me). But overall, this is a great venue to see a show! Pros: - Intimate venue (no screens necessary) - Not overcrowded - Can buy tickets online in advance or at the box office in cash to avoid fees - Metro accessible (walkable from U Street Metro Station) Cons: - Limited box office hours (only open when they have shows) - Show start times aren't posted until a few hours before doors open (not good for planning purposes).
