Charging for parking ( we are not San Francisco ) Monstrously ugly architecture replacing our charming old buildings, not to mention the ner-do-wells who use the streets as their personal urinals while law enforcement stands by, hands tied behind their backs. What was a wonderful eclectic mom and pop owned store ( and NOT Bethel affiliated for a change ) is no more. Sorry Redding, you lose once again.

Of particular interest is his collection of feminist art and political buttons, ancient glassware, and an old Dutch Master. I came away with some ERA buttons, Laurel Burch jewelry, a real Swiss Army watch, a book from 1917 and a Rush album, for a combined price of $25 including tax. This shop is nothing to look at from the street, but the owner is an amazing collector and font of knowledge.

The staff, gift shop and art are truly not to be missed! An unexpected but lovely side trip lead us here and we were so glad. Great place to grab some original art to remember your road trip by. If you live near Redding and haven't discovered this hidden gem yet, make a point of going soon and often! You will not regret it. It is a little tricky to find and maps doesn't help a lot. But don't give up. It is that other building nestled in back as if it were unimportant??? Once you turn off the street into that weird maze like parking lot you are so close. Don't give up. The gallery has its own tiny parking lot under the trees right next to it and it and you go around back to enter. This hiden gem is so very worth finding!
