If you are looking for an authentic tasting Korean meal- look no further than the angry Korean! All food is freshly made and very authentic. My husband lived in Korea for 2 years, we eat a lot of Korean food, and he said this is the closest he's gotten to an authentic Korean meal! That being said - the ambiance here is a little off. The floors were sticky. I'm not sure if there's an AC Unit because there's a fan blowing on you all while you eat... you order from a tablet so I didn't interact with any workers, though they did make our meal quick and it's very fresh. Who here is old enough to remember remember when Cupbop was good? Their rice bowls are basically that but even better than 2014 CupBop. Paid over $17 for beef bulgogi bowl with the fried egg add-on. I'd be out over $20 if I'd had a drink. Not cheap for fast casual but I'll definitely be back. Their POS prompts you for a an extra donation to the restaurant or as it's called on the screen "tip" That's a little insulting to me and to service people who serve you food in restaurants. There is no actual service here other than the food preparation, which I have to assume is included in the prices. Ordering is done through a self order kiosk and you pick up your food when your name is called. I considered asking for a couple dollars out of the tip jar after bussing my own table. read more

If you're paying with a card you put in your order through tablets. Everything seems to be an additional cost. The food was very fresh, big portions, great sauces and solid flavor. We got the Fried Katsu chicken sandwich, Korean Cheesesteak sandwich, Korean chicken fries and a side of cucumber kimchi. Fried Katsu sandwich was 2/5, it was bland, soggy and dripping w sauce. Cheesesteak was decent 2/5 but didn't taste like Korean or Korean fusion anything. Cucumber kimchi was disgusting, soggy, mushy, didn't taste like it was a kimchi but tasted like cucumbers that were just doused in vinegar and their own water drained out of them. I eat all kinds of kimchi and that was not a kimchi. The chicken fries were supposed to be Korean fried crispy chicken on top of fries w a sweet sauce and some type of mayo sauce. Instead we received a container of mushy soggy chicken DOUSED in way too much sugary sweet syrup, no other sauce, on top of limp soggy fries. It was inedible. You order at a kiosk, they call your name and you pick up your food from a window. It's all self serve, you even bus your own tables. So there was no customer service. Bc the inside is spartan and unwelcoming we ordered to go and food took about 20 minutes. I eat a lot of Korean food and this didn't remind me of Korean food. Never have I ever felt more unwelcome or unappreciated in an eating establishment. At least the South Jordan location has up-to-par, amazing Korean food. This location on the other hand was not only dismal and uninviting, but the food was terrible. Korean fried chicken has a reputation for being amazing. This place will ruin that reputation. It was soggy, not crispy, and the flavor of the sauce was totally off, almost tasting spoiled. The fries were well cooked and crispy but the mandoo (potstickers) were drowning in so much sauce all I could taste was whatever mayo concoction had been slathered all over what seemed to be perfect fine mandoo. Delicious! I wish they had - location closer to where I live, but it's absolutely worth the drive. The portions are very large. Love the food, but the restroom here is unsettling. Almost wish I didn't see it because I just can't feel the same about this place. The restroom looks and smells like it's never been deep-cleaned. The hallway leading to it is also grimey and needs mopping. read more
