We ordered Bibimbap, Beef Bulgogi, Spicy pork bulgogi, DonKatsu, Ttukbooki with miso soup. We also had Strawberry Bingsoo (Korean Shaved Ice) Everything tasted amazing! Ttukbboki was exceptional great! Loved how the cube format had shrimp tempura and other side dishes. Owners came out asked about how everything was and very warm and friendly. If we are near SLC, we know where to go again! And my boys loved making their own "cubes" by drawing & writing on a sticky note. read more

So Stun Cube is a fun little spot that you really should consider. I took my daughter there on a daddy daughter date before we went to see the Phantom at the Eccles on a Friday night and there was no wait. Always nice to know of a few really good places that you can go on the weekends that you don't have to wait an hour or more. My daughter loves the dessert Strawberry Snow Flake. It is amazing and so sweet and melts in your mouth like Utah's fresh powdery snow. Their bulgogi box is really good as well. I get the beef dish and really enjoyed it. You order at the counter and then the bring your food to the table and check on you. So it's half service. read more

I stopped by this spot for a quick lunch, I ordered the LA Galbi. The beef was really tender and this might just be me but the beef was very salty, one thing to note: I do have lower salt tolerance. The sides were delicious though, I loved the japchae and the shrimp tempura. The staff was super friendly. I do plan on coming back to try some of their other options. Very impressed! I just ordered to go for my first time trying Stun Cube and it was perfect. The person who took my order was so sweet, and brought my order to the door when I came back to pick it up. I have had some different kimbaps at other Korean spots and this one is the best, in overall flavor and freshness of ingredients used, in my opinion. Saw this on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I've been visiting SLC. And always want to try new places. I came on off hour so I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered the donkatsu and a drink. She was super helpful and told me it will be 7 minutes! I decided to order tuna kimbap to go as well. My food arrived and it was plenty. Many pieces of fried meat with side of salad. It includes yellow pickles to accompany the meal. The lady also brought over kimchi and cucumbers panchan. Overall the meal was delicious, the only improvement can be the panko can be less hard. Definitely recommend. read more

The kimbap had the right proportion of veggies with the flavorful bulgogi. The marinated pork bulgogi was full of flavor and also delicious. The Kim chi chigae was excellent. Was excited to try Stun Cube, as it can be hard to get my Korean fix in Utah. It's a cute little restaurant with an interactive feel because they leave out post its for you to doodle on and then you can add it to the wall, plus stickers you can take, etc. They were very friendly and sweet, you will feel so welcome here. We ordered a spicy pork bulgogi dosirak and donkatsu dosirak. Both we were great! My favorite was the spicy pork bulgogi one, I'd get that again. Plus, I loved the cucumber kimchi and fresh, ripe pineapple that came with it. They also serve bingsu here, so I'm hoping to try that next time. read more

We had a night in and decided to door dash from this Korean fusion spot! This place is popular for their takeout offerings, but they also offer dining in. I got the Beef Bulgogi, which was so flavorful and delicious, and comes with some rice, tempura, japchae, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, and an orange wedge. This is a really nice option for a quick meal, and it really satiated my Korean food craving! We also got the Stun Kimbap, which was also very good, and the ratio was just right for us! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place sooner! This is one of my favorite restaurants! Everything I've tried from here was wonderful! Their Korean fried chicken is the best thing in this world, and I crave it constantly! Their other dishes are delectable and perfect to have for leftovers. The service is always friendly and helpful! Dissatisfied, I decided to order the Korean fried chicken so I could get some protein. So now I am $35 into this meal and increasingly more disappointed. It was overly crispy fried batter with chunks of grizzled chicken? I kept trying to eat it so as to not throw away a $20 bill but just couldn't do it and ended up throwing it in the trash. I definitely feel cheated out of what could've been the cost of a nice sit down traditional restaurant meal, especially because I will still need to find something else to eat tonight. They have individual meat plates known as "cubes" and they also have rice bowls like bibimbap, kimbap, and other appetizers like tteokbokki and mandu. I ordered the beef bulgogi cube ($12.99) which is their most popular item. The dish comes with rice, your choice of meat, salad, and some banchan. The shape of the container reminds me of a Korean kento box with a little bit of everything. The beef bulgogi was very flavorful and the side dishes were good and cut the fattiness of the meat. This place solves a problem I've had with many Korean restaurants for a while: I want to eat Korean meat and side dishes but I don't want to only be able to get them at an AYCE kbbq place or some family-style Korean place because I don't want to eat so much food. The other cool thing is if you don't finish your cube, you can get a lid that fits perfectly and allows you to take it to go in its own container. read more

This place has delicious food! The cucumber pickles have retained some crunchiness while still having a delicious pickling. Soup is excellent and a perfect portion for lunch. The staff is friendly and quick. I got here late off of a delayed flight so I was only the second party in here ordering. So after flying into this gorgeous serenity of Salt Lake City on the tail end of a snowstorm, I was in my happy place with hot Korean soup. The price is great as well. An excellent value to the food taste and portions. The kimchi isn't very spicy so caters to the USA spice wimp pallet which is as expected and no issue. We bought 8 meals here last night. Food was on time and it was easy to order over the phone. Some of us enjoyed our meals, but most did not. We ordered: (2) Spicy Chicken Bulgolgi: chicken was really over cooked and was hard to eat. We were given wakame salad instead of Jap Chae with each of our meals, which was disappointing. Bi Bim Bop: chewy meat, flavorless, but nice shiitake mushrooms. Pork Katsu: was over-fried, but this was probably the best of all of the meals. Wished we had received the jap chae.
