High ceilings and natural light fill this cabin, making it feel large and spacious!

Home on the beach! Comfy and cozy, these private cabins are clean and contemporary. Located within walking distance to the beach and great restaurants! We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Pacifica!

    kitchen goals!

I love The Anchor Inn. It is in the most ideal location in the city of Pacifica with the new coffee shop and other various eateries right across the street from it, oh... and the beach! Staying here really is a treat and Ella was very kind to work with. We were in the first unit closest to the street and it was very nice, it was a bit noisy around later hours but that did not last long. It was very relaxing.

Seemed like a good place out of street view to let my board dry off.

After searching for a place to spend a couple of days on my surf getaway, I found the Anchor Inn. I'm so happy I found this place. From the moment I arrived, I noticed how clean and new everything looked. I had unit one which is the first unit once you enter the driveway. Parking is literally right next to the door. You can't get any closer. After entering the unit, I was amazed about the quality of everything inside. From the appliances to the leather chairs and even the hand soap, the owners put alot of thought and care into these units. I'll definitely be coming back. This is the perfect jump-off point for all of your coastal activities in this part of California. TIP: Since I didn't want to bring my sandy wetsuit inside and mess up the unit, I found a spigot on the back side of the unit where I was able to rinse all of the sand off (maybe bring a short hose). After letting my suit and board dry off enough, I hung the suit in the shower area (plenty of room) and was able to fit my board on the floor near the front windows. There's an outside deck, but I didn't want to risk someone climbing it and snatching my board.

What a fun concept! Each tiny cottage has its own theme and no common or shared spaces make it very private. We stayed in the Coastal Cottage. It has the best view! No need to drive once you are here. Easy walk to beach, trails, restaurants and shops. With all the windows it does get quite bright in the morning because not all of the windows have shades so you may want to bring eye covers. The balcony is lovely but no chairs or table provided so if you want them you can bring your own. We met the owner and a resident of the neighborhood and they all made us feel right at home. We love Pacifica and have enjoyed staying in various places here but we think we have found our go-to home away from home now!

Reserved on airbnb.com I stayed in #3. This "tiny house" had one parking spot and had code entry. It's simple and modern with a sitting area with a TV in an open space with the kitchen. There are lots of windows with shades to pull down if needed. The bathroom floor was heated and plenty of towels were available to use. The bedroom was comfortable and also had a TV. Dresser drawers were available as well as a small stand alone rack with hangers to hang clothes. Grocery stores, coffee shops, eateries are in walking distance. Linda Mar Beach and hiking trails are nearby as well. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.. The only thing that would make this property even better is a washer/dryer in unit..

We stayed at the Anchor Inn for one night and loved it! We stayed in #2, Woods Suite. Loved the tiny house feel of it and it was nice that this one had a separate bedroom and the bed wasn't right near a window. You can't see the beach from the house, but after noticing surfers walking across the field out of the window, we walked over and were at the beach. We went to Nicks for dinner (close drive down the road and right on the water) Ella was easy to communicate with and gave good details about the house. Just an FYI, Your credit card is charged at time of booking. We would definitely come back again!

    Studio unit.

A very cute and quiet get away, close distance to beach, stores and lovely eating placing. The units are clean well kept up. Truly enjoyed our stay in the studio unit and also the one bed room unit in the month of March 2022. Both are perfect for a get away for two. Keep in mind no pets are allowed in the units.

You see the mini walk to the beach from here. 3 min tops!

I stayed here for Mother's Day and when I arrived. I was in total awe! I was given a special code for my door to get in so no check in at the front desk. Which was kind of cool lol! This property is beautiful! I enjoyed every part of my suite! The kitchen fully stocked with new silverware, pots, pans and plates etc The shower was gorgeous! 3 minute walk from the property to the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice getaway. I recently shared my stay here on FB and EVERYONE wants to know where this property is! I definitely shared! I will be booking again and spreading the word. Thank you again for an AMAZING stay!!

The staff was friendly, and check-in was easy. The room was decent-sized, but still kind of basic. We had a fridge and a microwave, but no safe. We got a handicapped room, not sure why, but the balcony made it nice. The shower had super low water pressure. The remote blinds barely worked with the controller and the "fake view" on the roller shade was kind of comical. Unfortunately, the closet furniture required brute force to slide open or close the door. We took advantage of the free breakfast both days, and the menu was exactly the same each day. The eggs were pretty good, and the sausage was not bad either. It would have been nice if they had a bit more fruit selection; they just had bananas. Our flight home was delayed going back, so I asked for a later checkout (even just an hour), but they said no. I thought that was one of the "perks" of my Bonvoy status, but I guess not. Since it was a Sunday, I thought they could have let us stay one more hour. They did hold our luggage for us and seemed very surprised when I tipped the clerk at pickup. At 10:59 am precisely, "Housekeeping" was knocking on our door, seeing when we were going to leave. Close by the "Shore Shack" is a friendly little diner with decent food. Oh, and one important note --- T-Mobile has virtually NO signal inside this hotel. Your phone will be on SOS the whole time. Luckily, their Internet wifi worked pretty well, but I hate using unsecured networks. We'll be back for this event in the future, but given the cost, I'm going to look into other hotel options in the area as well. It wasn't a bad experience, but it's definitely not a 5-star experience.

The wallpaper is peeling in spots but overall a basic room with thin walls. It is very noisy and you hear every door slam due to the open "lobby" area in the middle. If there are people out there, you can hear everything they are saying. I'm a dedicated Lifetime Elite but got the room that faces PCH (maybe 50ft from the highway). Spent all night listening to the cars, trucks, motorcycles pass by. Cell coverage: there isn't any! Had to use my WiFi to make phone calls! Parking: $15 I don't think I would stay here again.

I alerted Shelley at the front desk about this after I checked in on Sunday 4/12 and was left on hold and forgotten...after 15 min of waiting on the phone to no avail, I called back and then she finally told me that the engineers had left at 4:00pm and that there was nothing that they could do to help me. I asked about being moved to a room with a functioning bathroom and was told that they had no ability to do that because they were not a manager and the manager would not be in until 7:00am the following day Monday 4/13. Shelley informed me that my ONLY option was to use the public bathrooms located in the lobby on the other side of the hotel...and they assured me that the manager would give me a significant discount/compensation for the huge inconvenience when I checked out. I called the front desk first thing Monday 4/14 asking to speak to a manager and was told by Lynne there was no manager in for the day. She said she was unable apply any discounts and wouldn't even grant me a complementary late checkout. I was informed that my only option was to leave a voicemail and wait for Jane to call me back when they will apparently be in the office on Tuesday 4/14. I paid a lot of money for this hotel room and it is unacceptable that it didn't have a functioning bathroom and that I was not given any assistance or viable solutions. I was also repeatedly given misinformation and I have no confidence that there even will be a manager in tomorrow or that they will call me back, provide compensation, and attempt to make things right. I have never had such an abysmal hotel experience and am shocked at the way this was handled.

An honest review: I…read morestayed here for 1 night, on a quick trip. There are both pros and cons to the inn. Overall it was a good stay but I do feel that their website is a bit misleading. To start off with the positives; the location is nice, the woman at the front desk was pleasant, the room was very clean, spacious, tons of closet and dresser space. The mini fridge and keurig were nice to have. As was the wall mounted electric fireplace (just for ambiance). Now for the "just okay" stuff, the tv has dish but that's it. There was no way to connect to any apps or options besides basic dish. The WiFi was a bit spotty. The parking lot is tight and small. The bed was mostly comfortable but the mattress is definitely on the thin side. The mini fridge rattled every 30 mins or so. The building is old so the walls and doors definitely look worn down. All of which were not huge deals to me. Now, on to the cons. This is where I find the website to be misleading. First the ocean views may be visible from the top floor, most expensive rooms, however my view from a bottom level king suite, was the construction site next door, the highway, and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from a break in the trees across the highway. I also had no sliding door or any outside space other than the shared decks in front of the inn. There is also no restaurant or food/drink available to order. However, the worst part (in my opinion), is the noise! I could hear every step taken above me, every time someone scooted a chair, turned on a shower, etc... I could also hear very clearly everything happening outside my room. To the point of worrying that the tv in my room would be too loud for the other guests. If I was to stay again, I would definitely request a room on the second floor. Overall I would say it's a decent inn and a good option if you're needing a quick overnight stay. A bit overpriced but I feel that tends to be anywhere close to the ocean. If you're looking for something fancy or newer with more updated amenities, I would go elsewhere.

They also offer gluten-free bread and pastry options, which I appreciate. Coffee, tea and juices included. There is no hot food. One thing to point out is the rooms do not have air-conditioning. This typically isn't an issue because half Moon Bay runs cooler and comfortable temperatures for most of the year but my husband and I do prefer a colder room at night time so we slept with the door open. There was no ceiling fan, but they do have a couple of portable fans stored in the closets for use. Shower in our room had low water pressure, so not great for those with longhair. The hotel is right next-door to Sam's chowder House so easy walk. Beach access-there is a beautiful walking path right downstairs, which you can access from the hotel. The only thing between the walking path and the ocean is some rocks. I was told by a local that the water directly in front of the hotel is not swimmable but there is beach access with some water about 5 minute walk down the path. The path is smooth so easy for strollers, bikes or other means.
