Tucked away off the high street it has quite a cosy small inside and can get pretty busy on a Friday and Saturday night. In the summer they open up the outside which is covered and have fairy lights and outside heaters. Very nice indeed! Usually a young friendly crowd but might be too young for some people! Food is meant to be good too but I've not tried it.

We also had shrimp and vegetable tempura and a calamari. All were excellent. This was topped off with a smooth French red wine. In addition to the nice food, we had the most incredible service. Our waiter- Con- was the most attentive and knowledgeable server I have ever witnessed. He was fantastic and a strong part of the reason I am giving the Jetty 5 stars.

Ask around me, the food was ok but it wasn't amazing. OVERALL Great to have something different in Guildford but they need to up their game food wise to see returning customer. Most people remember it as the place with all the Absolut Vodka bottles with all the chocolate in them! They have a huge selection of (sickly) chocolatey vodka shots behind the bar. If you ask people where they've been they never remember the name just the vodka! They also have a jukebox in there, but its usually kept well topped up!

The wine isn't mad expensive, so that is a big plus, and the personnel is sweet. The food is good, but unfortunately people have gotten food poisoning from the place, so we avoid eating there since then. Hopefully the place has gotten better with food hygiene. Small, friendly, a nice location just off the main shopping area, reasonably priced and generous portions. The food was delicious and worth venturing over for whether you are local or not! We had crisp halloumi, spiced aubergine with minced lamb, chilli peppered squid, pork belly and chips, a lovely crisp Pinot Grigio (my friend's a white drinker) and a couple of liqueur coffees. All this for £30 a head including a tip. The staff were efficient, attentive and charming. Young and energised, I loved the way all the front of house staff presented one table with a birthday dessert and sang with evident delight to the guest. I met with an old friend for dinner last night and as both of us had needed to drive from London and Farnham to meet in the middle we were both driving. We rocked up there around 10.30pm to be told by the bouncers that it was a £5 entry. We said they never used to charge and said that we were not drinking and needed to leave early. They said we don't care and were very rude to us directing us to a salsa night next door with an older age group. Not sure what company is being used for security but we will not be going back there again. Shame as used to be fun and now is arrogance (not information on the website about the £5 fee after 10pm) and trying to be upmarket when they are simply not. Bring back the old Legion. It was better!
