Great late night spot in the village...can be tough to get in at times though. Try slipping the doorman some cash, always seems to help.

Every time I asked for help they Ignored me as if my money wasn't good enough as everyone else's 3 they have a minimum charge of 25 per person 4. Most overpriced hookah I have ever smoked 5. THEY SERVED MY WIFE AND I CHEESECAKE THAT WAS EXPIRED AND EVER SINCE I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL I HAVE BEEN THROWING UP AND HAVING DIARRHEA!!! Literally the most I paid to have bowel issues When I come back to London I definitely will not be going here ever again for shisha or good or dessert

Being neighbours to a widely known hotel, they must think of themselves as the dogs b******s but are sooooo lame. A Japanese fusioned menu which they can't cook to the right standard. Relatively high prices which the end product cannot justify. Very difficult venue to find as not signposted at all. Even the grounds they share with hotel doesn't showcase the venue so they must be embarrassed of their small time inferior neighbours! Recap: crap food, crap atmosphere, difficult venue to find, high prices, fake - being something they are not and unable to deliver to. I would avoid! Many Many Many times better and classier sheesha and food establishments available around the city, choose one of them and enjoy.

This is a neighbourhood Turkish restaurant with a separate takeaway outlet adjacent…read more The dining part has a main room at the front and a smaller, more private eating area at the rear up a few steps. The walls are largely bare brick and there are pretty Middle Eastern lamps everywhere. That said, the lighting is a little bright and there's piped Middle Eastern music, so it's not as cosy as the name might suggest. We had the set menu for £18.95 for two, with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The menu included the mixed vegetarian meze to start, followed by vegetarian moussaka (served with rice and salad) followed by a Turkish coffee and fresh mint tea. The food was good, and portions generous. The bread served with the meze was superb - as was the Kisir (bulgar wheat with fresh herbs and spices) and Cacik (the Turkish take on Tzaziki). The freshness of everything was very evident. Service from one of the waiters was a bit erratic but the other was super friendly and very efficient. The Turkish coffee and mint tea were very good. The bill, including wine and service, came to £35 a head. A nice touch was asking if we were happy with the service charge. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd happily go back.

We started off looking through the impressive cocktail menu - I chose the Mango Jambo which was delicious (although the coconut milk made it very sweet and a little dessert-y, so I ended up drinking most of it after the meal). They have a great selection with a wide range of spirits. The menus are laminated and a lot of the cocktails come in novelty glasses so it's not a classy affair, but great if you're looking for a fun & laid back evening! We ordered a selection of food between us and the portions were very generous. My favourites were the grilled halloumi (although I'm not sure how you can go wrong with this) and the stuffed peppers - they were stuffed with couscous & veg and were surprisingly light. All of the dips were well seasoned an not too oily, a problem I usually find! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and overall it was a lovely meal.

QUESTION: Where can you go to get a five-star hotel's afternoon champagne tea for £20?…read more ANSWER: The Wyndham Grand at Chelsea Harbour. It's as simple as that, folks. Because of the Wyndham Grand's out-of-the-way Imperial Wharf location, you, too, could enjoy the epic spread of afternoon tea (with posh finger sandwiches, two homemade warm raisin scones with clotted cream and jam and a spread of individually sized sweet pastries and other treats - too much food for a single person to reasonably consume, I assure you) along with a glass of bubbly at a leisurely pace whilst taking in the view of the harbour and its (billionaires') boats. I'm not entirely sure why the afternoon tea is so cheap, but it is. Tea without champagne is a measly 15 quid. I booked a place for tea online and arrived to a quiet lounge area at 3:00pm, with Sunday brunch winding down in the adjacent restaurant. The table was set, and the polished and besuited server greeted me graciously. The low-seated couches and armchairs were large and cosy, and my companions and I sipped, munched, supped and gluttonously indulged for THREE HOURS. Service wasn't without its faults: the server was a bit nervous for whatever reason, but she was certainly friendly and gracious; my first pot of tea was loose leaf, as one would expect of afternoon tea at a five-star hotel, but my second pot had a teabag chucked in (although said tea in teabag was aromatic and delicious); water and/or tea refills weren't forthcoming, but the server would have fetched these things if asked. Despite these lapses in service (nit-picky though they are), overall, the experience and value for money were outstanding. SUMMARY: Go here if you're a local, you want an indulgent yet inexpensive afternoon tea, you don't want to combat crowds of tourists who may or may not think that the clotted cream belongs in their teacups.* _______________________________________________________ *Although I do know that by posting this review the afternoon tea at the Wyndham Grand may very well become more busy than it was on my first visit, I remain confident that it will maintain its atmosphere of exclusivity due to its less-accessible location.
