the acai project is my favorite acai bowl ever! the bowls are packed to the brim with acai, granola, and fruit and always leave me feeling full and satisfied. the fruit is always fresh and it's a perfect light breakfast or snack. the employees are all very nice and helpful and keep the area very clean and organized, despite having only a small space inside the CrossFit gym. I always come back to the acai project when I'm in slo and I will continue to do so!

Lots of seating and great acai bowls for a decent price! New go to place for a good acai bowl, especially cause they have so many options for fresh fruit.

The açaí project has delicious bowls! We are from out of town and we had a hard time finding the actual store front... even though the navigation says "you've arrived" we weren't sure where to go. This is actually located inside the cross fit gym... that's good to know! Delicious bowls, hard to find!

Best açai I've ever had! Great service and the staff were lovely, and a really cool shop with great ambience!

Great açaí bowls and very accommodating staff! I got one of the pre made bowls and asked to swap some toppings and add extra almond butter. They were more than happy to help me and allowed me to put granola on the side as well. The fruit was all very fresh and crisp, fairly priced for what you get, and the açaí was also quite smooth rather than icy. Would definitely go here again to just grab a quick fruity fix after a workout. Has outdoor and indoor seating.

THE go to spot for acai in SLO. Located in lower level of a gym, the acai project has a range of treats for everyone. With both acai bowls and smoothies this spot can statsify any post workout craving. If you're a fan of creamy and thick acai you've come to the right spot. Not into acai, check out one of thier other bases such as blue majik or pitaya. We are especially fans of the granola and chia seed pudding! Bowls aren't exorbantly prices and comes packed with toppings! Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a refreshing snack on a hot day.

This shop is located inside a cross fit gym with a few options for seating inside and outside. I ordered a large and it was filling and tasty. The service was nothing terrible, nothing amazing. Overall, I enjoyed my açaí bowl but felt the experience was nothing special.

THE MOST SATISFYING AND TASTY AÇAÍ BOWLS IN SLO! Connected to a gym, this açaí bowl location is the perfect pick me up or after workout snack. The açaí is thick and smooth, creating the perfect consistency. With granola and toppings mixed into a perfect swirl within the cup, the toppings compliment the entire masterpiece. Each açaí bowl flavor is unique and delicious! Feeling tropical fruits? They have it! Want protein? They have it! Any topping you desire, they probably have it! One of my favorite toppings is bee pollen!

This might be my new favorite açaí bowl place!! I love the interior and how there are seats outside as well! First off, the employees are really nice and friendly! They said their most popular was "I like it SLO" açaí Bowl and I got that in a large size $9.99! It was really good and I love how they put a lot of açaí and toppings!! I also got the Make My Own Açaí Bowl Large $9.99 with the bases: matcha, blue majik, açaí and toppings (5): strawberry, blueberry, banana, almonds, almond butter The Blue Majik and Matcha bases are really good! I've never tried Blue Majik and it's really refreshing, it tastes similar to blueberries and raspberries?? (Maybe it's just me) the Matcha base is also a refreshing green tea and I love how all the bases taste differently without influencing the other bases and taste well with one another!!! I also got the C24 Smoothie with Whey Powder $7.99 (one size only)! 4/5 it's blended very thick, but tastes great! Highly recommend trying this place!

Of all the acai bowls in SLO, THIS IS THE BEST ONE. I'm not too sure why no one knows about this place but I absolutely love it! It is also so worth to get the large if you can finish it. I will say the wait is a little long for some reason but it is completely worth it! It somehow tastes so much better than all the other places and the toppings are fresh! Each bite is crunchy and full of flavor unlike some other places where it is just juice. They have a good selection of bowls and even one where you can build your own.

I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

We had a last minute scheduling glitch and happily wound up inviting relatives for a last minute…read moreThanksgiving dinner. We decided to go with Whole Foods catering now that SLO Provisions is gone. It was a bit tricky to find the site online, but we finally struck gold. I also found a Youtube that described the dishes, and showed how they were packaged. The catering department has lots of selections and you can buy the entire Thanksgiving meal, or build one by picking the items you want. We opted for the turkey breast meal for 89.99, which comes with mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. We also chose Hawaiian rolls and a premade apple pie to have as desert. We got in line at the hospitality desk, and only had to wait about 10 minutes for the meal to come out. All the food was there, but there were no general directions, and only the mashed potatoes and gravy had times or instructions for reheating. We did find instructions online, The online directions were to reheat the turkey breast for 24-30 minutes at 375, but the skin looked raw, and it needed a butter basting. We decided to cook it the day ahead, and it took 1 1/2 hours at 375 to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees, which is safe to eat. We figure it must have been frozen and the very middle would not heat as fast. I roasted it in a big pan, using forks as a rack, and added carrots, celery and a chopped onion to some chicken broth basting liquid. The green beans were nice and fresh, but only parboiled, so we boiled them, and I turned them into the green bean casserole with mushroom soup, and mushrooms, using grated parmesan and crispy onion bits to top it. We heated the mashed potatoes and gravy on the stove, adding butter to the mashed potatoes. I added a sweet potato and pineapple casserole which uses maple syrup as the sweetener and topped it with tiny marshmallows for the kids. We the turkey in the oven 15 minutes before the green bean casserole, the sweet potato casserole, stuffing, and the carrots, then added the food for 30 more minutes at 375. We checked everything for 165, took it out , then heated the roles for about 5 minutes, and put the marshmallows on top of the sweet potato casserole to brown. The result was that everything was perfectly cooked and piping hot at the same time! The turkey and mashed potatoes were great! Moist cooked turkey with great flavor from the butter and additional herbs. The transformed green beans were tasty, and the stuffing was good. The only miss was the cranberry relish, which had a weird, gooey consistency and was more like cranberry butter, then relish, but we had a can in the pantry and used that instead. All in all great value, but a lot of labor to boost the flavor!!
