Everyone who knows me, knows that this is my favorite place to grab lunch on the go. The "secret menu" has a peanut butter crumble with this delicious crumbly texture. The smoothies are all good and filling. The Cocoa Almond Bowl is my favorite bowl. Filling and delicious. I will also often pop into the refrigerator case and grab a protein bar. It just makes me happy to be in a place that uses all natural ingredients that I can eat in a calming and relaxed environment. Order at the counter; the service is really friendly. Not only is there a large menu but their combinations are creative! Counter service only with clean tables inside and outside. I usually have the blueberry smoothie but this time I had the peanut butter crunch. It was like a dessert unfortunately rather than the breakfast I had bought it for, but still good. This place is an absolute gem. I love coming in here with my toddler or friends, it's a great coffee alternative. The staff always seem to be having a good time and chatting with each other and customers, they are all so nice and welcoming. It's a great vibe, which is a real credit to the owner and her team. I love every smoothie I've tried and enjoy the specials they come up with as well. They even have a kids menu for smoothies that we've tried and all are great, too. I can't say enough good things, whenever we have friends and town to visit they are blown away and always want to go back. First time visiting and wow this place is bomb. I wish I lived down the street they can have all my money. First of all inside they have amazing goods to purchase, bee pollen, honey, cbd and they have CBG which is rare to find and amazing stuff. I never jumped on the acai bowl bandwagon but when I saw pitaya bowls in Mau`i, I immediately knew I had to try that. The cold pitaya base loaded with delicious fresh tropical fruits and granola tasted so good that I forgot it was actually good for me. So when I returned to the Mainland, I was on a search for pitaya bowls. My husband tried Bay Area Vitality Bowl's but the pitaya was muddled by the other ingredients in it. So when we were down the Central Coast for a weekend, I thought Virtjuice might be exactly what I was looking for. We split a large smoothie and a large bowl. The Mint Monkey smoothie was tasty but at $10 for a large, you get a better value with the bowls. The large bowls here are a good price at $8.95 giving it a better value than the smoothies and the blended tropical fruits complimented the pitaya vs. overpowering it, however the granola pieces were bigger than I would have liked. Was it a good pitaya bowl, yes making me a fan. Is it as good as the one in Mau`i, no, as having access to pitayas sourced from a farm on island, it is hard to match the flavor of that, so was not as good as it gets. read more

The main reason I am giving a five-star rating to Virtjuice is because of the menu variety that can satisfy so many of customers. Vegan, Paleo, Gluten-free, or Standard American Diet, I bet everyone can find something they will enjoy here. That being said, it definitely caters more to the plant-based community. There are tons of superfood add-ins, included cacao CBD. Smoothies, smoothie bowls, juices made to order, as well as lots of snacks and protein bars and drinks in various coolers and displays throughout the place. And while the diverse menu is nice, the feeling of "overchoice" when you walk in for the first time is real. They also sell a lot of natural skin care products, essential oils, and some supplements too. The staff is chill and friendly. They are able to accommodate ingredient substitutions as needed. The space could be used more efficiently for seating. It is kind of a collage of random furniture, which is cozy enough. I am not sure if they ever get rushes -- we went on a Tuesday around 2:30pm and there were a handful of other customers, but still seating available for our group of three. There is a restroom, darkly lit but clean. Parking lot. Front patio area for sunnier days. I would recommend this for a casual friend meetup, or maybe a chill first date. This was our first time at Virtjuice. They had a variety of smoothies and juices on the menu. I ordered the Matcha Machine Smoothie (matcha, maca, maple syrup, dates, cashew, vegan protein, spinach, almond milk, and coconut water) with easy syrup and extra matcha. My friend ordered the Coco Mocha Smoothie (cashew, dates, cacao, nibs, banana, vegan protein, cold brew coffee, almond milk, and coconut water). I also got the vegan protein bar (vanilla protein, honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, almond butter, chocolate, chia, GF oats, and sea salt). The Matcha Machine tasted like I was drinking a chocolate bar. It was so good and filling. I also had a vegan protein bar that they had in the fridge. It was wonderfully delicious. The sea salt and the almond butter tasted great together. My friend loved her perfectly sweet Coco Mocha and wished she got a larger size. Overall the staff were extremely nice. The store had a lot of different things for sale such as earrings, CBD products, and some beauty products.
