My niece had booked a bus tour for her family and myself to celebrate my recent retirement. The night before, we received notice that the bus had broken down and it looked like our adventure was going to be canceled. We were surprised when the owner/operator Joel, offered to salvage the experience and still meet us at the Richardson complex to give us a walking tour of both the newly renovated area as well as the spooky abandoned space. It was pretty cool as it was just the 5 of us and him. Joel is a wealth of knowledge with a humorous twist as he led us through the gorgeous reimagined hotel areas. He actually sat us down and explained how the former psyche center operated and took us through some gorgeous areas full of architectural treasures, mosaic tiled floors and some really interesting stories. Then it was on to the abandoned areas. It's incredible that the complex could get this dilapidated. It will take generations for this place to be fully restored. Joel's personal stories and desire to tell them really made the experience. He definitely turned what could have been a disappointment into a memorable experience. I easily forgot about the bus portion of the tour and will remember the fun facts and the personal touch that Joel provided for us. Even the most seasoned Buffalonian will find these tours interesting and fun. I can't wait to go again when the bus is fixed, but then again, if it's not, Joel can turn the experience around! I found the Underground Railroad tour in Buffalo and immediately booked. Why did I book? For starts, it's a 3 hour tour learning about one of the most historic and unknown aspects of American history. It is extremely well priced for the convenience and intimacy of the tour. You're picked up at the Underground Railroad Historic Museum (free parking is a bonus) and you're met by Kevin (dressed in period clothing including a dope top hat). He drives you to the key areas of Buffalo that were critical to the Underground Railroad. We had a very diverse tour group and Kevin made us feel comfortable to ask questions and to interact with our group. One of the best parts of the tour was going to an actual "station" on the Underground Railroad. It's a 300 year-old barn organically owned by McClew family who were "conductors" on the Underground Railroad. You get to experience the barn where many people were housed, fed, and clothed on their journey to Canada. After this experience 've become a Motherland C groupie! Kevin (the owner) could be a history professor (watch out, Dr. Gates!) with his knowledge and passion of American history and the history of Western New York (he's a Buffalo native). Kevin even gave great recommendations for shops, food and hotels for the Toronto leg of our trip. They offer a variety of tours so make sure to check out their website to get their schedule.

Turns out we were the only ones on the tour today, so it was a wonderful, personal experience with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide named Kevin Cottrell. He was a great storyteller and a beautiful human being. We visited many historic places and heard many disturbing and heartbreaking stories. This was definitely one of the best guided tours of its kind I have ever been on. Highly recommend.

All in all, it was a positive experience with kids his own age - a memorable biking experience. It continues to be fun for me to overhear him reveal little tales of how he spent part of his summer vacation traveling on the road.

They even had a back room where we were able to go play a couple rounds of cornhole if you are out and would like to visit a winery that's clean, friendly please stop here. No service the first day, which was fine, but we needed service the second day and asked for it in the morning at the front desk. We came back in the late afternoon and nothing had been done. (And no, we hadn't left the "do not disturb" sign on our door). We left for dinner and asked for service again, but were told that it may not be possible that late in the day. When we got back in the evening, we discovered that it had occurred, so that was great. However, the next day, we found that towels had been replenished but bed wasn't made. It wasn't a big deal, just kind of odd. The next day bed was made and towels replenished. Not a deal breaker, just unpredictable. Front desk staff wasn't the friendliest, but overall were efficient. Sundry shop could have used a wider range of selections as there is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. Would have been nice to have had some canned cocktails or wines and a couple more types of beer, perhaps a variety of cookies. Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice features of our stay. We enjoyed them daily. Clean. Hotel is walking distance from a couple of coffeehouses, a sports bar, and a some "local gem" restaurants, which was very nice. Not too far from Niagara Falls and other local points of interest, easily accessible by Lyft.

The drivers I had for my round trip, Bill and Paul were prompt, professional, and friendly and you don't share the ride with anyone. I would recommend this company without hesitation! Don't forget to tip your driver at least 10 to 15%!

It's an hour before we need to leave and nobody has set up a time or confirmed our pick up. I finally received a text from Cory to say he would be on time and then had the nerve to chastise me for checking up on him and told me to be patient. Funny, I get ghosted from Cory with no direction on a pickup and then he has gall to blame the customer. He then proceeded on sending multiple harassing texts to show his immaturity. If you have a flight, I wouldn't expect to make it if Cory is in charge however expect to get talked down to the whole ride. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I am a lifetime Marriott platinum member and we enjoyed the benefit of their complementary breakfast. You order off the menu (not buffet) and it was delicious. There is an outside patio area with comfy chairs and firepit...shares the space with the attached restaurant (Jazzboline). Would have liked to try the attached restaurant, but yelp reviews made it sound terrible. (I depend on yelp reviews). We stayed in the courtyard room behind the main building. Windows do not open and no pool. We were traveling through town and stayed one night. Kinda glad it was just one night...the area was just okay. Not much in walking distance more of a city residential area. Overall, it is was a very pleasurable and nice stay.

Glad we went with them, as they certainly did not disappoint! Great communication -- quick response time and addressed all my questions and concerns. Willing to accommodate last minute pick-ups if able. They were able to provide same day booking/reservation confirmation when I emailed them the morning of for an afternoon transport, which I was *very much* grateful for (thank you, Kristina!!). Fair pricing for the level of service you get. Of course, a private car service of this calibur is going to cost a little more, but it's well worth it, because the car's very clean and well-cared for; the driver we had (shout-out to Mike!) was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about th Niagara area/Canada and life in general lol; we got provided with door-to-door service -- we felt like VIPs when we got picked up and dropped off in their black Lincoln Town car.
