Probably the best tour I have taken. They bring the cemetery to life with tons of stories of the history of Buffalo and its residents.

5 Star Niagara Falls Tours - Maid of the Mist. What a splash of experience!

5 Star Niagara Falls Tours

Tour date was 6/15. Steve was fantastic, great energy, had a lot of history to share on the falls,…read moreand did a great job keeping the group together. I really like how the folks who organized the tour make it a point to talk to all the folks in the group to try and get to know where everyone is from and a little about the family. It felt personable and not like you're another body on their tour but that they genuinely want to know where their "guests " are from; not just another customer. I would recommend their tour to anyone looking to do one. Maid of the mist was the coolest experience! What a view of all the falls. Would recommend a camera with a handle of some sort. Horseshoe falls was windy and wet! I was worried about dropping my phone. A lot of people start pushing to get to the railing of the ship. Not everyone on the boat is from your tour group. We got on the boat and stood by the side rail of the boat to get the view. My son and I were standing there by ourselves and people start filling in. As you get close to the falls people push you out of the way to try and squeeze in to get their photo. We were literally pushed out of the way. Hence the reason I was worried about dropping my phone. Cave of the winds also an experience but not what I was expecting. Maybe I didn't do my research but, I thought it was something different. The staircase down to the falls was pretty cool, you really get a glimpse of how powerful the falls are. You're right up there next to the American fall, it was very wet and windy. I got a little nervous, if you drop anything, it's gone. Hard to take pictures with hurricane force winds and the amount of water coming at you. Definitely suggest a camera with some sort of a handle or something. Saw a certificate in a gift shop that said I survived the hurricane winds of cave of the winds...had I have known it was going to be what it was I might have chosen not to do this part of the tour. But at the same time it was a pretty cool experience. I have no regrets doing it, just wasn't expecting to get blasted and soaked by the falls!

Toronto Free Walking Tours - The tour guide's binder with a map of the walking tour route

The well-trained your guide Chloee had a binder of relevant photos and graphics. This tour is an extended "show and tell" experience. The walking pace was moderate, and the guide's voice (using a portable speaker) was audible throughout the tour. We learned about Toronto's history, geography, name, culture, and diversity. Chloee made herself available to answer questions one-on-one and also in the whole-group context. She included some suggestions for follow-up activities, including a visit to Graffiti Alley. We visited that site the same day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This tour was absolutely fantastic and so much fun. This is a must do when visiting Toronto! I saw some of the most beautiful sites and learned wonderful history facts on the buildings and landmarks throughout the tour. My favorite was the amazing St. Lawrence Market! If you want to feel like you're getting your own personalized tour of a fantastic city and want to learn local tips about the Toronto food and drink scene then this is the tour for you. Luckily we had time to do a beer tasting and sake tasting too! I highly recommend this tour, I'll be back!

Anyway, Jim, the tour salesguy assured us that the tours would cost more when we got to our hotel. As we were staying at the Marriott Fallsview (which is is not cheap) we had already said we would try and cut down on other "luxuries". Jim was right, the hotel tours were more expensive. We paid $84.97 total pp for a 4 hour tour which included Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, and a few other stops. Nick, our tour guide picked us up on time and he was wonderful. Lots of jokes-- some were funny, the ones that weren't were still funny b/c they were cheesy. Overall, a great and informative guy--even told us where to get good, cheap food. Now, why is it cheaper than the other tours? While everyone else is riding around in the comfort of a climate controlled bus or one of those modern mini-bus/vans, we were shoveled into a white (off white due to age) 14 passenger dodge van. Yes, the regular old style dodge van. No climate control -- it was either too hot or when we opened the window to get air, the draft was killing me. I didn't say anything about the draft b/c I had already asked for the window to be opened. Stepping in and out of the van you could see massive rust. Seats were not comfortable b/c remember, you're in an old van. The saving grace of this tour was the great and informative tour guide, who also doubles as the driver, Nick, and the cost.

Awesome driver. He picked us up at our camp site and dropped us off. No hassle. Hit all the spots…read moreat Niagara Falls including the lights at night.
