We live down in Florida. We have a had a little bit of everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong with any selection. Also the views are beautiful. Our table is by a window and it is so relaxing. This is a farm to table restaurant. The menu is seasonal so there's always something new. -Pot Roast Poppers -New England cheese board -New England clam chowder -Gibbet hill salad & Classic Cesar -Filet Mignon & Porterhouse These are a few of our favorites. Can't forget to add your steak add ons mine is truffle butter and hubby likes blue cheese butter and we both love bone marrow butter. Oh la la so delicious. Lastly the sides are a must with mashed Yukon gold potatoes + Mac & cheese. People please do not skip dessert.

Wow. I got food poisoning after eating here on a Sunday evening. Nothing was fresh as advertised…read more The complimentary cornbread was literally cold. My husband and I came from out of state for an event and decided to stop here for dinner based on reviews. We drove in from Marlborough, but traveled from Texas. I should have leaned on Yelp, because the google reviews were much more positive. I've never had food where literally everything tasted like water or vegetables tasted like they'd been out overnight. I think the vegetables were rancid and that they're trying to keep ingredients longer than normal since the season is changing. We spent nearly $200 and ordered the following hoping the food would get better or that we ordered the wrong thing.: - the crab spinach dip (salty) (3/5) - 6 oz filet mignon (no flavor), (2.5/5) - 4 Jumbo Shrimp Topping (great), (5/5) -Yukon mash, (4/5) -Mac n Cheese, (Bland) (2/5) -Bok choy (super greasy, just butter) (2/5) -Roasted mushrooms, (3/5) -Roasted Chicken (tasted like water), (2/5) -Risotto (came with chicken, tasted like water), (1/5) -Vegetable Medley (rancid?), (0/5) -Cup of Clam Chowder (no flavor), (1/5) -Dessert (Chocolate Chip Cookies + Milk), (3/5) I've just never had such terrible food. It's always weddings happening here, so maybe that's all the revenue they need. I would never come back here. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Unfortunately my stomach has been messed up all day because of this terrible restaurant.

Man, do I feel like a friggin' dingus! Driving up to the location of this lovely establishment…read moreproved to be nothing shy of slightly misguided. I blame Google Maps for this (not the restaurant) because it had me turn directly into the EXIT lane! Yeah. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late. Couldn't do a three point turn. Couldn't just reverse out of there and try again. So, I sheepishly drove my car at a snail's pace up the wrong way whilst veering as far to the right side as I could. Passed like 3 cars. Yep. I'll likely beat myself up over that one for years to come. Anyways, welcome to my Prime at Sky Meadow review! :D So, wifey and I share the same birth month. Every year, we choose a bougie restaurant to have what we call a combined birthday dinner together. Tired of always going to Ruth's Chris every other year, we decided to see what the locale had to offer. One thing led to another and...we ended up booking a res at Prime. Walking in, we're immediately greeted with an aura of elegance. The entrance consists of a grand standing lobby featuring a self playing piano, adding to the opulent atmosphere. We were able to get a table within mere seconds after they verified our reservation. The dining room LOOKS nice and has a great view, from what I understand (it was dark that evening, so we couldn't enjoy the view). Too bad I can't say the same for the acoustics. Out of the many fine dining restaurants I've visited in my life, Prime may possibly be one of the noisiest. I think it's because the tables are too close together. Which means you can almost hear entire conversations at the table next to yours. It's why I never travel in public without at least one pair of earbuds. Misophoniacs UNITE!! XD Now, I'd like to give a shout out to the waitress who took care of us that evening (I really wish I didn't suck with names so much). Service was stellar, overall. After receiving our drinks, we ordered the following.. Appetizers: Got the crab cake and clam chowder. Now, I just need to mention...our waitress had us at, "it's pure crab, no breadcrumbs". Both our eyes lit up as I said, "Yup. We'll take it!". Guys. I gotta tell ya....not a lot of restaurants can make a crab cake properly. Yet, Prime nails it! This thing was f#*!ing delicious! I dare say it may possibly be the greatest crab cake one can buy anywhere in the state of NH. And I will stand by that claim until or unless I discover better elsewhere. The clam chowder is in a league of its own. I often say how the very best chowders are the ones you don't have to add any additional seasoning to. This one totally slaps! Creamy, savory, made with REAL fresh clams. The cheesy bread they give on the side pairs brilliantly with the chowder as well. Solid 10 out of 10 for both apps! Mains: Wifey and I stuck with our favorites, getting a filet and ribeye, respectively. Describing the taste of these should be brief, since they seem to season all their steaks the same way. While the temperatures were absolutely spot-on, they could have used a bit more seasoning for our preference. However, we didn't see the need to send them back and just sprinkled some salt over the steak instead. Ch'yeah! Forgot to mention...this is one of the few fine dining restaurants that actually leaves the salt and pepper shakers on the table. Inconceivable! :o Got the lobster mac & cheese as the sharable side. And, uh....I think we were totally spoiled by RC's version of this. Because what Prime does here is....unique. The cheese (which I STILL cannot identify yet) was so mild, I truly believe the chefs were going for a subtle flavor. If done properly, it can actually give a delectable impression to the palate. Few extra dashes of salt, the whole thing was quite tasty! My one complaint here though: lobster meat was lacking. Normally, the ratio should be something like 70/30, macaroni's favor. This version was more like...85/15. Side's an 8 out of 10; steaks would both be a 9 out of 10. Dessert: Last, we have the peanut butter pie. I decided to take this one home, since I already felt like a pregnant whale by this point. Simply put, this pie was nothing short of sublime. Rock hard chocolate frosting aside, this was a 9 out of 10 for me. It's worth noting an 18% service fee is automatically charged to your total bill. So, take that into account when tipping. I'm not totally sure why they do this regardless of party size. Nevertheless, we made sure to close the gap, so to speak, on the gratuity by adding in an additional 7%. Service was just that good! Whilst I'd love to be able to give this place a perfect score, I honestly can't when considering the noisy ambiance of the dining area and lack of lobster portioning in their mac & cheese. That's not to say, however, that Prime is anything short of an amazing dining experience. I'm giving Prime at Sky Meadow 4 stunningly sweet chocolate peanut butter pies that melt in your mouth, not on your fork, out of 5.

I appreciate the fact they allowed us to be seated at different time as the second car was ten minutes behind. We started with a few drinks and took our time looking over the menu. Sarah was nice enough to give us insight on the portion size. All of the sides are shareable for 3-4 people. Even a few of the main dishes you can share amongst two people. The standout menu items were Miso Sea Bass, Ribeye, and mac and cheese. That Sea Bass was beyond amazing. Aside from the food our waitress was amazing, she was the queen at small talk. She had a wonderful attitude and was on top of our drink orders and brought the food out in a timely manner. The manager Felix was also such a delight. You can tell he loves his job and people! Made the graduates feel extra special especially with the comped desserts. (Thank you for remembering the nut allergy.) Such a lovely experience. Expect to pay around $75 - $125 depending on the main course and drinks. Thankful this is the location we choose to have a celebration dinner. Highly recommend for people visiting out of town and locals looking for a nice meal. Overall STRONG 5/5 stars!

Nashoba Valley -- An Enchanting Afternoon Among the Vines, Followed by an Unforgettable Evening!…read more Some places offer a wonderful meal. Others offer beautiful surroundings. And then there are those rare destinations that bring together exceptional food, gracious hospitality, breathtaking scenery and unexpected little moments of delight. Nashoba Valley is one of those places! We visited last week, a party of four, and what began as a leisurely lunch turned into an absolutely magical afternoon and evening. From dining beside the grapevines and wandering through the apple orchards to wine tasting and an exquisite dinner, every part of our visit was a pleasure. Our first stop was The Knoll, where we settled in for lunch surrounded by the beauty of the vineyards. The sandwiches were excellent, and our server was an absolute delight--warm, cheerful, attentive and always smiling. But the highlight of our afternoon was something entirely unexpected. As we sat enjoying our lunch, we noticed the grapevines nearby. When we learned that we were welcome to pick and taste the grapes directly from the vines, we were thrilled! These were the tiniest, sweetest little grapes, bursting with natural sweetness. There we were, four adults, having the most marvelous time plucking grapes straight from the vines and savoring every bite. It was such a simple pleasure, yet it became one of the most memorable moments of our visit. There is something wonderfully indulgent about enjoying nature's bounty right where it grows! After lunch, we took a leisurely stroll through the beautiful orchard, admiring the apple trees and picking a few apples along the way. The grounds were lovely, and the entire experience had that unhurried, quintessentially New England charm that makes an afternoon in the countryside so special. Our next stop was wine tasting, another thoroughly enjoyable experience and a lovely way to spend the afternoon before heading to J's Restaurant for dinner. And what an extraordinary way to end the day! J's is an absolute gem. From the outside, the rustic farmhouse has an understated, old-world charm. Step inside, however, and you discover an interior that is cozy, elegant and stunningly beautiful. It strikes that wonderful balance between refined dining and the warmth of a country home. The atmosphere is inviting and intimate, without a hint of pretension. The dinner itself was phenomenal. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The quality of the food, the presentation and the attentive hospitality made for a truly memorable dining experience. By the time we finished our meal, we were so delightfully satisfied that we simply couldn't contemplate dessert. But J's had one final surprise in store for us! We were told that the owner has a charming tradition for guests who don't order dessert. Moments later, out came the most whimsical little treat: complimentary cotton candy, beautifully presented in elegant glasses! It was completely unexpected, wonderfully playful and such a delightful gesture. After an exquisite dinner, this little flourish brought smiles to all our faces. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already exceptional evening. What impressed me most about Nashoba Valley was the genuine warmth and hospitality we encountered throughout our visit. From our lovely server at The Knoll to the gracious service at J's, everyone made us feel welcome. There is an unmistakable sense of pride and care here, not only in the food and wine but also in the experience they create for their guests. Nashoba Valley is so much more than a winery or a restaurant. It is a destination to be savored. Come for a leisurely lunch, linger among the vineyards, wander through the orchards, enjoy a wine tasting and finish with a beautiful dinner at J's. Better still, bring your friends and family and make an entire day of it, as we did. We arrived expecting a pleasant afternoon in the countryside and left with wonderful memories, full hearts and very full stomachs! An absolutely enchanting experience from beginning to end. We cannot wait to return!

I wish the charcuterie board had included some apple slices. I think the wine tasting price has gone up since last year, though we didn't partake this time. It was a beautiful day, service was friendly, and we also went apple picking, which was a great experience and actually a steal compared to some of the other orchards in the area. I was unfortunately too full of food and apples to try a cider donut, and wish we had taken some home!

My husband and I are both vegetarian and good food obsessed, so when we first started planning our wedding, we knew good food was a top priority. It was important to us to have a vegetarian wedding that was delicious and vegetable-focused (and not just boring pastas or tofu steaks). We also knew that lots of our guests were meat-eaters and we wanted to make sure everyone walked away excited about the food. Well, Saltbox completely pulled it off. They worked patiently with us at every step. We gave them the adjective "Ottolenghi-esque" at the beginning and a few other notes about our taste, and they ran with it from there, delivering a draft menu that was amazing and then revising it according to our feedback. Throughout, they were easy to work with and extremely professional, and they pulled off of the details on the day beautifully, with everyone leaving happily stuffed and thrilled. (They even accommodated our gluten-free and dairy-free guests with delicious alternatives.) The waitstaff was also fantastic and helped ensure that my husband and I got enough to eat amidst all the busy-ness and dancing. Now, just a few weeks later, we are constantly hearing from friends and family about how great the food was (the best they've ever had by some accounts), asking for Saltbox's name, and remarking about how they completely forgot that they were eating vegetarian for the night because every dish was so delicious. I have been to lots of weddings and frankly, most of the food is not memorable. Saltbox's food absolutely was.

We could not have asked for a better farm to table event than the one we got with Saltbox Farm. We're already brain storming holiday parties so that we can work with them again!

Well, we had stayed in Worcester after going to another concert the previous night and needed some things to do in between. Enter Cold Harbor. I ordered the Pumpkin Ale as it's that season and loved the malty spicy balance. They had a gluten-free pizza that had sausage and ricotta. The crust was bomb! Very nicely cooked with nice globs of ricotta making it more tasty. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. At one point I think she got placed outside and it was difficult to get her towards the end, but we figured it out. I liked the pumpkin beer so much, I decided to try a flight. I ordered all pale ales/ipas. They were a bit too wet with hops and one of them gave me a little hop burn. The flavor profiles were good though. I walked out with a pack of Ravenna and Pumpkin Ale. I would definitely like to go again!

Impressive contrast between the patty's crusted exterior and still-juicy interior. Arguably overdone on the outside, but I'll take that all day every day as long as the juiciness is there. Moderate amount of butter on the Texas toast standing in for rye. Somewhat-traditional condiments, but with a few liberties taken (caramelized onion, cheddar jack, bacon). Not elite, but solid enough job and probably among the better patty melts I've had on my recent quest. -- CH Cheeseburger: Tried twice, this wasn't just a good cheeseburger for the 'burbs or a good cheeseburger for a brewery. This is a good cheeseburger, period, and a very good one. The first thing I really like about it is that it's a thick, full-size patty, and not the overexposed smashburger that's made the thick ones nearly extinct. The second is that they understand and deliver on the concept of textural contrast: crusty exterior and pink, very juicy interior. They also season it just enough to notice, butter that griddled bun just enough to notice, and don't screw up the vegetable additions. The cheese is there but unremarkable. The bun is soft and flexible. Overall, one of the best burgers in MetroWest and Worcester. -- Fries: The frozen variety, neither great nor horrific. They got the job done. -- Beer: I like their offerings, led by their flagship Juice Freak, served properly in attractive glassware. I have other breweries with beers I love, but none of them has a burger I love, and I'm already falling in love with this one. Service was excellent every time, once at a table and twice at the bar. Note: If you use Siri to get directions here by name rather than address, she'll tell you that they've closed, but that's because they moved recently. They're open.
