A few times, and enjoyed it both times. The first time I probably had one of their bowls and a mixed drink after seeing a movie in the cinema next door. Last night I had the steakhouse burger (partner had the same) with sweet potato fries and a glass of their house red. All very good, I would gladly come back for these items. My partner was also happy with his meals both times. The service was wonderful! It was a crowded Friday night, and the bar was full, but we were able to order our wine right away thanks to the attentive bartenders. I generally like Tavern on the Square in it's different locations. The menu is interesting with lots of options. I especially like the bowls, like the salmon bowl. There is also a cool vibe like an upscale sports bar. Unfortunately, the food in Littleton was terrible and the service a bit unfriendly. My favorite salmon bowl had overcooked dry salmon, barely any avocado (like only a few tiny cubes) and the sauce was just dumped on it. It was marginally edible. The usually friendly service was not. I tried to get the attention of one waitress from the adjacent table to all ask a simple question. She walked by me twice without stopping. And, on the third time, she told me "I can't help you I'm not your server." The restaurant management needs to come here and up the game. read more

Both were disappointing choices as each lacked a flavor worth tasting or remembering as distinct. Food was meh both for me and my friends selections. I enjoyed a couple drinks here around 4pm on a Saturday. It was not crowded and I sat at the bar. I walked over from the gym, it's in a good area with other shops and restaurants. They have an extensive drink menu with seasonal cocktails as well as standard beer/wine. I started with the campfire espresso martini and it was delicious- deliciously chilled, nice jolt of espresso and a couple mini marshmallows to top it off. I also had a glass of Riesling, it's nice that they do 6 and 9 oz options. The place was decorated for the holidays which I always love seeing. And staff was pleasant/attentive. I was walking around the area because we stayed over here for one night and found this spot and decided to come grab a drink and an appetizer before heading into the city. If I lived here this would definitely be a go to spot for me, everything on the menu sounded so good it was hard to decide what to order because I wanted to try everything. I hung out at the bar and enjoyed an espresso martini and I ended up getting their house chips with ranch dip that was super good! It came with their house chips that had buffalo seasoning on them as well as carrots and celery. It was a really refreshing dip. Both bartenders that were working were super friendly. This was just excellent! My husband had the Mesquite chicken bowl which was fantastic. Tasty and varied with lovely crunchy noodles. I had a crispy chicken sandwich, juicy and absolutely delicious, and the rosemary Parm fries which were absolutely phenomenal! I ate until I couldn't eat any more! If we lived closer I would return frequently! Server Cassandra was lovely and even indulged my desire to have my wonderful cocktail just a tad sweeter, making it absolutely perfect! The restaurant is in a plaza with a bunch of other little shops. There's plenty of parking. They have all the tvs on showing different football games, so it's the perfect spot to watch all the games. Our server was nice and got our order in fast. I got the house sangria and the fish tacos. We also got the tater tot appetizer. The food was all very good! read more

Came here during the holiday season (2 days after Christmas) and the place was quite packed - I would only recommend coming if you had a reservation or are okay waiting a bit. We got here earlier than our time and had to wait a bit which was fine. They seated us a bit later than our designated time and then took a few minutes to even get us some waters - service definitely felt like it was lacking a bit. The menu had a good selection of apps and entrees which was nice. The starters were a little disappointing honestly - nachos felt very disproportionate for chips to toppings, the crab cake was too small, and the sprouts were a bit too salty. The pasta I got was also a little lacking flavor wise, but portion wise it wasn't too bad - I had enough to save for another meal the next day. Dessert was honestly pretty good, I liked the cookie and thought it was a good size. Food in general was super slow and the water refills were also lacking - honestly, not a great meal. Overall, I had an okay time. I probably wouldn't come back if I had a choice - mediocre food and slow service. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and were seated promptly. It was great to see that there was no wait! They gave us the regular menu and we waited a while until our server came up to us so that we could clarify if they still have brunch. And the answer is yes, they only have brunch until 2:30 pm and had given us the wrong menu. Funny, nobody acknowledged their mistake. We were very hungry to begin with and this delayed our brunch by another 15-20 mins. The stars are only for the food because while it took some time to arrive, everybody enjoyed what they ordered. The fish and chips were both fried well, crispy and the fish was fresh and tender. The tartar sauce and slaw were tasty but had extremely small portions, especially the slaw which was served in an container meant for a dipping sauce. The pancakes with the strawberry rhubarb compote were tasty and not overly sweet. The brunch bowl was also good and a large portion. Overall, the food was great, service was ok, the server didn't seem to happy to see us but hey what can ya do. read more

Delicious, diverse, and WAY bigger than we expected. If you go here, no matter who you are or what you enjoy, they have something for you. The service was not the fastest I've ever experienced, but certainly quick, so don't let those 3 stars turn you away! We sat outside, and even in June, the temperature was great, so I would recommend their outdoor or patio seating. They always have music playing, and all over it was a great experience. My family and I went here for brunch on Sunday and it was pretty packed! We were seated quickly though which I can appreciate. There's definitely a lot of space to accommodate large parties like ours (8+)! This is definitely more of a casual spot, if you're looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite. I was disappointed to find that a lot of the menu items I found here on Yelp were no longer offered, which is why I took a star off. So i ended up choosing this brunch bowl which was pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised at that. As for the second star being removed, I was expecting that in 2024, there are more turkey/chicken options when it comes to breakfast. I ended up having to get the pork sausage, but having meat alternatives should be the standard. I also got a pancake which isn't pictured that was also good! It was fluffy! Located in the cutest outdoor plaza of restaurants, hotels, movie theaters, super markets, and stores, there's plenty of parking when you come here. We online ordered 4 meals with some sides and was given an estimated time for when everything should be ready. We arrived a little before our time and not only were there no mess ups with our large order, but when we went to pick it up, it was a super easy handoff. No extra waiting inside or anything. So quick! Now for the food: I ordered their Mac and cheese and it came in massive platter!!! I was expecting the usual takeout portion... portions being enough for one serving of it and then maybe some leftover. Here, it was like 3 or 4 meals worth from my one mac and cheese order! It was creamy, cheesy, delicious and topped off with a breadcrumb layer that added a slight crunch to every bite. While attending a lacrosse tournament in Devens, we decided to try this restaurant. We did a horrible job planning the number of people that might be joining us. The hostess was so incredibly patient with us. She let us know that we would not be able to sit together and we would have separate waitresses which of course make sense (there were over 20 of us). After dining in with a girlfriend, I will never be returning. This review has nothing to do with the food which was delicious. It has everything to do with the weight staff, which is unbelievably undesirable. I normally don't do reviews so this is going out of my way to do so. I'll take a little blame as far as moving from a middle table to a booth. The waitress immediately was annoyed and asked us if we had been seated. I had explained that the table that we were sat at that we didn't feel comfortable, so we switched to this booth and we hoped it wasn't a problem. She proceeded to school us and tell us that that section was closing. (which people were sat after us so it wasn't closed ). We were very nice to her. There was no reason to then attack us for the rest of the night. When we had asked for a check because she had never come. We asked of the girls to check us out. (Handed another waiter, our credit card) they brought it to our waiter. (shatarra). She brought it back and slammed it on the table with my credit card and walked off. We had no way of signing our check! So at this point I went to the front desk. I saw our waitress then run behind reception desk, to get the scoop on what I was doing and ran into the kitchen to speak to the manager before the manager came out. I was so upset I was shaking. I have never had such bullying action in all my life. My suggestion to Melissa, the manager would be to separate these packs of young women that clearly have nothing else to do but to bully their clientele. I will never be returning. They do have several twists to a standard menu, like the burger options. Burger is something that shouldn't never go wrong. But they manage to screw it. If someone don't mention how well they want the burger cooked, their can be two meanings - 1. Assumption that they want it medium. 2. They expect you will ask them how well they want it to be cooked. But here they have their own third option - assume that they want it well done! I don't know how and why they would do this. Anyway.. hence, 3 stars. We decided to give this place a try as my little one wanted to get some ice cream after his swim class nearby. First off, we love our waitress Reva- she is so wonderful! She checked in on us, made sure that we had everything we needed- and if the food was delayed she made sure that we were aware- but the food all came out rather quickly. The food was great! I got the fish tacos, my husband got a juicy cheeseburger and my little one obviously got ice cream and his Mac and cheese. We love the ambiance, the service was amazing and the setting was open and we weren't too close to others that we felt cramped. They had sport games on the TV which was nice. I ordered the pickle chips for the table and they were alright, it wasn't as crispy as I thought and overly battered. I ordered the steak and mashed potatoes. The steak was nothing crazy and slightly over cooked when I asked for it medium. Besides that the mashed potatoes were actually so good. Staff was very nice and welcoming right off the bat, they asked if I had a seating preference and was sure to meet my needs. I went for the outside patio seating which is nice but a little chilly, they offered to switch up my seating as well and that was very nice. The music was a bit weird to me personally but played at a good volume as to not overpower conversation. Started my meal with the spiced mango Daiquiri, it was perfect mix of sweet and hot with a nice bite at the end, I highly recommend. For an appetizer I got the Belgian pretzels with the cheese sauce, the pretzel's were soft and warm and perfect! The cheese sauce was a little less melted than I would have wanted but delicious none the less and the side of apple slices really helped to cut the savoryness of the two. For my entree I got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, spice was amazing, toppings so complimentary and fries were perfect. I love this sandwich! A group of 7 of us stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. The place is really cute, we sat in an enclosed outdoor space which was really nice. The menu was different than traditional tavern food & I was excited to get my sweet & spicy Thai chicken salad. The downside was that was waited an hour for our food. There were 7 of us, but 3 were kids and all ordered pasta, the place was also pretty slow. The people seated around us came after us & finished their meals before we were served ours.. Overall the food was honestly SO GOOD (I'm still thinking about that salad) but their service was sloooow even during Sunday lunch hour.
