My platform wait amounted to only a few minutes and once inside the mostly empty car I took my seat, flipped open my book and was quickly enveloped in the delicious air conditioning. Not at all aware the 2 takes an outdoor and elevated route, I was thrilled to absorb the panaromic views from two stories above. All concrete and brick, tar and blacktop -- all of which I have grown to lothe, now became a welcome sight, a feeling of comfort quickly came upon me. The ride itself is a tad bumpy and rickety but is some odd way, adds to the experience in a positive way.

This is the car of the train that I was on

"If you see something, Say something" we've all heard this before, yes? So this past Monday I was on the 2train headed uptown and upon entering the train, I noticed a BIG square something in What appeared to be a gray laundry bag. I looked around to see if anyone has noticed it. Of course everyone had their faces in their phones but i believe they were aware because no one sat anywhere near it. I felt very uneasy about it n so I made it business to walk down several cars to inform the conductor amd I showed this pic. She just nonchalantly said "ok I'll let them know" I thought there would've be some announcement or something but NOTHING. I waited 3 stops and asked are they gonna check it out. She replied with lots of attitude "Ms. I Already called it in!!" Smh I always thought it would be URGENT. I guess not

Always delay...especially when you need to be somewhere. They should give us free rides for every time we're inconvenience.

On the same block, M15 local bus was there but they stop exact at the corner. Everyone missed it. it's easy to get to far away, however; on the weekends, we'll never know how long you have to wait. In the summer is ok to wait but do not try during the winter time. It will be freezing here in NYC! Try to use text 511-123 and use the code. App isn't working properly.

You must purchase a ticket before you board. All three doors open making for speedy boarding and disembarking of passengers. Keep your receipt after you buy your ticket. Sometimes a MTA Employee will be at a stop checking to see if passengers paid. The fine for not paying is hefty! The buses are new and have been clean when I ride. Passengers are not as crazy as I remember in the past on this route. I like that this bus stops right on my corner. Especially when I have shopping bags. All major intersections have a bus stop along this route. You need to use your Metro Card to buy the fare. Read all the instructions before you attempt to use this service. Much like all NYC Public Transportation there's lots of rules and regulations. I'm still a fan of faster service. If you're going very far, or out when it's 20 degrees wind chill, you should ride! Check out my photos.

The 7th Ave Line Local 1 train services here during the day, and the 2 also stops when it runs Local a night. The station's easy to use with a in-station transfer crossunder and having ADA-compliant accessibility. As one of the 28 stations in the original 1904 IRT lines, decades before the Lincoln Center was built and it was only just the 66th St. Station in the San Juan Hill section of town, you'll find the original ceramic trim maintained along the top of the platform walls. Enjoy this station's colored glass mosaic murals which decorate the walls with dramatic characters appearing to perform for passengers, including an often repeated diva in a golden hooded full length robe, which captures the light - as it should for a diva! They are what I normally catch through my train window as my Express train speeds by. In 1999, giving a nod to the Lincoln Center's dedication to the performing arts, MTA installed artist and activist Nancy Spero's "Artemis, Actobats, Divas and Dancers." This work immortalizes the period musicians, actors, dancers, acrobats, and other classic performers doing what they do best - put on a show! Better to check out close up when you're at this stop!
