You must purchase a ticket before you board. All three doors open making for speedy boarding and disembarking of passengers. Keep your receipt after you buy your ticket. Sometimes a MTA Employee will be at a stop checking to see if passengers paid. The fine for not paying is hefty! The buses are new and have been clean when I ride. Passengers are not as crazy as I remember in the past on this route. I like that this bus stops right on my corner. Especially when I have shopping bags. All major intersections have a bus stop along this route. You need to use your Metro Card to buy the fare. Read all the instructions before you attempt to use this service. Much like all NYC Public Transportation there's lots of rules and regulations. I'm still a fan of faster service. If you're going very far, or out when it's 20 degrees wind chill, you should ride! This was my 1st time taking this train to the last stop I wanted to get to the Bronx via the 3 train at 145th st. and then transfer onto the 19 bus to cross the bridge. I messed up. I stayed on to 148 by mistake and had to take the downtown 1 stop for 145th. The conduct did announce that only the first 5 cars would open at 145th st. yet did not give a newbie like myself time to count the cars and run to the car I needed to be in and I ended up unable to get off and heading back downtown. Sad. Why announce what section of the train we need to be in if the doors are gonna close as soon as you do so?

Every morning it is freshly mopped and I want to be sure they know how appreciative I am and I spoke to others who agreed with me while we sat there. The delays getting across town have been nonexistent. I feel safe because masks are required and the customers are peaceful on this route. Everyone does their best to spread out. There are times when I rely heavily to get back and forth from the West Side of Manhattan. I like to shop on the West Side and my eye doctor is located on the West Side. Without the crosstown bus I would spend a lot of money on taxi cabs. Make sure you have a metro card for your fare. The buses do not take cash. This bus makes all the major stops across town and passes through Central Park. It's a nice ride for site seeing. I'm recommending.

After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response.
