19th hole
Van D.

The 19th Hole is located at El Prado Golf Course. While waiting for one of our colleagues to arrive, my other colleague and I decided to hide from the heat in this well air conditioned hidden gem. Even after our colleague arrived, we were still here for a little bit enjoying that AC. They have spaced out tables, a bar area and a few TVs around the bar. We enjoyed a few rounds of shots and beers. Ulysses who was helping us was great. You should let him know if you are enjoying it inside or outside in the golf course. The difference would be a glass cup or a plastic cup. I highly recommend their chilled Apple flavored Jack Daniels ($5/each). When we needed to take these outside, Ulysses was nice enough to put these in cups for me so I don't spill them. For the beers, we all had different beers ($6.50/each) from their tap: 805, Modelo and something from Golden Road. The cold beers were refreshing for the hot day. Great spot to stop by for drinks before, during and after your golfing adventures.

After a great 19 holes nothing better than the great service from Tina & Lauren and a nice cold beer. They have the best Burger in town

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

We got sat immediately, I went to the bar and checked w the bartender and she was equipped to make my new drink, the "New York Sour!" I ordered the wings, the carne en su jugo for my food. The wings were like chili lime flavored, it wasn't bad but not for me. The chicken wings were cooked really well, it would be dope if they did like mole wings or maybe like a pepita lime dry rub, the wings were there, I just wish they had more flavor options. The carne en su jugo was very good, I love frijoles, I'm a frijolero for real and it hit all the right spots for me. I rolled my corn tortillas up and I felt like I was home again. THE WAITRESS THAT ATTENDED TO US WAS THE BEST WAITRESS I'VE HAD IN THE WHOLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I can't recall her name but she was just the best with service and recommendations. She had to step away for a few minutes and she handed us off to another waiter, but the crazy part??? She came back! She saw our meal out to the end and handled her business. When it was time to pay the bill she had everyone separated by seat numbers, so that process was really stress free. Exceptional service 100/10. I also really like the photographer in the restaurant deal. I usually have only seen that in the club but it works well at the restaurant too. My only wish is that they offered a digital sale of the photos. We took some cool photos with our work group but we HAD to buy the physical copy and because we fly, it's hard to store those kinds of things. Amazing job! Visit here if you're thinking about it.

First, there is a photographer who insisted taking pictures of us, two at a time, with poses she insisted we do. When we tell her no, she continues to push for us to do it. Then she develops the pictures and put them in picture frames in front of us asking us to buy them. I really don't appreciate being sold extra "services" at a restaurant. I came to have a meal with coworkers, not to be sold extra stuff so the restaurant can make some more money. And when we ordered extra food to-go separately (we had separate checks), the waiter put all our food in one bag and didn't tell us. These were two identical burritos, but they put one in a plastic to-go box, and the other only wrapped with paper. When we told them these were for separate orders, the waitress brought over a paper bag for me to separate out my burrito. It just doesn't make sense why two identical orders should be done differently.

So I figured I'd go give it a try: Upon walking in, you're greeted with this lovely low light ambiance, no bright overhead lights and it feels smooth, relaxed. Definitely the type of feeling I got when I entered, our host and server Guri was very kind in getting me sat down. The menu had a lot of options, it was neatly styled and a few things pointed out to me which I ordered below... The crispy Okra.....AMAZING. It wasn't heavy on oil, came with some 3 very contrasting dipping sauces which each proved itself, a minty one, tangy, and a more savory tasting dip with diced veggies. Definitely an immensely good starter and I'd order it a million times over. The paneer was rich, creamy, had sweet notes to it, and you can order in different spice levels up to 7. I went with a 4, I'll be back to go to a 5 to up the kick, always play it safe first time trying a new place. To flush the food down, the Mango Lassi is an absolute MUST HAVE, with the thick mango flavored yogurt drink, it tastes like heaven in a glass cup. I was super happy with Guri's service, he was attentive, liked to talk to us about the food and was very passionate for the food as well. I'll definitely be back for more!

Mouthwatering food with tons of options…read more This is a place to try whether you are vegetarian or not. We went for lunch and it was busy but we were still able to get a table immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful and we loved how many options the menu had. The dry chili paneer was just the right spice for me and very flavorful. My husband enjoyed a masala. But hands down I loved the Frankie street food! We will definitely bring our friends back here!

Okay so I think most of the recent reviews get this...their service is garbage and non existent…read more Also don't get any cocktails...it took them 90+ minutes for them to get me the cocktail that I ordered. I honestly don't think it's worth coming here even if the food is not bad because their service is that atrocious. Some food is fantastic...others I'm rather meh about. Pani puri 4/5. Herbed potatoes and the sweet tamarind sauce are fantastic. The tangy water...it's not heavy enough in seasoning for my liking. When you bite into it it's like a fluffy crispy airy dough shell with the texture of boiled eggs but the flavor reminds me of samosas... Also the fried dough thing on top to add the extra crunch is nice Bombay vada pav - 5/5 soft pillowy potato bread with spiced potato fritter.. just yes. They give you additional chilli peppers which honestly are a little too spicy for me.... And the mint chutney is really spicy too.... But the tamarind sauce is tangy and more tart/ and different from the tamarind sauce w/ Pani puri. I absolutely loved this and this was the best thing on the menu. Stuffed mushrooms with cheese - 3.5/5 the cheese does cut into spice from other foods but it's not a dish i think is worth ordering. The tomato flavor is strong and I barely taste coriander or other spices because the tomato overpowered everything else. I don't know what biryani I had because it's not on the menu anymore as I'm writing the review as of 3.28.26 but that was a 2/5. That was terrible. Portion size fantastic but God .... Frozen peas carrots green bean mixture killed this. There was barely any spice or flavor. I genuinely was disappointed. Cocktail.. 0.5/5 It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes before I got my cocktail. Wtf why is it only one person knows how to make cocktails and why is that the person greeting people. Please get more and better staff so that they can actually be doing one job only. For reference I ordered the cocktail "vessel of shakti" and honestly... It gave me artificial candy strawberry daiquiri mix. The coconut water is lost in flavors. I did not taste like. Skip this. Just don't order cocktails because only 1 person knows how to make them. .5 only because the person making the drink was genuinely apologetic and busy. The service here is absolute shit. You can't flag people down, they'll ignore you if you're not Indian so rubbish service. But also the waiters seem really pissed off and don't want to be here. This experience was so bad I wouldn't even consider coming here even if the food was good. This restaurant is super over hyped for the experience and price.
