It's always such a relief when a server understands dietary restrictions and takes the time to make thoughtful recommendations. I ended up ordering the burger with gluten-free fries, since the chicken dishes contained garlic, and I'm so glad I did. The burger was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a cocktail made with Nolet's Gin, pineapple, and another ingredient I can't quite remember. It was garnished with a dehydrated pineapple slice and was light, refreshing, and full of flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and said it was perfect. He made sure to saved room for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed the bread pudding. From the attentive service to the delicious food and relaxing patio atmosphere, everything about our visit was excellent. We will definitely be back and highly recommend dining here!

He said it was good. No complaints. I ordered a salmon sandwich that had cole slaw and pickles on a brioche bun. It was very messy to eat. I think they should have used a more crusty bread, one that will hold the sandwich together. The sandwich fell apart on me and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. We asked for some hot sauce, but the waitress failed to mention that it wasn't free. Who charges for hot sauce anyway? We don't mind paying $1 for it, but at least warn us. Overall, this place had good vibes, the waitstaff was great and attentive and we didn't wait long for the check.

Hit it on a Sunday late afternoon, which turned out to be the move if you want a quiet early dinner. We ordered the grilled fish tacos, the beet salad, and the mushroom pizza, and everything was tasty. The fish was cooked right on, flaky and clean, with fresh pico on top. Plenty of food for the three dishes between us. Service was good and the staff was friendly without hovering. The space has a cool wood and corrugated metal look, with sports gear and brewery signs on the walls. There's a full bar with a solid beer list, a decent wine selection, and indoor or patio seating depending on your mood. Valet parking out front is a nice touch. Our server said Friday and Saturday nights get packed, with live music and good people watching, so the vibe shifts depending on when you go. Sunday afternoon was mellow and easy. If you want the energy, hit it on a weekend. If you want to actually hear the person across from you, go when we did. Going back to check out the live music for myself.

When we asked our waitress for silverware, she responded by asking if we needed more, even though none had been provided in the first place. We also had to ask for straws four separate times and never received them. When the appetizer plates finally arrived, they were still wet and we had to dry them ourselves before using them. Throughout the meal, our waitress rarely checked on our table, making it difficult to get anything we needed. While we enjoyed the food, the poor service made the overall experience disappointing. Unless there are significant improvements in service, we will not be returning.

Plenty of espresso drinks, freshly brewed coffee with cheap refills, and a pastry case that always has something worth grabbing. The breakfast menu holds up too. Avocado smash on sourdough and the farm fresh egg sandwich are both solid picks if you want more than a pastry. The space is the real draw. Indoor seating if you want quiet, plus a big covered patio out back with string lights, wine barrel tables, and heaters for the colder months. It's a pleasant place to sit and talk without feeling rushed. A few tips if you're heading over: get there early for the best seats, and street parking out front is free until 10am. After that you're hunting. Kitchen closes at 2pm, so plan accordingly. I've only ever come for the morning routine, but they've got a full bar with craft cocktails, draft beer from local breweries like Fieldwork and Altamont, and wine by the glass. The evening side is on my list. If you live in the area and don't have a regular coffee spot yet, make this it.

I love meeting friends here, but it's also one of the few places I genuinely enjoy going by myself because I always end up running into someone I know or meeting someone new while sitting at the big bar. The staff always makes me feel safe and welcome, too. They're always hosting fun events, it's a great place to watch sports, and I love that I can bring my dog along. I know some people are disappointed that Rotator is now required to be 21+ with the addition of wine, something many customers had been been asking for over the years. The owners are parents themselves, so I imagine this wasn't a decision they made lightly. Families with younger kids still have several great brewery options nearby. If you're looking for great beer, wine, friendly people, and a welcoming neighborhood hangout, it's hard to beat.

The outdoor seating area is delightful, clean, and well-shaded. Food is brought out but dishes are personally bussed. I got the cherry sour which was very sour and fruity - a little surprising (in a good way), delicious, and refreshing. I ordered the fish and chips but wanted a vegetable so I also got the melon and tomato salad. I'm a sucker for flan so I also had to try that. The fish and chips were perfect and piping hot and crispy. The salad was unfortunately a little disappointing; neither the melons nor tomatoes tasted very ripe so the whole salad was just a bit lacking in flavor. The flan also had a sliiiightly overcooked texture, but was overall pretty good, with a well-executed caramel sauce. Portions are also very generous!
