Hit it on a Sunday late afternoon, which turned out to be the move if you want a quiet early dinner. We ordered the grilled fish tacos, the beet salad, and the mushroom pizza, and everything was tasty. The fish was cooked right on, flaky and clean, with fresh pico on top. Plenty of food for the three dishes between us. Service was good and the staff was friendly without hovering. The space has a cool wood and corrugated metal look, with sports gear and brewery signs on the walls. There's a full bar with a solid beer list, a decent wine selection, and indoor or patio seating depending on your mood. Valet parking out front is a nice touch. Our server said Friday and Saturday nights get packed, with live music and good people watching, so the vibe shifts depending on when you go. Sunday afternoon was mellow and easy. If you want the energy, hit it on a weekend. If you want to actually hear the person across from you, go when we did. Going back to check out the live music for myself.

When we asked our waitress for silverware, she responded by asking if we needed more, even though none had been provided in the first place. We also had to ask for straws four separate times and never received them. When the appetizer plates finally arrived, they were still wet and we had to dry them ourselves before using them. Throughout the meal, our waitress rarely checked on our table, making it difficult to get anything we needed. While we enjoyed the food, the poor service made the overall experience disappointing. Unless there are significant improvements in service, we will not be returning.

There's plentiful inside seating and a comfortable shaded outdoor patio. There is a full bar that some folks were sitting at. We opted for the outside patio since we had our kids with us and they can be loud. Our server was kind and accommodating. She checked in often, but not in an invasive way. Everything here is farm to table, and tasted fresh. The oysters were delicious and so were the mussels which came with a delightful coconut broth and grilled bread. The kids enjoyed a fried chicken slider with fries. My favorite was the beet salad with goat cheese. It was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. This is definitely a spot to try with or without your kiddos. I would come back for dinner with the hubby.

It's become our go-to restaurant because of the delicious food, great outdoor seating, and most importantly the awesome team members who consistently do an amazing job.

Plenty of espresso drinks, freshly brewed coffee with cheap refills, and a pastry case that always has something worth grabbing. The breakfast menu holds up too. Avocado smash on sourdough and the farm fresh egg sandwich are both solid picks if you want more than a pastry. The space is the real draw. Indoor seating if you want quiet, plus a big covered patio out back with string lights, wine barrel tables, and heaters for the colder months. It's a pleasant place to sit and talk without feeling rushed. A few tips if you're heading over: get there early for the best seats, and street parking out front is free until 10am. After that you're hunting. Kitchen closes at 2pm, so plan accordingly. I've only ever come for the morning routine, but they've got a full bar with craft cocktails, draft beer from local breweries like Fieldwork and Altamont, and wine by the glass. The evening side is on my list. If you live in the area and don't have a regular coffee spot yet, make this it.

The two young ladies who helped my daughter and me were pleasant, friendly, and helpful apologies that I didn't catch your names! We also ordered a vanilla latte with sugar-free Torani vanilla (the absolute best!) and a matcha. The inside of the café is magnificent, but since it was such a beautiful day, we chose to sit outside, which was just amazing. The seating was very comfortable, and our food was brought out promptly. Thank you for the wonderful service and hospitality. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Really glad I did. It has the same great energy as the original but feels like its own thing too. The ambiance is really cool, the kind of place you just want to hang out at for a while. Tons of seating so we never felt cramped, and the crowd was super friendly and laid back. Also a great spot if you're a dog person because there were pups everywhere, which is always a good sign about a place. My bestie and I shared the brussels sprouts and wings and both were really good. My aunt got the fish tacos and loved them. Solid food that hits the spot. We also tried the Ossuary Porter and it was great, really smooth and easy to drink. Good selection overall! The kind of spot where you show up for one drink and end up staying way longer than you planned. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area and probably dragging my aunt along again.

A couple friends and I came for the dueling piano on a Friday night. Be sure to make a reservation online and note that a deposit is required for Fridays and Saturdays. 20% gratuity is included in the bill and the deposit is applied to your final bill as well. There's a small area near the bar for people without a reservation to stand. The pianists were fun and played a decent variety, but it also depends on the requests from the crowd. Love having dueling pianos in the area though! All the staff members we interacted with were very friendly and pleasant. Where the stars fall is with the food. Some of it was decent, some was a bit lacking in flavor. I had the Shepherd's Pie and felt that it was missing seasoning on the meat. Our table also shared Brussels sprouts which we felt were also lacking in flavor. However, feedback was decent for the Reuben sandwich, fries, and Irish stew. The coffee and donuts dessert had great flavor, we just hoped for the donuts to be soft/fluffy. They had more of a dense texture than expected. I did come back a second time to try the brunch and we had a lovely time but again the food had a couple misses. According to the menu the Bloody Mary should have come with shrimp but did not. I also requested sausage for my classic breakfast but was informed that they didn't have any. I opted for bacon, which was a little floppy for my liking. Anyway, I really like the concept and atmosphere at Gibson's and believe there is a ton of potential.
