In town visiting my sister. She brought me in having lunched here several times. We came for dinner. What a lovely restaurant! Excellent, attentive and friendly staff. Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. We went on Monday March 30 to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We drove up from beaufort for lunch. The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. While having enjoyed a supper before, yesterday was my first lunch at The 07. It didn't disappoint! We were kindly welcomed and escorted to our seats. The atmosphere was conducive to nice conversations without extraneous noise. The interior is thoughtfully decorated and modern. I met up here with family the day before Thanksgiving and they highly recommend this restaurant. I had the yuzu/truffle wings as am entree, the table shared the duck empanadas. My husband had oysters Rockefeller, my cousins had the quinoa fried chicken and the pork chop. The wings were a huge let down , there was no yuzu flavor and the wings were drenched in truffle oil which barely had flavor. It literally tasted like plain oily wings. The waitress recommended this dish and it made me question if she had tastebuds. My husband thought the grilled oysters were just okay. My cousin with the quinoa fried chicken said it was kind of weird- I tried a bite and agreed- quinoa needs to stay off fried chicken....great idea but it was a swing and a miss for us. She was very professional and gracious and even told us about the 4 different restaurants included in the 07 portfolio namely: The Abyss, The 07, The One5 and The 05. Cute place but you will be smashed in like sardines. We ended up doing appetizers which are delicious and shareable. We got the meatballs but honestly it's like a glorified Jimmy Dean sausage patty. Very good I have to admit but not your traditional meatball. We also got the chicken wings which were out of this world , we did chipotle bourbon. Don't miss these. They do have a really nice vegan vegetarian menu, which is awesome to see. Service was pleasant and good. My pet peeve charging me 3% for using my credit card, when two appetizers and a cocktail cost you 50 bucks! don't nickel and dime me folks. Truly the best filet mignon I've ever had! Excellent sear/crust on the outside and tender/juicy on the inside. The service was incredible; the staff here are very accommodating and considerate. The food is absolutely amazing, I must start off with saying that. The one thing that irritated me was the garage door was open (amazing weather outside) and that led to two mosquitos being around me. Outside of that one minor thing, I highly recommend this location for 3 dishes in particular. The oysters Rockefeller, shrimp ceviche and the pork chops. The shrimp ceviche is so delicious, I wish it had a little more kick to it for spice so that my upper lip could sweat however if it a great equal blend of savory and sweet. The pork chops, honestly might be the best I've had in a long time. The sweet pear diced up with Swiss chard on top of the goat cheese blend, it was absolutely perfect. This was my first time at 07. We had a reservation, which I strongly suggest. We were greeted and seated right away. Drinks and appetizers were placed. We truly enjoyed the meatballs( do not be alarmed when they come out flat, that is how they are served) and the pan con tomate. Flavorful and plenty for 4. Our entrees were, smoked lamb, which was unbelievably tender and delicious, the ribeye, cooked perfectly and the chicken, very good. All options came with sides included and were a large portion. We also tried the petite Brussel sprouts and side salad. Both good sizes and tasty. To finish we shared a banana pudding semifredo. Pacing for the meal was good, clearing of plates fine. A nice touch, they have a full vegan vegetarian menu printed on the back of the main menu. This is not a large restaurant but they do have a nice bar and plenty of outdoor seating. It gets loud in a hurry. *And just a personal preference, the emphasis here is on the food and it shows. it is all very well prepared and plated. Really enjoyed our visit. I got the lettuce wraps and was pleasantly pleased. Our waitress was super helpful and who I assume was owner or manager also stopped by to check on us often. We had a party of 3 and each of us enjoyed our meal. Very nice atmosphere. My only complaint would be it was kind of noisy. But as soon as a table of girls having some celebration, things seemed to be a little less noisy. I also had grits with collards(special veg of the day) and really enjoyed them. This is one of my favorite spots for brunch, lunch or dinner. They have a regular menu with tasty options and a vegan/vegetarian menu - equally as tasty! Service has always been kind and friendly. I have eaten inside where the tables are a little closer together than outside. I like both options! My favorite dishes include: any of the arepas, beets and whipped goat cheese, fried chickpea and arugula salad, fresh pasta and the frittata with artichokes for brunch. So...in an adventure for a new outing...we landed here and had no reservations but we took out chances and we were seated surprisingly quickly. And btw the bar was full!! We sat outside with a great little lamp...and comfortable weather... It was good unfortunately a little bit noisy from the busy Laurens road. Our waiter was kind and we got our drinks the margarita was fine but the crown and ginger ..was weak and flat ginger ale.... Unfortunately our waiter appeared to focus better on single tasks rather than multitasking and it was a bit hard to flag him down. Anyways .. our food--.see the pics -- the fried zucchini was crisp and thin crusted with a great dipping sauce and honey.. this was surprisingly very tasty and different The tuna nachos were good with sesame seeds and small cubes of tuna. It was good ... nothing special compared to other similar dishes.. just wasn't a "wow" dish. The shrimp soulvaki was good on skewers with a great mix of taziki sauce and roasted chicken peas . I did feel the shrimp was a bit overcooked but not awful. Anyways it was a good mix .. we did not get dessert .there was also a guitarist and he was good, pleasant and not too loud. Recently had a tremendous experience at The 07 when I visited SC. The food is sublime and the restaurant is well-appointed and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the Smoked Mushrooms and my brother and sister-in-law enjoyed their meals (Halibut and Salmon) as well. We cleaned our plates and left no crumbs. We also shared the Crispy Brussels Sprouts Salad (great recommendation by the very gracious waitress) and the Truffled Potatoes & Artichoke starter. Both are delectable. Without a doubt, The 07 is the best restaurant I've visited in quite some time (food, service, ambience) and will most definitely return whenever I'm in the area. read more

It all started at the 05, which is absolutely delish and also a couple blocks from my house, so I'm partial to going there for last-minute dinner plans. However, last night we went of our comfort zone to the 07 and it was excellent! The 2 apps and entrees we had were amazingly delicious! Jen and Tonic, behind the bar, is one of Greenville's BEST mixologists! The staff all working together to ensure a busy night ran smoothly and the location is perfect, close to downtown has free parking! The inside is beautiful and they also offer patio seating. It took me a day to write this, I wanted to give it some time for me to mellow... but I didn't. We have been to the 07 numerous times and generally has been great, yesterday it was awful....Not only service, but food too. Up front, the service was inattentive and aloof. We flagged her down to order and she was clearly put out to serve us. The food was 50/50... half great- half wedding service. Worse, the server didn't check on us for 30 mins...We shared with the server that the experience was poor, she thought we were kidding. The manager did credit the entrees- thank you, that was kind- but the server didn't have any empathy...that would have gone miles, and frankly I wouldn't have written this if she did. I get it's a tough job, I still tipped 20%, just disappointed. This was my daughter's 18th birthday.... Bummer. read more

I visited The 07 on December 14 for brunch with my best friend, my sister, her mom, and her soon-to-be mother-in-law to celebrate her saying yes to the dress--and let me tell you, this spot was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the place smelled absolutely delicious, and we were immediately seated. Our waitress (I so wish I had caught her name) was incredibly sweet and knew her stuff. She recommended a breakfast sandwich or burger, and I'm so glad I took her suggestion because it was 100/10 amazing! Of course, brunch wouldn't be complete without mimosas--10/10, no notes. The service, the food, the atmosphere--everything was perfect. Next time I go, I'll be sure to catch my waitress's name because she truly made the experience even better. We had never been there so we went for lunch on Thursday. It's a nice place, busy and a little challenging to park. My impression of that day was that it was way understaffed. Only one person working the front of house. It was about 40 minutes from the time we sat down until our main came out. The food was good, but not anything that I'd have again. Pretty bland overall.
