Our child's age is 17. Our child receives tutoring in a variety of subjects to include math, English, history, biology, Spanish, and test preparation. Mathnasium did not work for our daughter and after 4 weeks at that tutoring place, her math confidence had skyrocketed and her attitude towards math is much improved. You will get a lot of one on one attention, and communication about your child's progress at That Tutoring Place. The atmosphere is very relaxed and I think this has made my child's experience better. It's less intimidating and makes her feel comfortable. She loves that they have snacks and Gatorade too. There are kids of all ages studying and doing homework, and I think it is great for my elementary aged daughter to see high school students working away at their homework as well. My child's tutor, Ms. Sonia has been so patient and caring. I have seen so much parent communication from the owner and you can tell they really care about helping kids succeed, and treating children and adolescents with respect and care. After much frustration and alot of rip offs from these big tutoring places we were given Recommendations of " THAT TUTORING PLACE". It has been a God send. It is very affordable and its staff is awesome ! The place has real bones to its tutoring. When first called That Tutoring Place I had called 2 other tutoring places, one told me that they couldn't help us in our area and the other never called back!
