I felt that the teachers and principles saw my son as a person and sincerely tried to advise the best for him when it came to class sequencing. They were responsive to my questions and always got back to me. One year, when we were trying to decide which classes to take, one of the teachers even created a powerpoint specific to my son and scheduled a zoom conference so that the three of us could go over it together. I am grateful to RSM for making math fun for my son, when the public schools were not. Also, as a side note, there are some very excellent Chinese restaurants and a Mercury's coffee to eat at while waiting for your child during their math class!

He also looks forward to his Coding class every week, and I can already see how it's strengthening his logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With Huntington's help, my daughter got a 36 on her ACT after working with them for just two…read moremonths. I highly recommend Huntington in Issaquah for test prep. Huntington has a great system where your child takes a practice ACT and SAT with them, and based on the results, they make a study plan for whichever test plays to your child's strengths. I loved the flexibility in their scheduling and the ease of the process. My daughter met with her tutor once or twice a week, and they went over the homework he'd given her. Your child will have homework and will need to do it to improve. Will you be out of town here and there over the summer? No problem. They build the schedule around your availability. Here's my favorite part about Huntington. They let you take lots of practice tests that are actual ACT tests from prior years. (Lots and lots of tests!) Taking a dozen practice tests and going over them with the tutor is what really helped my daughter get that perfect score. Thank you to everyone at Huntington!

After a few short weeks we saw amazing results. Due to the distance between my home and facility I decided to wait it out in the lobby. These people are not ripping families off!!! It takes a village to treat not tutor children who can not read to in fact READ! They have a village of trained professionals involved. There is an educator who works one on one with your child, a person who is constantly watching over your child's progress, a person who has to manage the very complicated schedule, and someone to manage over it all. Nothing is perfect and sometimes things fall through the crack, that is the real world. Not that I am dismissing any frustration to the parent in the prior review. To a parent considering Lindamood Bell, no matter what you decide to do, remember you are going to have to pay someone to train your child to read so ask yourself why are kids learning to read in as little as 10 weeks while at Lindamood Bell? I love how the staff celebrate and reward all the children in the program on both small and large milestones. It is a happy place to be and I am forever grateful for the staff at Lindamood Bell.

If you read the Glassdoor reviews, the clinicians barely make any money here. With the amount of tuition paid, they should be making more. I'm not sure if this is a scam artist place, but 20k is very high for 10 weeks of service. After we did the 10 weeks, they were supposed to provide a summer reading list for my daughter, but the director never sent anything and I followed up and I didn't hear back. Once she realized I wasn't planning to send my kid during the summer, she didn't really care. So I'm wondering if it's just a money making place to try and rip off the people in Bellevue because they know it's a rich area. I'm still making payments. I was desperate to get help for my daughter who was struggling. Sad they are taking advantage of kids who are struggling to make money.

Doing simple addition for over a month was boring and my daughter lost interest and it became a nightly fight. We couldn't see staying as the next month was going to be simple subtraction and that was to long for us! I think that the program should be adjusted for those that start after 2nd grade - it might be ok if your kid is really behind or is really young. But I think the program could have been good, but my kid is so anti-kumon it's almost a 4 letter word! Also, the classes are a waste and just require you to drive and pick things up. Even my 9 year old was asking why we went as their is no instruction and little engagement. Online math programs that are self paced are probably better. One other thing. Their is a 6 week notice period. Which pretty much means your going to pay for two full months when you kid is ready to be done. If your in my situation that means 280 wasted dollars as I don't think I can get her back in for the final 6 weeks. I wish I'd cancelled sooner when I started having the problems, but the instructor insisted we keep trying.

St Monica did an amazing job preparing them for high school spiritually, socially and academically. Both my daughter and step son tested so well on their high school admissions tests that they started out in honors and all advanced classes. Both kids also found their accelerated math class to be too easy and went on their own to self advocate and move up to Honors Trigonometry where they are both excelling in at both Odea and Holy Names. I have received notes from various teachers letting me know how impressed they are with my kids, as they know how to study, take notes and ask for help when needed. The work ethic that St Monica instilled in my kids has helped them tremendously as they transitioned to high school and will continue to serve them as they continue to college. The confidence, leadership and discipline they learned to at St Monica has truly empowered them to be the best they can be. My kids have a love for their country, community and themselves. The classical education that St Monica provided has taught my kids to be critical thinkers and to truly analyze and see things from different perspectives. They also have a solid foundation of love for God while also respecting others points of views and religions. I have juggled multiple jobs over the years to send my kids to Catholic School and it has been worth every penny.
