However, I signed up for the 8-week SAT summer program, and it was a different experience. Although the program motivated me to have some structure during the summer, there were several days when class time was not productive. The questions were *very* familiar, some were almost exactly what I saw on the crams, in the books, and what we practiced in class with games. I feel like I could hear the instructors (Deborah) voice in my head drilling in the information and correct answers that I needed to answer the questions. I followed Rockwell's advice about passing all the cram tests with at least 90%, I tried to not rush through the state exam, but it felt easy. There was one thing I hadn't heard of or seen before on the test, they used the term "mutual assent" to talk about a "meeting of the minds," I had never heard of mutual assent before, but this was minor. The math problems were even easier on the state than the ones on the crams, so that was nice. Overall, if you're like me and you want to avoid all the nervousness of taking a major exam by being prepared, then Rockwell is a worthwhile investment - worth every penny and every minute of time. I love that I felt the exam was easy and moved through the questions with ease.

When I was able to start my studies again I was faced with expired but you can renew it by paying nearly the same amount to extend for 90 days! I sent a message requesting they consider reducing that if possible. I was barely into month seven at the time. After a few days of no response I sent another message expressing my disappointment that I had not received a response good or bad. After waiting a few more days it was time - I have since purchased the class I needed for less money through another provider. My clientele have always received same day responses! I have no patience for a company that offers "No customer service!

The proof is in their success-my kids scored in the high 80 and 90 percentiles on their ISEEs, were accepted to their private schools of choice, and earned 5s on AP Physics and Calculus exams. My son is a senior, and with Lisa's guidance, achieved a 1530 on the SAT, missing only one math question-no superscore, just one test. Thus far, he has not been turned down by any of the top-tier engineering programs to which he has applied. My younger child is now working diligently with Lisa to maximize his SAT scores as he prepares for college applications in the fall. What makes this all the more impressive is the fact that both my children have dyslexia and dysgraphia-school has not come easy for them. Whether working directly with Lisa or one of her expert team members, you can expect compassion, professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to meet your child at his or level, emotionally and academically. Lisa and her team are exacting and demanding, but with an understanding that kids' anxiety levels and workloads fluctuate through the school year and need to be taken into consideration and adapted to. Working with Lisa, I felt supported as a parent, and more importantly, I knew that while my children were working hard, they too felt supported. My kids have tried preparing for standardized tests using workbooks and online/in-person group classes, but both report the one-on-one experience they have had with Lisa and her team to be the game-changer. Not only are Lisa and her team effective, they are kind! I have enjoyed all my interactions with them, and the kids do not balk when it is time to get down to work. They also feel motivated to get their work done between sessions, so they are prepared for their next meeting-with no helicoptering from me. This is how test prep should be.

Small group instructions via zoom and pre-recorded videos if your kid misses class or they just need to review the content (or if I don't know how to help with homework). They are super caring and attentive. They called me once during class when my son mentioned his stomach hurt and another time to let me know it looked like he was having connectivity issues getting into the zoom call. Both times I was just a few feet away and knew what was going on but I love that they care enough to let me know right away.
