My 10-year-old son has never been much of a writer. At school he would stick to the bare minimum…read morewritten requirements, although verbally he has a lot going on. Before the camp he had written a story that was rich in dialogue and he received a lot of praise for it, which made the suggestion of attending a writing camp welcomed. Since starting there, she's never complained about having to go to tutoring (which is A Big Deal) and in fact she's always in good spirits when she goes in and comes back out.
