The teachers are educated Native Speakers, my kids get the true flavor, accent, and understanding of the culture. Even though we don't speak Spanish at our home, I love to hear my kids speaking Spanish with each other and saying things that I know they picked up here at the school. It's amazing to also have my kids reading and writing in Spanish before they could even read or write in English. It's truly a unique school. My kids come home and they have nothing but great things to talk about, they're excited to come to school!

We are incredibly grateful for the care and education our daughter received from Claudia…read more One of the biggest improvements we saw was in her English. When she first started, she faced a language barrier, but with Claudia's patience, encouragement, and support, she gained confidence and made remarkable progress. She also learned advanced math concepts that gave her a strong foundation and boosted her confidence when she entered school. Claudia is a very caring, patient, and dedicated caregiver. Not only is she wonderful with children, but she is also excellent at communicating with parents. Claudia always kept us informed, and we felt completely comfortable in her care every day. Another thing we appreciated was the variety of activities Claudia organized. I can see her students were always engaged, happy, and excited to participate. The daycare also created a wonderful sense of community--we made lasting friendships with other parents, which has been an amazing bonus for our family. We highly recommend Claudia to any family looking for a nurturing, educational, and supportive daycare environment.

We have sent both our boys through Morningstar, one is still enrolled. Madhuri really cares about…read morethe kids and the school and it shows. They work really hard to provide a great Pre-K experience, in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to learning . They follow Montessori methodology and teach the kids life skills like independent play, cleaning up after yourself and sharing. They provide excellent communication, and focus on each child as an individual and are willing to take the difficult conversations. One of our kids also struggled with focus and following directions and even though we didn't always see eye-to-eye on how to handle situation that arose at school, the important part is that Morningstar staff worked closely with us, we communicated and discussed concerns and took the time to understand perspectives. As parents we want the best for our kids, and sometimes that also means making sure our kids are also contributing to that environment for the other kids and not taking away from that. It is not an easy balance to reach, but having a school that cares and works with the family to get it right is greatly appreciated.

I can't say enough about the Montessori program, the leadership, teachers and staff at Morningstar. Sullivan thrived in the Montessori program. He became an expert in geography, knows how to read and write and has the basics of math down. He also learned how to be a great student and classmate. We are forever grateful to Ms. Madhuri, Ms. Deepti, Ms. Helen and all of the others at Morningstar. Sullivan will miss them greatly. He is excited to start Kindergarten in the fall and thanks to the Morningstar team - he is very ready!

The former negative reviews are from a previous teacher and I can whole-heartedly say that the current teacher, Ms. Jillian, is 100% an amazing person to be around. The Bellevue College parent educator, Ms. Sara, is also an amazing support person to have in the classroom, as well as for parenting questions and she has validated so much of my parenting journey. Not only was my kiddo much more prepared for kindergarten than others in his kindergarten class, but I also feel like the family-interactive school experience has made me a better parent and closer to my children. I highly recommend the co-op experience for those with the lifestyle that suits it!

After a few short weeks we saw amazing results. Due to the distance between my home and facility I decided to wait it out in the lobby. These people are not ripping families off!!! It takes a village to treat not tutor children who can not read to in fact READ! They have a village of trained professionals involved. There is an educator who works one on one with your child, a person who is constantly watching over your child's progress, a person who has to manage the very complicated schedule, and someone to manage over it all. Nothing is perfect and sometimes things fall through the crack, that is the real world. Not that I am dismissing any frustration to the parent in the prior review. To a parent considering Lindamood Bell, no matter what you decide to do, remember you are going to have to pay someone to train your child to read so ask yourself why are kids learning to read in as little as 10 weeks while at Lindamood Bell? I love how the staff celebrate and reward all the children in the program on both small and large milestones. It is a happy place to be and I am forever grateful for the staff at Lindamood Bell.

If you read the Glassdoor reviews, the clinicians barely make any money here. With the amount of tuition paid, they should be making more. I'm not sure if this is a scam artist place, but 20k is very high for 10 weeks of service. After we did the 10 weeks, they were supposed to provide a summer reading list for my daughter, but the director never sent anything and I followed up and I didn't hear back. Once she realized I wasn't planning to send my kid during the summer, she didn't really care. So I'm wondering if it's just a money making place to try and rip off the people in Bellevue because they know it's a rich area. I'm still making payments. I was desperate to get help for my daughter who was struggling. Sad they are taking advantage of kids who are struggling to make money.
