She really manages scheduling wonderfully and listens to you amazingly- she will find the right fit for your child and help them succeed. One of the worst center to schedule your BYU proctor exam. The lady who pick up phone is too rude and start with high pitch voice with the students instead of answering the queries they have. Not sure why such a behavioral issue. My son went for his exam over there, she again did the same thing before the exam which made him nervous and also impacted his focus on the exam. he somehow did the exam and started waiting for the score to be posted to BYU which she haven't done even after 4 weeks. When called her, she said that we need to pay 3 time the price than what was invoiced earlier... its like ripping off.. we paid as we needed score.. please avoid going there... worst place from experience perspective. read more

My son was struggling in Algebra and he just wasn't getting it. A few months with Darren and he now understands it and actually got an A! Our family has worked with Pacific Learning Academy for the past two summers. We absolutely loved how convenient it was. They really made an effort to make sure the schedule worked for both us and them. The teachers who worked with our child were knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Our son wasn't looking forward to summer school AT ALL, but after getting started with their one-on-one program, he loved it! He retained the info and was able to enjoy his summer at the same time. I can't say enough positive things about PLA. We have worked with them for over 3 years for tutoring and math classes. Lois is exceptional. She cares about the kids and is on top of everything. She did a great job finding teachers that would connect with my son. She listened to what he needed and made it work for him. I don't think he would have graduated without her help and the advocating she did for him. Oliver was an amazing math teacher. Extremely patient and made such an effort to connect with my son. This team was awesome on helping my daughter with various topics while she was at Skyline HS. They are supportive and built my daughter's knowledge and confidence in these topics. They were also very understanding of outside commitments (such as sports) and allowed options to schedule around it. I cannot imagine HS without the help of PLA. We reached out to Pacific Learning Academy as a result of multiple referrals from other satisfied clients. Our teenager was struggling in his French studies, and we needed to bring in some reinforcements. I should note that our son earn mostly A's on his report cards consistently, so this C- was of concern to him and to us. Jenni Butz has been a God-send as a tutor and guide for our son. When she started working with him, he was earning a C- or worse in the course. By the semester break, he earned a B. Best of all, his confidence is stronger, and we know he'll continue to do well as he completes French 4 this semester. The best decision we have ever made!!!! We contacted Kirsten when my son was doing poorly in Algebra and Geometry and I could not help him. She was very reassuring and took the time to really understand his needs and paired him with Clive and, due to a schedule change on our part, Windy. Both tutors are excellent and my son enjoyed working with them, and ultimately raised not only his math grades, but all his grades! He has also worked with Windy on SAT prep. His sessions were conveniently scheduled right after school at the Sammamish library and I received a detailed progress report on each session. Kirsten also recommended that we meet with Kara regarding college information.
