The teacher to student ratio is amazing and at any given time, there are about 3 teachers atleast for a class of 20. The entire staff is very approachable and they are open to hearing from parents. My child used to hate going to daycare (kindercare) and would weep every single day. I've seen the difference in how the kindercare staff would work with the kids versus Eyas and it's a world of difference. The teacher churn rate is low as well. My child has been attending Eyas for about 1.5 years now and I have only seen 2 teachers leave. With multiple teachers per class, kids find it easy to manage the minimal churn, if any. My son attended the summer program at Positive Ally through the difficult summer of 2020. My goal was to support local struggling businesses in the pandemic as we reopened. At this time everything changed, from the ratio of student to instructor to the facility itself. This was in addition a new Covid surge. My son was withdrawn after 1 day. I asked the owner to allow us to withdraw from the program and offered him the ability to use the credit for a later time (where staffing ratios and the pandemic surge may be resolved). The guy refused. His tone changed to include personal attacks. He is clearly petty. He filed a lawsuit (served by his 2 kids to my home at 6:30am). If you have money he will come after you obviously he needs it but most businesses during Covid understood families protecting their kids. This individual was more worried about putting food on his table. There are too many decent after school programs this guy and his school is NOT one. Support one with integrity. We give thousands to charity he's just another charity case.

They work really hard to provide a great Pre-K experience, in a safe and comfortable environment conducive to learning . They follow Montessori methodology and teach the kids life skills like independent play, cleaning up after yourself and sharing. They provide excellent communication, and focus on each child as an individual and are willing to take the difficult conversations. One of our kids also struggled with focus and following directions and even though we didn't always see eye-to-eye on how to handle situation that arose at school, the important part is that Morningstar staff worked closely with us, we communicated and discussed concerns and took the time to understand perspectives. As parents we want the best for our kids, and sometimes that also means making sure our kids are also contributing to that environment for the other kids and not taking away from that. It is not an easy balance to reach, but having a school that cares and works with the family to get it right is greatly appreciated.

I can't say enough about the Montessori program, the leadership, teachers and staff at Morningstar. Sullivan thrived in the Montessori program. He became an expert in geography, knows how to read and write and has the basics of math down. He also learned how to be a great student and classmate. We are forever grateful to Ms. Madhuri, Ms. Deepti, Ms. Helen and all of the others at Morningstar. Sullivan will miss them greatly. He is excited to start Kindergarten in the fall and thanks to the Morningstar team - he is very ready!
