From the first phone calls and our first meeting with Ms. Jacobson, we felt taken care of. We had a struggling junior, and have used an IB LA tutor and an IB Calc tutor. Our son loved both, and we have seen the improvement. I highly highly recommend Pacific Learning Academy!

Clean organized school intentionally designed: It was one of the cleanest most organized well set up schools and their sanitation practices were really thorough. 2. Some of the best teachers we've met on all our tours: Compared to teachers at other schools, they just felt one tier above in multiple ways through the way they approached our son, how they answered our questions, and the warmth they exuded. Nurturing and competent teachers with 50/50 Chinese and English. It's very clear they care and love the children. 3. Amazing selection of toys and stations for play: The space was well organized with a large selection of toys and stations that I could see were great for educational development masked as fun. 4. Healthy catered diverse lunch and snacks included - yay! 5. We're not Christian but appreciated the focus around Christian values of how to be good considerate citizens. That was the main goal for being a Christian school. 6. 6. Great prices for all you get: Price is really reasonable when you have all things offered with food provided wrapped together. It's comparably priced to most of the other Montessori Chinese immersion schools, less than the more expensive ones. For the quality and everything that you're getting, it felt very worth the price. We were living in Seattle and ideally wanted to send our toddler to a Chinese immersion Montessori school since my husband and I both work remotely and didn't want English to be the main language our kiddo was exposed to 24/7 but were open to all options; but we cared most about quality clean environment, teaching methodology, and good teachers/childcare professionals. We were so impressed by Shamrock we decided to move to Bellevue and send our toddler son there. He has been attending the Shamrock toddler class since he was 17 months old starting Sept 2025. He LOVES WenTing and Tandra who are his teachers and we can tell bc he runs into the class everyday, says how much he loves Tandra and WenTing, and talks about school to us at home. Despite our concerns it only took him one week to fully adjust and since attending he has not been sent home sick once!!! Anecdotal evidence of just how clean and how seriously they take sanitation practices at their school. I'm sure the other schools would have been great too but he's grown so much since going and we really couldn't imagine sending our kid anywhere else at this point.

My older daughter has been attending Shamrock Montessori since she was 18 months, starting in the…read moretoddler classroom and moving on to preschool. Shamrock is truly a shamrock of schools - unique, special, and a loving environment for the kids. No school is perfect, but to me, I feel that Shamrock does a better job of educating my daughter than I could at home, and I trust the school 100%. Any time we have concerns, we have been able to discuss and resolve them with the school, and the teachers and administrators are open to feedback and constantly improving. This to me is more important than being "perfect" or "the best". The school and staff show a humility and love that is rare in daycare and early school settings. I also want to emphasize that Shamrock is a true Montessori school. Montessori is trendy now, and there are many schools claiming to be Montessori. I am familiar with Montessori as I practice at home. A true Montessori school doesn't just have the appropriate materials and work - it must be Montessori in spirit. Teachers must respect the individuality and progress of each child, and accept them for who they are, where they are, all while guiding them to improve and learn. I believe Shamrock does all of this, and I see it in my daughter. I am sending my younger daughter there in the fall. If you care about your child's spiritual, social and emotional development, about them being in a loving and caring and authentic environment, then Shamrock is the right place for your child's early years.

My son joined Stellar when he was two years old, and now we can't wait to send my second kid to…read moreStellar! We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this place. During our school tour, the Director Ms. Deepika told us that Stellar is not only committed to educating children academically, but more importantly, to inspiring their passion and curiosity for learning and encouraging them to explore. We deeply resonate with this philosophy, and it was one of the main reasons we decided to join Stellar right away. I've already recommended Stellar to many of my friends and family, here's why: 1. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and responsible. Since my son joined Stellar, we've been pleasantly surprised by his daily growth and progress, not only in knowledge, but also in emotional development, self-regulation, and discipline. He has learned to be patient and take turns, to share with others, and to use gentle hands. He throws fewer tantrums, has become kinder, and even helps clean up his own toys. 2. My kid is also noticeably more cheerful and expressive. His vocabulary has grown rapidly, and he can now engage in full conversations and communicate clearly. He can count, and every day at school he participates in crafts and art activities. At home, he continues to want to read, sing, and draw, these are all things that Stellar has helped nurture in him. 3. When I mentioned to the teachers that my child was a picky eater, they patiently encouraged and supported him during lunchtime to ensure he got the nutrition he needed. Over time, he began finishing most of his lunch and reached a healthy weight. The teachers always take parents' concerns seriously and do their best to support both the child and the family, which I truly appreciate. 4. External Environment: The school is located near major transportation hubs, yet nestled within a quiet residential neighborhood. It's peaceful, convenient, and has easy parking. 5. Campus Environment: The classrooms and various facilities are very clean. The entire campus gives me a strong sense of cleanliness, safety, comfort, and simplicity, exactly the kind of warm and welcoming atmosphere I look for in a daycare.

We love the school's intimate size, caring teachers, and ease of communication with the staff. Also, SMA operates year-round with minimal closures. Most importantly, our son is always happy to go to school, which gives us the greatest confidence that SMA is the right choice for him. Thank you SMA for making such a positive impact on our son!

I have so many positive things to say. I looked for a long time and visited, interviewed and…read moreconsidered many options before selecting this academy. The curriculum is advanced and individualized to a degree you won't get in public school. The staff takes time to ensure all children are taught how to learn, learn, and (most importantly) to enjoy learning and staying curious. I won't say more about the academics, you can look up how great they are online. But I will say they don't break kids like other aggressive academic private schools, they make them love learning. My son is so motivated in kindergarten to do his schoolwork! The nutrition is top notch. They feed them "home cooked" healthy organic meals 4-6 times a day. Allergies accounted for. No cakes or sweets allowed and each child gets a classroom bday celebration. Arts are built into the curriculum: culinary arts, painting, music and dance with performances, gymnastics and you even get a speech therapist. Kids are with two teachers: English speaking and Russian speaking. This was a major deal for me in terms of importance. My kid was doing advanced math that kids in first grade are doing in prek and not on a tablet! By 5 he was reading and writing in two languages! The school is high in security and cleanliness. I know my kids are safe and I get photo updates of their time here. The school doesn't teach religion, politics, or gender stuff. That stays with the parents. I love this. It's one of the main reasons I'm here. But they are still teaching kindness, diversity and are strict on anti bullying. The school has hundreds of options for after school programs and care inclusive of science, robotics, musical instruments etc. But most importantly... I love the people. Everyone knows my kids from the daycare to the administration to the cooks to the director of the school. It feels like a warm and safe home. My kids feel comfortable and safe. They are welcomed with kindness. And I feel like they really care. The director of the school called me on the phone to tell me about my son's Iowa test and how she was concerned that someone as smart as him wasn't trying harder to take it. That level of care is so impressive to me. Hands down one of the best decisions I've made for my kids coming here. It is expensive! But very comparable to other private schools in the area. Only thing I can say is I wish the administration for the private school was as organized and on top of it as the administration for their prek and daycare. One thing to note that this private school does do school uniforms. But the policy is quite flexible. It's mainly colors and no prints / graphics or jeans. And on Fridays it's free clothes day.
