I love this place! This place has greatly helped me improve my math skills! My math grades were really bad in first semester so I decided to try this place out! I was looking for a program for students that don't struggle in math, but needed an extra challenge. My 3rd grader finished all of the 3rd grade math curriculum and her teacher was struggling to supplement her learning (and she really, really tried- her teacher was awesome! I don't want anyone to think otherwise! I think she is the reason my child got through it so fast!) I really did not want my 8 year old to not learn more math for 6 months! That would be like 6 months of not reading. Most of the other programs I checked out were for students who needed help in math to bring them up to standard. Mathnasium was the only program I found to help a students that loved math and needed more! My daughter loves, loves, loves it! And I feel a lot better knowing that my kiddo is getting new curriculum and not just being bored! read more

My daughter is in third grade and she started getting a little behind in class. We did an assessment with Mathnasium and got her on a plan to improve. It's been over a month and is improving extremely fast. They'll work on homework with you child or have their own curriculum too. The teachers are trained well and provide great guidance. read more

I really hope mathnasium can add Friday into their schedule. Adding Friday can help spreading the crowd thinner and individual students get more attention from the tutors. I reduce 1/2 star because of the Friday closure, otherwise a great program and a fun place to learn math! read more

Our kids are loving Mathnasium (Redmond). They are now always looking forward to their classes. The tutors are very good. The people running the business too are very much receptive to feedback and do update the learning plan. The way they have designed using the rewards system is helping kids being motivated. My high school student loves Mathnasium. Their approach of testing each student to find the holes in their math background is a great way to start. My daughter found there were simple math operations that she either forgot or didn't learn very well. Identifying and learning those concepts was critical for her in advanced math. It has been wonderful for her to go to Mathnasium after school for help with pre-calculus homework. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and great to work with. It has been better than having a private math tutor because she can drop in any time they are open and get help and practice. What a wonderful team at Mathnasium, who really helped us by opening their doors (during their holiday week!) to serve as official proctors for a bunch of kids wanting to complete their respective summer programs' final exams. They really didn't have to do this, but they did. They are an excellent example of what it means to be a business for the community and not just a community business.
