A very big plus for an Iranian restaurant. Usually they're packed. I think it's because the location is not as visible, and the Bay Area has a few other Iranian restaurants that dominate the market. So it's nice to see a different place. I only ordered the combo koobideh(beef&chicken). Took about 10 minutes, the staff was really friendly, the space looked very clean and good for family occasions. Food was ready, and I was excited, zoomed home and opened the box and the smell just made me fall in love. Btw it was Valentine's Day lol.. so this was a gift to myself. The RICE was the masterpiece. Nice and buttery(not too much) and saffron yellow. This itself was a star of the show. Both the beef and the chicken were very flavorful, of course I had to put sumac to add more flavor. They even included a few pieces of bread. And the burnt tomatoes.. LOVE them. Really happy I found this place, and the staff was really friendly and didn't feel very tiptop snobby. Kheyli mamnoon!!!

They have a homey, comfortable dining area inside, with many tables, for eating on site. Or you can pick up orders to go. Koobideh kabob plate was excellent. The owners were so warm and sweet. You can tell this is a labor of love, small family business. Definitely give it a try

This place has been a San Jose staple for years and has been my go-to main supermarket for as long as I can remember. The selection covers everything you could possibly need, from international products to everyday household essentials all under one roof, the kind of variety that makes any other grocery store feel incomplete. What keeps me coming back just as much as the products is the staff. Many of them have been there for years, always friendly, always consistent, always making you feel genuinely welcomed. That kind of familiarity and warmth is something you just cannot put a price on. You come in for groceries and leave feeling like you just visited old friends. This Food Bazaar is a true San Jose international community treasure and deserves every bit of loyalty it has earned over the years. Highly recommend making it your regular stop, you won't regret it

They have amazing selection of spices, meats, breads, produce and more. The shelves are neatly organized. I love the fresh pita bread and lavash that they sell. I found my favorite brand of grape leaves. I also found the pomegranate syrup I needed and the orange blossom water for my Basbousa. They had a nice selection of fillo dough. My favorite brand is the Apollo fillo dough. I got a few boxes of that for my Armenian Paklava. And I couldn't leave without getting some fresh bread. I talked with Eddie, the owner, for a bit. He's so kind and if there's something you can't find, he'll help you get it. It's always a pleasure shopping here. They have the best international food items and excellent customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.

As a smaller store, I typically don't do a full grocery run there, but I love the quality of many of their items, so I come here frequently. Staff tends to be fairly stable and many of their items friendly people who serve me have been here for some time. I generally find folks to be super helpful. I also trust their fish department - something I don't do at some of the other grocery stores. And, as I said,t heir meat department in general is quite good. The store is well stocked and well-run -- it's always a pleasant stop when I can drop in. I'd probably give it a 5th star if I could find a way to do most of my shopping there, which I just can't. But I love it nevertheless - even through the myriad name changes it's experienced over the past decade or so as they've somewhat inexplicably changed their name several times. (Mid-life crisis? Corporate shuffling? Reinvesting? Who knows? I just know that when I tell my wife I'm going to the store, I stumble through two names they used to have before I get to the right one.) I do recommend Silver Creek Community Market and, if you live nearby, please consider supporting this store with your business - it's so nice to have a decent grocery near your home.

Now for the pizza... The toppings are abundant. At first I thought they were a little bit lacking up around the crust area. But that allows you to enjoy the crust. It's soft but flaky with an excellent chew. The slices are large but the dough is thin, so you can easily have 2-3 slices. 4 if you're hungry and want to push it! I highly recommend this location. The fermentation concept is woven into everything from the beers and botanical mocktails to the food and it actually works incredibly well. The food was surprisingly memorable too, especially how vegetable-forward dishes still felt rich and satisfying. The atmosphere has this warm, artsy, almost hidden-gem energy that makes you want to stay for hours. What really stands out is that the place feels intentional. You can tell the owners care deeply about craft, community, and creating an experience instead of just another brewery. Fox Tale Fermentation is a small place like a Japanese ramen shop. My high school classmate suggestion this place and I thought she was vegetarian. I asked her why this place; she wanted to try it out but she's a meat eater. I'm down to try new places so we went. When we went, it was really crowded for a Thursday dinner time. A lady saw my cane and offer her table to sit at so I felt seen. You pretty much order at the front counter; you pour your own water. Front counter was so nice to us as we try to order. We got the funk salad and kombucha. We didn't order a lot because we wanted to try the place. When we got to our table, it was near the door. Our funk salad came and it was hefty mf. It was a bowl of salad all right. So you know how I said earlier that I don't like vegetarian food? OMG I was amazed. The best salad I've eaten. The vinaigrette was so good; it was citrusy. My salad was cut into small pieces so it wasn't big that I need to cut it. The sweet potato was sauteed. The princess sauerkraut was so good. I don't like sauerkraut at all but it was divine. I never tried kombucha because I thought it was dirt tea. I was wrong. It has the fermented taste and I never knew. After trying it, it's not something I would order again. I liked how I was eating "healthy" food after I ate bad yesterday. I don't have that bad bloated feeling. It's very wheelchair friendly and restroom is unisex. The restroom is clean. The establishment is clean. I would go here again if I have a vegetarian visitor. This place rocks!
