We did online order for curbside pick up, food was supposed to be ready in 15 min per text confirmation, took 30 minutes. There was no option to check in, so we went inside and stood in line to check in. Chicken tenders were definitely not worth the price, more the size of a kids meal. Almost $3 for a regular size take out soda seems excessive. Definitely not worth the $23 we paid for less food that was mediocre in comparison to most fast food joints. We tried the burgers and they were amazing! The Steakhouse was delicious as was the Bacon Cheddar burger. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Manager was walking around to make sure people were properly spaced and taken care of. Oberweis ice cream was an added bonus! Will definitely be coming back. read more

We were excited to try this 3-in-1 restaurant but our experience was absolutely awful as soon as we walked in. Not only did we have to clean our own table (with a spray bottle & towel no less - all while an employee delivered our food & didn't even acknowledge the dirty table), they then got one of our orders wrong and when we tried to return it & ask for the correct order, no less than 3 employees behind the counter just looked at us & walked away (btw - while we were waiting, another customer was attempting to return their ice cream order that had multiple hairs on it - gross!!!). Finally, I stopped an employee walking by in the dining room and asked them to correct the order. We then waited FIFTEEN minutes before we went and asked about the corrected order, and THEN it was finally delivered (it was a kids burger - shouldn't have taken THAT long) with no apology and not even a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream or ANYTHING. Absolutely horrible experience. Luke warm and VERY mediocre food. We will NOT be back, and we will NOT be recommending this place to anyone - other than to tell them to stay away! read more

Staff seems very friendly and you can tell the work well as a team, but the layout of the building makes it really awkward to know where to stand. Came on for just a pickup and you're either standing with your backside to someone's table or your in the way of people trying to get drinks - which could either be wait staff or other customers, because I guess the line workers don't have their own fountain for pickup or online orders. Ordered two sandwiches and cheese fries but by the time I got the whole order and drove three minutes down the road the lettuce had turned into a see through piece of leaf that I literally just slid off the sandwich (and I'm normally a big fan of all the salad I can get on my burger) and there was no cheese with the cheese fries. On the upside the chicken and the burger were both really good, so at least the quality of the food was good regardless of the attention to detail. Called to ask about the fries and they said they could take down my name to get them free next time. When I said I could just drive back up now, they seemed caught off-guard and said it would take about 15 minutes to warm up the machine. So never mind then. Had a great experience - went through the drive through, had a cheese burger and burger with fries and drinks...the order was perfect, the food was hot, and the wait time was minimal. It has just become our new favorite hamburger joint...get the twist on that? It is a little pricey, so be be prepare or don't go but it's worth it. read more

We decided to try out this new burger place and we were all excited. We ended up ordering That steak double with Swiss cheese, That double with Swiss cheese and no onion, Large cheese fries and a regular cheese fries, a unlimited topping pizza, 2 drinks, 2 salads, a double mushroom and Swiss, a that double with American cheese and a regular fries. I asked for the fries to be well done and they weren't. There was barely and cheese on the fries and the fries tasted old and cold, cheese wasn't hot either. The that double burger wasn't cooked all the way in the middle. 1 burger was missing cheese. The other burger had onions and wasn't supposed to. The buns on that double burger was so soggy and mushy it was gross. I was so excited to try out the new burger place but disappointed in the food. We spent a good amount of money as well and we were going to get some ice cream but decided not to because of all the issues we had. For a new place to eat they should be on top of their game to make customers want to come back and make us really enjoy our food. read more

I went to That Burger Joint for the first time today! It is located on Highway K near Hobby Lobby! The restaurant is a combination of Oberweiss Ice Cream/That Burger Joint/Woodgrain Pizzeria. When you arrive you place your order for all three restaurants at the same register.They give you a number & they bring your food out to you. We sat outside & they had no problem finding us! The sandwiches are wrapped when they are delivered to your table. My husband ordered That Cheeseburger Combo & I ordered That Chicken Sandwich Combo. The Combos include fries & a drink. My husband & I both agreed that our meals were very tasty & we would definitely go back! It was nice to try something new & different. We had planned to get dessert from Oberweiss after we finished eating our lunch! But the line was out the door by that point. So now we have an excuse to go back! Maybe next time we go, I will try Woodgrain Pizzeria. read more

The food is very good and the staff could not be nicer and more helpful! For the people who complain about the prices, it seems pretty clear how much everything costs according to the menu and is a justifiable value in my mind. If you want a sub $10 burger and fry combo there are plenty of fast food drive through options you can frequent. This is certainly well above that quality and as a fast casual concept is right on point. If you expect the fast and cheap, go for that. If you want the finer dining, sit down, wait staff experience then that is cool too. This place is clearly the fast casual niche and performs exactly to that quality and expectation and does it quite well. read more

First time here and probably won't be back. Placed order and received my pizza & salad within 5 minutes. I was impressed at first but asked where my son's burger was. I was told they'd go check on it. 15 minutes and no burger, 20, 25 minutes later & still no burger. I went back up there & they were just getting ready to bring it out. When a new place opens in your neighborhood, you always wonder about them. Well, you don't have to wonder about Oberweis/ That Burger Joint / Woodgrain pizza. All three of these restaurants share a building on Hwy K. My wife is gluten free and finding a safe place fit her to eat is very tough. Woodgrain is an amazing option. They hand roll out their own gluten free crust that is amazing. We had to ask again tonight to make sure they did not mix up her order, because the crust is that good. Their manager, Mike, is great to work with. He makes the time to reassure us that they do what is necessary to make sure what they serve is truly gluten free. He is amazing!!! He truly cares about their guests and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and the most important. Only wish we could give them more than five stars. read more

I went here to support my kids fundraiser and wasted an entire evening driving back and forth to this restaurant. We will not be back after the rude manager was no help at all! Got there about 11:20 (before the lunch rush). Got a That Burger double with cheese and regular fries (no drink) to go. $14 is pricey for that meal. Got in the car, grabbed a couple fries to eat, they were cold, very greasy, and had obviously been in the to-go cup for a while because when I went to pour them out next to the burger they came out in a blob in the shape of the cup.
