I had to find a quick solution and spoke to Jaipur and ordered me a full tray of the best butter chicken in the world and 3 garlic naans. Chunky pieces of juicy flavourful tandoori chicken swimming in a pool of buttery tomato sauce was so addictive ! They make the best gravy!! We could just eat this every day! They loaned us a aluminum restaurant tray so we could transport it home safely. I can't believe we polished the tray off in 2 days.My goodness! I knew I had to write another review bc my last review was from 6 yrs ago. Salivating just looking at the pictures I posted. Tomorrow I'm placing 2 additional orders of this glorious creation and will portion them out and freeze them like we initially discussed with Jaipur. Amritsari fish is quite tasty too. One day I will try other items on the menu but Butter Chicken is must every time I visit!

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

The interior decor was very Indian style. I didn't see any outdoor seating. I am not sure if they have carrier option but this place is a definite try for a dining option if you're looking for delicious authentic Indian food. The way the restaurant is set up is go and sit down. You get served your Indian vegetarian Gujarati thali. Like a regular restaurant, you don't get a choice of menu card or menu option from which you can pick your dinner. Everyday menu is decided and is served. This is a must try place. I highly recommend this place for any one who is interested in trying Indian food. They are family friendly and business casual. It is located in a fairly busy plaza not in terms of traffic but it has many good eateries. I got some mutton rolls, they were fresh and delicious not overly spicy. The roll was full of flavor. Priced just right. I also tried their dried fish in masala now sure what it is called but it was absolutely divine. These are these tiny dried fishes made with their local spices and peanuts my god. I took it home and devoured it will daal/lentil and rice. I was traveling soon so didn't get other stuff but next time I'm there I'm definitely trying a bit of everything. Fabulous customer service, the lady and the gentleman behind the counter were so friendly and helpful. If they are the owners you guys are running a fab show I'm sure you know it. The place was packed with a minimum half hour wait for a table. The atmosphere was young and lively. The servers were efficient in resetting tables and order taking, as well as friendly, courteous and accommodating of special requests. Water jug on the table was replenished without having to ask; kudos to the servers. A slight misunderstanding resulted in the naan orders being brought out much later than the tandoori orders. *Hint: specify that naan should be brought out with the "appetizers"* It was nice to have pretty serving dishes, and real plates and cutlery instead of paper and plastic. Even the take out containers were of superior, non-leak variety :D. The seating system was efficient, once we were able to determine how and where we were supposed to register for a table. All the food ordered (mostly tandoori, naan and vegetable curry) was excellent, freshly made, generous portions even for sharing, the naan light and tender. But the real stand out was the tandoori fish (salmon?). We would make the long trek back for the tandoori fish alone! This was food quality that belongs in a 5* restaurant where the prices charged far outstrip what we were charged here. One star off for the following: - No sign explaining about registering for a table. - Decor and ambiance could do with an upgrade. I hope they open branches in other parts of the GTA! Without compromising on their food quality.
