This place has terrible, over priced food with extremely small portions, and horrible service!  Pan Asia on Camp Bowie is WAY better! I came here to eat dinner with my mom and kids for my 40th birthday. We were seated right away. It took the waitress awhile before she ever came and took our DRINK order, but before we could finish it to go check on the availability of drinks. She returned, finished our drink order them said she'd be back to take our food order even though we were ready and she left quickly. It was some time again before she actually returned. Finally she did and we ordered. We sat patiently and watched as two tables across from us got seated. One table received their order before us. We waited patiently. We figured he must've ordered something easy or premade. Then we watched a table of four girls get seated. Eventually, THEY got their food. We waited still. Then we noticed the waitresses stop by and pick up the empty plates from the first table. He had arrived AFTER us, finished his meal, then he was sitting there chatting. They checked on him but never checked on US! It seemed we were invisible as waitress after waitress blew past us in a hurry. Then the 4 top received THEIR meals, finished and were happily chatting. At this point, we started to get annoyed. We checked and realized we had been waiting over an hour... Starving... Not even checked on, offered an appetizer... Not even an apology! Then one of the staff must've noticed our angry expressions (maybe the manager or owner)  and started frantically asking about an order in the kitchen. They brought out or soup but my kids were so hungry, we were trying to split ONE bowl between the four of us. So we asked for another bowl. Finally, our food arrived. The potions were small. The BBQ cutlets were thin and over cooked to the point that they were impossible to cut and the plate was nearly sliding off the table when I tried. The fried rice was soggy and mushy. And again, it was a super tiny portion..They delivered all our food except my 7-year olds. My poor child sat there with no food. We were starting to think they forgot his. Eventually they brought his. When they brought the bill, it was almost $100 for some tiny portions of meat, rice, soup, and a kids meal! The food wasn't even good! And the think...I came here for my birthday and was treated with such disregard! Go to Pan Asia on Camp Bowie! The best Thai food I've had in Ft Worth. My boyfriend and I get this at least a few times a month delivery (via EntreesOnTrays) for dinner. I went in for the first time Friday. I ordered the peanut sauce with tofu and brown rice. It was a decadent perfection. I was in a hurry and they got me out of there fast. I really loved the fact that they did not serve my meal with a box of rice, but instead gave me an actual recommended serving size. I still could not finish my plate, and I am not a tiny person. If I could change anything, I would make the salad a bit larger, but I loved the tomato vinaigrette and the summer roll. I will be coming back! read more

I ordered this to go through Caviar, and it has got to be towards the bottom of the list when it comes to Thai food I've had. To begin, I ordered the Red Curry with Beef and added sticky rice for an additional $3. I ordered a spicy level of 4, and sometimes places will make it a 3 just because they know people can't really handle it but, when I was eating it, there was absolutely no spice; it was almost 0-1 spice level. In addition to this, they provided a handful of sticky rice to go with my meal. After paying an additional $3 for some rice, you'd think there would be a bit, but that was not the case. When it comes to Thai food, this has got to be the smallest portion I have ever received. Beside the fact that the name is AMAZING and filled with humor the food is Spec.tac.ular! Pineapple Fried Rice is my go-to item but the Pad See Ew is breathtaking. I'd order that every day for a week if my hips weren't already so saggy (not that the pineapple fried rice is much better, it's just easier for me to stop shoveling delicious food into my mouth). I like the pad Thai with tofu and the drunken noodles with shrimp. The steamed potstickers are good- but we like the ask for extra fried garlic bits. The papaya salad is one of my favorites! I always ask for it extra spicy. When it's in season the mango sticky rice is the best dessert. Finally the Thai tea isn't too sweet and very aromatic. I love Thai and I love Thailicious. I love that they promote healthy cooking! I found out recently that Thailicious' sister restaurants are Thai Select, Thai rice n noodle, and Spice. Surprising really because I never cared for rice n noodle, at one time Thai Select was pretty good, and I haven't ate at Spice yet. Chicken with cashew nuts is my favorite. Their pad thai is also very good. My husband gets the roadside noodle soup. It's not on the menu anymore, but they will still make it. They have these candies on the table as you walk out. Good, solid Thai food. I do find this place to be pricier than other nearby Thai restaurants and the food to be in smaller portion, but given their location and ambiance, it's understandable that they would up charge a little. The interior is nice, and one can tell that they've taken care to make the establishment classier, from the place settings and the uniforms. The papaya salad was well balanced and a good amount of spicy. I personally am quite the rabbit so I greatly appreciated all the cabbages and garnishes they served it with, so I can spoon up the remaining sauce with raw vegetables, in the traditional Thai manner. However it wasssss I think $7 or $8 and that's just a bit much for papaya salad. The red curry, kee mow, and see ew were also good, but standard. The vegetables were very fresh and everything less oily than I expected, which was a plus. Overall, it's a nicer and slightly more expensive Thai restaurant, in which you pay more for atmosphere and presentation. Good for business meals. read more

I had high hopes, but my lemon chicken was 90% greasy breaded hard crust like a funnel cake and the chicken was hard and chewy in a cardboard kind of way. Their kid meals are $12. Online menus are not updated to reflect this. Who wants to pay $12 for a kid meal? The mango sticky rice was fine, although it looks better in photos than how it tastes. My very favorite thing here is the vegetable glass noodles!! They are so delicious and I always ask for extra spicy & I love them for taking me seriously and making it nice and hot. My mom is vegan and gluten free and they always hook it up with gluten free cooking and gluten free soy sauce! So happy we can now eat two very different things at the same delicious restaurant! I've had the panang curry and the drunken noodles. Both are good, but not exceptional. I do like spicy foods and I usually order a 3 (out of 5) here and it's really spicy. Almost too spicy for me. I've seen someone order a 4 here, but never anybody crazy enough to order 5. The lunch special comes with a salad and an appetizer; I've had egg rolls and pot stickers, both are good. I usually love eating at Thailicious, but today I had a terrible experience. My fiancé and I arrived around 6:15 and it was more crowded than usual for a Sunday night. We were sat and even though we knew exactly what we wanted to order, it took over 30 minutes for someone to come and put our order in. We at least felt better after we put the order in that our food would arrive quickly. We ordered Pad Thai which of course is the post popular dish. We waited about another 30 min and our food still was not ready, nor did anyone check up on us to tell us our food was on the way. We finally just decided after waiting an hour, that we were too hungry to wait any longer, so we left and went to a nearby restaurant. I would not recommend visiting here on a crowded night-- you will be overlooked. We are thinking the waiter did not even put our order in. read more

I really did love this place until I had a terrible experience with poor service and an order that was never corrected. The whole situation was so stressful between having to ask to have the check adjusted after never several times I said the food was not good and I wasn't able to eat. After all that they weren't even able to make change in the register. We go to Thai terrace now and it's never been an issue to get good service without the attitude. The food was really good and the price point fair. Wow this place is at the top of my list for Thai in Fort Worth. We recently had a carry out order of green curry and pad woon sen. Both entrees were prepared to perfection. It had been a few months since our last visit, I don't remember that experience being so good but the food was amazing this visit. The restaurant does not seat a large number of people, which makes it a nice date night place in my opinion. The location is a good one as well, so close to 30 and Hulen makes it easy to get to. The staff is accommodating and they take the time to get orders and answer questions accurately. I would like to try the chicken lettuce wraps on my next visit as well as massaman curry. I am from Seattle but lived in Southeast Asia for three years because of my dad's work, am now a college student who has searched high and low for anything that tastes like my childhood (especially in Texas, man, let me tell you!!). I am a relatively harsh critic in general and has no expectations given my location in Texas right now but Thailicious is the closest thing I can get to feeling at home and authentic!
