The service took this from 2 stars to 1. Thailicious is relatively new so the hubby and I decided to go on a Friday evening around 7:30. We were seated pretty quickly (although right in front of the kitchen) and were excited about this little hole in the wall. The decor was quirky with chandeliers, aluminum ceiling and contemporary furniture which was appealing. There was, however, no music which detracted from the overall ambiance. The menu is decently extensive and mildly expensive, but not out of place for the area. I remember seeing lamb and duck as well as sea food and classic Thai dishes. We ordered summer roles for our appetizer before our entrees and began the wait. We waited and waited. Eventually our entrees came out and after reminding the waiter that we had, in fact, ordered an appetizer, brought that out too. No sauces were offered and there were *gasp* no chopsticks. I can't remember the last time I ate an Asian noodle dish without chopsticks -- for me, its part of the flavor. Which brings me to the actual flavors, which I oh so wanted to like. But, the summer rolls were bland, eh and I wasn't crazy about the peanut sauce. My entree, which I ordered to be of medium heat was literally so hot that I couldn't eat it and my drink refill was not in sight. I literally polished off both my drink and the hubby's without getting through a third of the dish. Which was, by the way, drunken noodles with tofu. Perhaps it was my fault for ordering medium heat (although I usually like my food spicy) but the lack of moisture in my entire meal made me wonder if the noodles had a change of heart and suddenly sobered up. This is when I really needed sauce of some sort, but again, no waiter would look over even though we were right in front of the kitchen. The hubby liked his eye of round steak flavoring but not the fishy sauce or noodles that accompanied it. End result: my mouth was on fire for an hour and my digestive system was pissed the entire next day. Go at your own risk, others have given this place decent ratings, perhaps I went on a bad night. Like I said, I really wanted to like it, but just couldn't get past the extremes of bland and spicy food nor the inattentive waitstaff. read more

Never let down, been coming here for few years and always great. Little more expensive than other place but worth the money. Taste is pretty close to authentic. My husband loves Koa soi and I love pad see ew and papaya salad. Very recommended. read more

The food and service was good and the prices were reasonable. I look forward to trying more dishes in the future.

The food is fantastic and staff is great! I had the duck curry, larb, crying tiger (steak), and sweet sticky rice with coconut ice cream...Ft.Worth has a new great Thai restaurant! read more

We love this restaurant so much. We've never ordered a bad meal from Thailicious. The pad Thai and pad ke mao are great as well as the different curries and fried rice dishes. So so good! read more

I never left a bad review anywhere but this is justified because it's concerning a simple customer service request frowned upon. I've ordered Basil fried rice numerous times here but the last 2 times I requested my vegetables to be chopped smaller. They told me this is the last time they will do that service. WOW! I'm paying $15 for a rice order and a 15 second customer request you can't do? WOW. SOUTHLAKE AREA THAILICIOUS FOR LIFE from this point on. Sorry to have ever entered through you doors. My favorite quaint getaway for amazing foods and charming atmosphere. Always my number one recommendation to friends and visitors.

We ordered red curry and Pad see ew. Spicy level 3. Thai tea was ok but the boba was hard and old tasting. The level was good. Not too spicy. I could go to level 4. I really liked my pad see ew. The curry was ok. We prefer more curry soup than it being filled to the top with just bamboo. We have had better tasting ones. My husband was not impressed read more

Very disappointed with my experience. What this place makes up for in atmosphere it lacks in timing of food, cramped space, lack of flavor! Also, you're paying more for less. The drunken noodles lacked flavor & was the worst of all the Thai restaurants in FW. You're better off going to the sister restaurant Thai Select for much tastier dishes and less $$. read more

There aren't a lot of Thai restaurants to choose from in fort worth, thailicious is definitely my favorite out of them all. The food tastes very authentic, fresh and high quality. Some other thai places have extremely greasy food, but thailicious tastes more healthy and crisp. I love their curries and their Pad Kra Prow! The restaurant is a little small and gets very busy during lunch and dinner, so be prepared to wait. read more

Wow sorry I didn't realize I've been here about 10x and never posted a review....!? The Fort Worth location is GREAT. If you like Thai food you have to try this place - it's legit. I almost always order the fire fish which is delicious. Rangoons are also very good with my one complaint being the rapper is too thick. I've tried all the curries too -- on point consistent flavors presentation and quality. Papaya salad is another go to fish for us... Seriously I can't say enough about this place - just love it. read more

Best Thai in Fort Worth! Try the Massaman curry. I tried level 2 spice, but will probably try level 3 next time. Level 2 was very mild. The decor inside is adorable, and all of the waitors were very helpful. I can't wait to come back to this restaurant! read more

Lunch includes a small lettuce salad, egg rolls/spring roll/or 2 pork potstickers, and a noodle or rice dish. I order peanut sauce on my salad, which was light and sweet. I came here with a recommendation from a friend and I'm glad I did! The restaurant is clean and well lit though I felt a little crammed in like a sardine at the table seating. The booth section seemed to have more space. The server took my order, delivered my food and cleared the table of my first two courses promptly. After the main course arrived, however, it was almost as if I was forgotten about. I had to flag my waiter in order to get the check. I chose to turn a blind d eye to it as they were extremely busy with the lunch rush. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely go again! read more

Was really excited to try this place with my friend! Boy were we disappointed! The waitstaff was rude after they found out we were splitting the meal. Their pricing is a bit ridiculous for what they serve. I mean we could get the same food at taste of Asia for half the price. When the food came we had to ask for extra plates and then I had to ask for an extra knife. All greeted with sour faces and quip replies. I asked if we could have some of the orange sauce on the side we were told no. I watched what was obviously the head waitress asked tables around us if they were ok and if she could get anything else for them. My friend and I were left alone. We will not be returning to this place. read more

I really love the quality of the food here. Everything I've ever had was super tasty and fresh! The main issue I have is the staff and their poor communication skills. The servers are poorly trained, one even made a slightly racist remark about the fact that he doesn't like spicy foods is somehow connected to his fair skin tone? It was weird and very inappropriate. When we were trying to spilt the bill it took an extremely drawn out process to get each persons check correct when we only split it two ways. The staff needs some serious training on how to treat customers. read more

Horrible experience! I will never go back! The staff is so incredibly rude. I went with my mother and baby and we had to get up and leave. The staff was incredibly rude and abrasive to my mother they knew it and certainly did not care. read more

We went for lunch and it was really fantastic!! You should really consider this place if you're looking for friendly service and wonderful food. We had the thai basil beef and the green curry-- both were delicious! The lunch portions were more than enough and came with a salad (we got peanut dressing) and with either a summer roll (veggies wrapped in rice paper) or 2 potstickers. I definitely recommend getting the potstickers- they were perfectly fried and very tasty. The servers were very attentive and got our food out quickly (always appreciated during lunch time when people have to get back to work). A+++ read more

Lunch special is good and service is actually fast. The restaurant is crowded and you might have to wait for seats to come up. I tried wild chili and made it as spicy as 5. I'm sad to give this place such a low rating because I really love their food, if it is how I ordered it. I've been here at least 8 times in the last 4 months. I always order drunken noodles spice level 2, I have a history of stomach ulcers so I can't go too crazy with the spice. The problem is that of the 8 times I have been there, 4 times I couldn't even eat the noodles because my eyes were streaming tears and my mouth was burning so badly. I kept going back hoping it was just a fluke and sometimes it would be perfect just to have the next visit end in flames and disappointment. When it is made as I ordered, the drunken noodles and Tom yum thailicious are amazing but they are so inconsistent that I'm sad to say I probably won't be going back. read more

Great place, with great service! Went a bit basic with the pad Thai this time but I will definitely be venturing out.

Extremely rude staff no customer service at all. Ruined the vibe and day for me. You would think they would treat you with respect.

Let me start this by saying I am extremely keen on customer service. My children ages 9 & 10 and I walked on on a Friday afternoon around 1:45. The lady at the register/greeter/hostess/waitress didn't acknowledge us when we entered and as I asked if we could be seated at a booth (there were prob 4 tables taken at most) said..."let me see if one is clean (there were 3 open booths) and pointed us to go to one like we were cattle in her steer. She then came back and "tossed" 3 menus on the table and left. Came back 5 mins later and said "what do you want to drink?" My daughter asked for a "taro bubble smoothie and my son asked for a honeydew tea to which she abruptly said we don't have that but Ill check" (with the rudest tone that made me son's eyes well up with tear). We said thats fine they will sprites and she walked away. I had to flag her for her attn when we were ready to order to which bluntly said "yeah Ill be back" takes our order as if we were wasting her time hangs it in the order window and she proceeds to the farthest table in the back (about 2 tables behind us) of the dining area and sits down to eat her lunch with the rest of the wait staff. I should have known at that point to leave. After that another waitress comes over to take care of us & the rest of our meal who was really attentive and curteous. My son (who is 9) even said "Mom she is so much nicer than the rude lady that was helping us". The pad see ew (fried flat noodles) and the orange chicken was good but because of our experience we WILL NOT BE BACK. To the RUDE waitress with the Filipino accent Im sorry you were so hungry you chose us to be rude to. I suggest you greet EVERYONE with a smile from now on if you want to continue your line of work. I really wanted to like this restaurant....good luck Thailicious. read more

Lunch was amazing - the waitstaff friendly and helpful, the food delicious. We got Garden rolls with peanut sauce and sriracha, and Pad Woo Sen. For dessert, we had fried bananas with coconut ice cream. It was seriously a religious experience. Unfortunately, the last two times I went for dinner, it wasn't as awesome. The wait staff consists of about 5 males, standing around doing nothing, as a table next to us waited to order. They left after about 10 minutes of waiting for someone to greet them. We ordered and waited about an hour for food. When I asked our waiter for a time estimate, he said "your food is next" and kept walking. We then waited as multiple to-go orders left (obviously we were not next). The food was good, but not worth the experience. I would go again, but ONLY for take-out. This is apparently one of those places where to-go orders have a much higher priority than dine-in. read more

Edit: Tried Thailicious again, and it was very good! The yellow curry was great, different than I've had from any other Thai restaurant. Thailicious adds peas and carrots instead of huge chunks of potato and uses smaller pieces of chicken, which makes the chicken more flavorful. They must have been having an off day in my first review below. The first time I tried Thailicious, it was awesome. I got the Drunken Noodles and Thai ice tea. Very tasty, food was excellent and the service was good. The second time I got the food to go. The food that I ordered spicy was very bland and tasteless. I also got the Bangkok fried rice, and it was so spicy that the person I ordered it for couldn't eat it, so I ended up mixing it with my food to try and make mine have some flavor. It is kind of on the expensive side too, so that was really a disappointment to pay that much for inedible food. I don't know if this place is hit or miss with it's cooks, or if it has just gone downhill since the first time I tried it. read more

Friendly, clean and inviting are words that I would use to describe first impressions of this small but delicious spot. We had never been here before and when told our waitress she this was our first visit she offered drink recommendations and guided us through the menu. I tried the delicious and sweet iced Thai Tea. We have been coming to Thailicious since it opened several years ago. The food and the service has always been outstanding! However, today we went in and were VERY disappointed. There were two young Thai girls working. We did not see the owners. I ordered the Garlic Sause with beef and my daughter ordered the Thailicious Sampler. When we got our food the first thing I noticed was that the garlic on my dish was burned to a crisp! Very bitter which ruined the entire dish. Then my daughter told me that her shrimp and her dumpling were able burned black! Honestly, when I looked they were black! Hard as bricks! Well, needless to say I could not believe the Chef would actually try to serve the BS!!!! To top it off about the time we were set to leave a small cockroach ran across the table! When I showed it to the young waitress she squealed and ran away. BAD! BAD! BAD!!! read more
