Item by item: The Shrimp Pad Thai was the star of the show, amazing flavor. Spicy beef salad was perfect meat to salad ratio for me, generous on the meat. Papaya salad was definitely a lighter version than what I'm used to. Many places use the heavy fish and fermented goods but this one was mostly just citrus sauce. And the crying thaiger which to me came out a little too well done, maybe I should have specified I like the meat more rare as that's what I'm used to. The pink drink nom yen was interested, reminded me of a pepto bismol taste. One thing I asked for extra thai hot (spicy) on everything, and still I think it was a medium heat. Maybe just me though. Our first time here. Place is clean. Food was good. Not greasy. Waitress was professional. We arrived at 3:04pm and we got lost. We started to order the lunch special and the man said, "No to the waitress and she said, we could not order from the lunch menu". In his place, I would have talked to the customers and kindly explained that they missed the lunch specials and that the cut off was at 3pm. Picked up food from here for the first time. My go-to dish at Thai restaurants is Pad see ew so thats what I got (with chicken) and the fried chicken dumplings. Pad see ew was ok 6/10, unfortunately, chicken was very dry and had an intense chicken flavor that Im not fond of. But the fried dumplings were very good (9/10). I'd go back just for the dumplings but I do want to try other dishes as well. read more

This place does really good thai fusion that is flavorful and affordable. Last visit I got the eggplant and orange chicken. I usually don't order orange chicken but there's is done tempura style with tiny, crispy pieces without too much sauce. Easily the best in town! read more

Awful service!!!!! It sucks because I drove a long way. After all, a friend recommended this place to me. The waiter was combative with me after he mixed up my whole order. 10/10.. if you don't like the food here you have bad taste. I didn't know Thai food could be so fresh. The lightness of the fried foods (cream cheese wontons, fried dumplings, orange chicken) was socking in the best way. The Crying Thaiger was tender and the sauce was delightful. All the sauces were top tier and felt homemade. Portion of the Pad Thai was large and full of tofu, chicken, and fresh bean sprouts to mix in. Did a last minute add on of the crab fried rice and so happy we did. The real crab was so good mixed with the fried rice. Everything was so balanced. We were full but didn't feel gross after eating because the food wasn't heavy. The decorated is so cute and upscale. It also smelt amazing. Not like food but of gardenias or some light flower scent of the candle on the table. I don't know how this place wasn't packed on New Year's Eve (maybe we went too early) but this is one of the best restaurants in LA not just for Thai food but over all. Had the Crying Thaiger Beef, the papaya salad, and the Panang curry. I think the food was just ok. Papaya salad was probably the best thing. Panang curry was ok but for me at least was overly creamy. The beef dish was ok, pretty much just steak slices with basic seasoning and a cup of sauce. The sauce does make it taste fine/good, but I think I was expecting something more interesting. With some interesting looking options in the area, I would probably choose to try something new instead of returning You only get a fork and one single napkin, so you might need to ask for a spoon (especially if you order a curry) and more napkins. Our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and my partner ordered the Thai Basil over Rice. I had seen a previous review mentioning that the potatoes and carrots were undercooked in the curry, but they seemed to have been true to their reply and worked on it. The curry was delicious and the potatoes and carrots were softened. They told my partner that his meal would be on the drier side before they put the order in, and he was okay with it. Trying it, you can taste the basil and it was dry but it was delicious and they let us know ahead of time! The bathrooms were clean and stocked. Really really bad service here, they are unable to take orders correctly. I order for my kids and I specifically asked for NOT spicy for all my dishes, including curry. Half the time they can follow requests, but the other half they just make it as spicy as they want. I should have learned my lesson before, but decided to give them a few more chances. As you can see in the photo, the yellow curry I ordered is RED and was as spicy as it looks, and obviously inedible by my young kids. When I called the manager he would not refund me, insisted I drive all the way back to the restaurant for a refund (like I have just free time to drive back and forth) as well as then hanging up on me because they don't want to deal with me. I really miss Thai Food Express who used to be here, I didn't appreciate how good their food was and how nice the owner/daughter were who ran the place, and at first thought this place was a good replacement but am sorely disappointed at this point and am 100% never returning again. read more

Underwhelming food. I tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Mongolian Stir Fry. The restaurant has a stinker rice smell. The Pad Thai was simply okay. It wasn't terrible, and you do get a decent sized portion so the value is okay. It did taste a bit bland, and the small bits of tofu were too firm and tasted like they weren't even part of the same dish. Pad See Ew was probably the best entree here. It was slightly better than the Pad Thai. The Mongolian stir fry tasted like generic Chinese buffet food. Bland flavor and felt like I was eating leftovers. Although the fresh green onion garnish was a nice addition, it couldn't save this dish. The food isn't terrible, but there's little reason to come back. read more
