Vegan Pad Thai with Tofu - made well. With the same taste that we are used to. The quantity was a bit less we think but not bad. Vegan Cashew Stir Fry with Tofu - again just as we are used to. Enough cashews and good flavour and little dry as we would have like some gravy/ sauce for the rice.

Lately the road section is under construction so it's pretty difficult to get parking, I think my client was on one end of construction and I parked on the other end. I moved to Guelph over a year ago and started my hunt for the "best yellow curry in town" soon after. I've had probably every curry in a 20 km radius at this point, and Red Papaya is still at the top of my list. I'm not a huge fan of potato curry, but this place has made me a believer. The curry has a great consistency (not too thin, but not too much like gravy), which is maybe the hardest thing to find. The service is also always great. I have some picky eaters at home and the staff is always incredibly patient and meticulously double-checks every order. I've also branched out to a few of their other offerings -- the red and green curries (obviously), drunken noodles (not my favorite), and the basil stir fry (great seasoning and perfectly cooked rice). I haven't gone for the pho yet, but that's next on my list. Maybe I'll start the search for "best pho in Guelph" after I've curried myself out? Until then, Red Papaya can expect my standard order about once a week. Great quality, good price, and a TON of food with each order. I ordered two entrees for myself the last time I had it delivered (in case the basil dish didn't stand up) and ended up living off them for about a week. My most recent experience including wait at the door for over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged to get a simple take out order of a Bubble tea. I did order a stir fry on one of my visits and it honestly wasn't that good either. Poor portion size and it was overcooked and wasn't worth what I paid for it. Recently, i was there with a large group and i haven't been asked for so much as a glass of water. I told the organizer of the group about my experience and was told the owner apologized profusely but couldn't be bothered to apologize to my face despite me being there. If you are a member of the disabled community here in Guelph, i do not recommend this establishment. I am a known disabled advocate here in the city and from experiences from this restaurant, I cannot recommend it as I felt like I wasn't valued as a guest or even recognized as a person.
