He was so kind and professional. He assisted us throughout the entire menu selection process. Our daughter's engagement dinner party was perfect. Food was 10+. Food was lovely. My qualm is the portions are small for the price. Also we bought a lamb, goat and paneer dish and each one had more sauce/gravy than actual meat or paneer. If this can be sorted this would be a regular for us as the taste of the sauce/gravy is tasty. Spices etc beautiful together. Rice, naan and tandoori roti all fine. Great Indian Food! Must try: Patiala Paneer tikka and Chicken Tikka, Daal Makhni Skip: Malai Kofta Portions are big, but so are the prices but they are totally worth it. For Carbs we ordered Tandoori Rotis and Rice, both were nice. Rotis were cooked on slow flame thus were crispy and soft at the same time.Rice was the long grain with nice aroma. The Patiala Tandoori Paneer and chicken tikka were remarkable, both were juicy and tender. with the coat of pepper and Coriander, with the side of green chutney, lime, and sweet n sour salad, all the condiments complimented the main very well. Nice location in a busy complex. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and classy, and so it feels more of A dine in spot rather than takeout. We ordered a paneer dish and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and tandoori roti. Loved the chicken dish but the paneer one was just okay. This place is under new management now. While I was waiting for my food I noticed there are new cooks in the kitchen asked the server & she confirmed new ownership. Brought takeout saag chicken & chicken tikka masala & garlic naan today. The food was horrible as u can see in the photo how the water is separated from the gravies, naan was so dry & hard. It tasted so awful, no flavour at all. I am against food wastage but reluctantly I was forced to throw this food away. Really enjoyed this place. Punjabi food at its best. We ordered the butter chicken, naan, and chicken pakora. Great flavours. Service was great. Food was prepared in a very decent amount of time. Even re-heated the next day, the flavours stuck. Highly recommend, and will definitely be picking up some more food next week. read more

I had their vegetarian options since they do not serve halal (what a shame) I would be there more often if it was. Had their mattar paneer, palak paneer and dal makhni with rice it was one of the best I've had in this part of the world the dal makhni. Decor was great nice and modern. They had some cool items I wouldn't mind trying on their menu in the future. Great for a hidden spot. Definitely worth a try at least for their vegetarian options. read more

The food was good but the service is what needs improvement... We had their mixed vege and aachari paneer. We also had their tandoori platter which was very good.. So I would come here for their tandoori options rather than the food itself... A good thing is they give a complimentary mango cheese cake for the Bday person read more

Overpriced and small portions. Ordered butter chicken and naan for take out. The butter chicken was not best I've had, was expecting something really good since it was $11.99 + tax for a small size ( they only have one size so we ordered two). There was very little actual chicken in the container. The naan was cold, very thin and crispy in the middle. I would not recommended this place. Try India's Taste which not that far and definitely worth the drive. read more

My wife and I were in the mood for some classic North Indian cuisine, headed to Brampton, and found this gem right on the border. Tucked in behind another cookie cutter Walmart consumer 'Village' on Mississauga Rd south of Highway 7. Seems quite new, modern Decor, busy on a Friday with a few families... Service was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Two beers on tap Erdinger and Steigl. We ordered some appetizers, a Fish Taco (Indian version!), and Samosas with Channa. Portions were large, flavours delicious and quality presentation as well. The Fish Taco was 3 mini Tacos, served in little Indian flatbreads (instead of tortilla), with a nice cabbage slaw. If I could be critical of them at all, might suggest adding a bit of green chili or having some sort of a hot sauce available on the side, but they were yummy as is! Mains were a Chicken Vindaloo, Channa Masala with Garlic Naan and Veggie Pulao, everything came out looking and smelling fantastic, flavours spot on, rich, fresh, flavourful and delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and we'll enjoy the leftovers they've packed up for our lunch tomorrow! read more

Ordered a pickup. Butter chicken was real good. Sun dried tomato naan is a must as you don't get it everywhere. Staff is good too; however, beware of there sweets section. Their sweets were pathetic. Ordered take out for dinner for my family tonight and I was not happy with the experience. We have had food from Patiala house before but would never have imagined that one third of my bill would be just rasmali. The order taker did not tell me there was more than one option for rasmali nor the cost. What is upsetting is the presentation of the actual product and what is surprising is I got 2 full butter chicken containers for less than the one container of rasmali. To me the price did not justify what I received. If it is per person it should have been packed individually as opposed to all 6 orders in one container. I only wanted to traditional rasmali and got one with mixed fruits in it without any indication of this by the order taker. What is worse is when I checked the website for their dine out menu I saw they had traditional rasmali for $5.99 where as my bill shows traditional rasmali for $6.99. The butter chicken was good but the goat meat lacked flavour. The naan we received were hard and not enjoyable. I think they need to re-evaluate their cost based on what they are charging as it is not worth it. I also think the order taker should do a better job to mention what is in the rasmali if there are two option nor did she tell me how much the total bill is. End of the day it isn't about the money it's about feeling that I got ripped off for this dessert. I would not dine here or get take out again. Gourmet prices but the food is average at best. Do not eat here you will end up spending more money than it's worth!! read more

Such a great ambiance and we always feel like we are appreciated for our business! I am thee most pickiest of people when it comes to dining out. We had a party for approx. 55 people and therefore booked the whole restaurant for Sunday afternoon. Not a good experience at all and turned out to be more expensive than what we agreed upon. The owner increased the price by approx. $7 per person ($500) by stating that our group ate too much. Unbelievable as this was never mentioned at the time we were eating !! The food was served on our tables as there isnt enough space for buffet. When they served the food it was one plate and then another. This means that you had to keep waiting until your complete meal was served. The subzi came one by one and naan was last. Everything is in very few qty so expect to wait between bites. They expect 6 ppl to share from one plate, so obviously we will require more food and thus more waiting. So please avoid group parties. Better and cheaper to go to Tandoori Flame. read more

We visit Toronto/Brampton often from Cleveland Ohio USA and are often on the lookout for good Indian restaurants. Patiala House was a surprise find. I think desi restaurants in USA should learn a thing or two from this great Patiala House. The food was great, the service was nice. I would highly recommend this place. The tandoori chicken was juicy and fresh, the lassi was so good that I had to order one to go..... The naan's were soft and melted in your mouth. Chole Batture was awesome. Kids loved the peas rice and pakoras. We also tried the Patiala Chicken Tikka. It was also great kind of similar to reshmi kabab that I have had at other places. Overall the the food was Great, the place was neat, the service was awesome!!!! If I could, I would give it a 10 stars out of 5 but 5 stars will suffice for now. I will definitely visit it again on my next trip to Toronto/Brampton. Oops forgot about the indian sweets!!!! Definitely try them too on your next visit. read more
