What a hidden little fusion Thai-Chinese bistro! We were hungry after a long day at the beach; while nursing a nasty cold for a week. I wanted soup for comfort, and came across the fusion menu. I opted for the chicken wonton soup, which was perfect to alleviate some of my cold symptoms. The soup was delicious, especially the fresh & flavorful wonton! My son had the lemon chicken with mixed veggies, and he enjoyed it as well. My hubby had the spicy chicken wings - and he couldn't stop complimenting how amazing they were with fish sauce & other umami flavors. We also had the chicken eggplant, which was outstanding with fresh basil & garlic. I stayed at the Vrbo house, watching my son. While my husband went to pick up our order & he said the female staff was immensely friendly. I love Thai food and while visiting I decided to give this a try since it was on my way out of town. After reading the three Yelp reviews, I decided to try this place and give it some love - one of the three previous reviews left a one star stating the food was oily and the waiter was wearing shirts and a weed shirt (first of all, who cares). My experience; I came in and was seated. The waitress is super friendly. When I was ordering, I asked if the Thai tea is from a can or homemade - she said homemade (WIN)! The Thai tastes delicious - I make some at home and this one tasted sweet, bitter, and a little extra done just how I like it. For food I ordered the chicken basil thai rice - on the menu it states it's not spicy. Food was out in less than 10 minutes. By itself this entree is perfect, but I like spicy. I went up to the self-serve table that contains spicy things, soy, and extra things. Immediately the owner came and asked what I needed - I said I love spicy. He brought me a tray of five ish different spicy things to help make my dish what I wanted. This is amazing and I love the willingness to help. The restaurant is extremely clean as well, and the music has a nice peaceful ambience to it. The food was not oily as a previous review said. First meal in town after hours of driving. I didn't expect much since it's just a small beach town but I was wrong. My first impression was clean and bright dining room, no old building smell, welcoming and their delicious fresh champagne mangos in their showcase. I immediately noticed their seasonal mango menu. Of course I tried their signature mango salad and it did not disappoint. The mango was sweet and ripened and the sauce was sweet yet slightly tangy. I love fresh salad rolls and I have ordered them at many Thai restaurants and this was by far the worst one I've ever had. It was literally just lettuce with 2 carrot shavings and one cucumber stick. I ordered through DoorDash so I'm thinking maybe they just don't care about DoorDash orders as much , or maybe this is just how they do their salad rolls, but either way I was definitely disappointed. read more

Just stating first off that Thai us up and Thai me up in seaside are the same place :) Food here is pretty run the mill Thai food. I think that the best overall is the wings. The service here is amazing, you can tell that it's run with love. We came here years ago when it was in a different space and it's nice to see them upgrade. I recently ordered the Mango Avocado Salad from Tie Me Up (also known as Tie Us Up), and I'm extremely disappointed with both the service and pricing. I requested a simple customization--slightly less of some ingredients and a little more mango and avocado. To my surprise, I was charged nearly $40 for this one salad. This pricing is completely unreasonable for what I received, and no clear explanation was provided for such a high cost, and this was my second over chatge! On top of that, I've become aware of other concerning practices tied to this business that raise serious questions about how they operate. Because of this second experienc...
