Me and my wife were visiting NY on a 4th of July weekend to refresh. My wife is a researcher so she…read moreknows what she does and she picked Robyn. I already was impressed as she was approved by wify! Some stuff went wrong that day as we had to reschedule the first visit (our hotel was 2 blocks otherwise it would've been a very negative point as I did not receive the notification). The appointment was at 5, but the previous massage took about 15 extra minutes so mine started around 5:18, and being me, I was there at 4:45 (on the website it says to come fill some forms, so I went earlier in case that takes unexpected time) so I waited a good amount with no one in the front desk. I was already frustrated by this time. Then around 5:20 we started, Roby first checked out my posture and got some idea of how my body is and gave me some feedback which was nice to know. Then the massage started. I had some lower back pain as well as some stiffness in my neck. I forgot to tell her about the neck but mentioned the lower back. I have no idea what kind of massage I went through, but it was a whole-body surface and some areas in deep tissue. It is an oily massage so expect that in your dressing. Starting from back upper/lower, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg and flip over and almost the same on front. The massage table is fairly comfortable and the ambient was nice. I think the speaker quality could improve, maybe one of those wireless/Bluetooth Costco sound bars help!? The whole session took about 65 minutes (including some rest at the end) and I was done around 6:25. Roby does not rush the massage and does not compromise. At the end of massage, I was feeling comforted and satisfied even though there were some technical difficulties at the beginning (the ones mentioned above). The doorman was nice and polite. The Men's restroom surprisingly was locked and needed the passkey, so you better think twice if you plan to use the restroom there! Thank you Roby, hope your business thrives, A visitor from Chicago!

I mentioned some pain in my lower back and hamstring, and she immediately focused on those areas with just the right amount of pressure. She was also super open to adjusting the pressure if needed, which made the session feel very personalized and comfortable. Van struck a great balance between effective treatment and pleasant small talk just enough to feel at ease without distracting from the massage itself. I walked out feeling significantly better than when I walked in, both physically and mentally. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I decided to try and book a different massage place for my husband's birthday. The scheduling of…read morethe massage was straightforward and quick. However, we ran into some issues the day of. We arrived fairly early as was instructed for the massage in order to provide our massage preferences. The lady who we thought was the receptionist but was actually the female massage therapist did not ask for our preferences. The male massage therapist was late and we were ushered into the room. The therapist asked my husband the pressure and type of massage he wanted as he was laying face down on the table while my therapist asked me while I was sitting and facing her. My husband felt like it was strange and a tad unprofessional given the amount we were paying. The massage room was not insulated well from the construction sounds outside so that was also distracting, but it's New York City, so there's not much you can do about that. The massage overall was a Swedish massage was fine but we were looking forward to the hot stone portion which I had indicated in the scheduling email that we wanted it. It was not made known to us that we had to request it in person. Furthermore, the price of the massage did not include tip which was a bit surprising for us and given the overall experience we felt it was definitely not worth the rate per hour. We were provided a 10% first-time customer discount in the initial email which was not deducted during our payment after the massage and the female massage therapist told me that there was no discount when I mentioned it. There was confusion all around and we had to retroactively receive the discount from the initial scheduling person, so it seems like there's some disconnect between scheduling and staff working in office. Overall, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience as I was looking forward to giving my husband a relaxing massage for his birthday, but he came out feeling disappointed to say the least.

WELL NO MORE- located in an intimate corner suite on E 60th street off Park and Madison are two of the strongest women that put our muscles to work. I use Groupon to try out massage parlors; and I did read some previous reviews about Siya not accepting it but it looks like they do now. Scheduling an appointment was super easy and quick- told them I wanted the earliest appointment for two with a Groupon voucher and she managed to schedule us in at noon the very next day. Upon arrival we were advised to use the bathroom, then ushered into a small room where we told to strip down to our underwear (make sure to prepare cute ones!), tucked ourselves under sheets, and proceeded to be reborn. The Thai combo consists of Swedish massage-like rubbing with coconut oil (you'll smell delicious) and your hardcore Thai massage- feet on your back, pretzel bending madness everyone's always looking for when they enter any Asian massage parlor. They asked for problem areas at the beginning of our session. Not only were our petite masseuses super strong, they were also very knowledgable of our bodies- they were able to pin point our knots and misalignments as they worked on kneading every problem and stress out. This massage is definitely not for those looking for the lemon water and fluffy robes to instagram- this is for those who want to repent for mistreating their bodies with bad posture and unavoidable stress. From head to toe, literally everything was worked on. Absolutely loved it and will be returning!

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The massage consisted almost entirely of my back, with excessive pressure--including her putting what felt like her full body weight onto my spine. I was never turned over to work on the front of my body. She also stopped three or four times during the appointment to attend to other things, and when I looked at the actual time I spent on the massage table, it was only about one hour. I paid $85 when I came out of the restroom. She then asked me for an additional tip. I politely told her I didn't have any more. I chose not to explain the private agreement I had made with the owner. As I was leaving, I heard her say something in Chinese after calling out to the others. I obviously don't know exactly what she said, but given the circumstances, it felt disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Then she said "bye" in a way that made it clear she couldn't wait for me to leave. This was my fourth time patronizing this business, and I will not be returning. There are plenty of excellent massage businesses in the area. For me, this experience was not worth the price, the atmosphere, the interruptions, or the disrespect. I would not recommend it.
