Me and my wife were visiting NY on a 4th of July weekend to refresh. My wife is a researcher so she…read moreknows what she does and she picked Robyn. I already was impressed as she was approved by wify! Some stuff went wrong that day as we had to reschedule the first visit (our hotel was 2 blocks otherwise it would've been a very negative point as I did not receive the notification). The appointment was at 5, but the previous massage took about 15 extra minutes so mine started around 5:18, and being me, I was there at 4:45 (on the website it says to come fill some forms, so I went earlier in case that takes unexpected time) so I waited a good amount with no one in the front desk. I was already frustrated by this time. Then around 5:20 we started, Roby first checked out my posture and got some idea of how my body is and gave me some feedback which was nice to know. Then the massage started. I had some lower back pain as well as some stiffness in my neck. I forgot to tell her about the neck but mentioned the lower back. I have no idea what kind of massage I went through, but it was a whole-body surface and some areas in deep tissue. It is an oily massage so expect that in your dressing. Starting from back upper/lower, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg and flip over and almost the same on front. The massage table is fairly comfortable and the ambient was nice. I think the speaker quality could improve, maybe one of those wireless/Bluetooth Costco sound bars help!? The whole session took about 65 minutes (including some rest at the end) and I was done around 6:25. Roby does not rush the massage and does not compromise. At the end of massage, I was feeling comforted and satisfied even though there were some technical difficulties at the beginning (the ones mentioned above). The doorman was nice and polite. The Men's restroom surprisingly was locked and needed the passkey, so you better think twice if you plan to use the restroom there! Thank you Roby, hope your business thrives, A visitor from Chicago!

Wow!! Today I had my first massage with Sophia and it was thee absolute best I've ever had! EVER!!…read moreShe really knows what she's doing and knows the body. I didn't have to tell her how to do her job. She moved through my body and hit every point that I needed work on and hit points I didn't know needed the attention. I highly recommend going to her if you're looking for someone who feels what your body needs, in tune and knows what to do when it comes to your needs and the body in general. She also gave feedback and advice on what I should work on until our next session. Her compassion and passion is unmatched and I can feel it! Being were in a pandemic I have been very cautious of how I move and places I go. Sophia made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in. She also reassured me and gave protocol before we got started. I felt very safe from beginning to end! I left there after my massage on a high! Felt like I was floating. I'm hooked!!!!! Thank you Sophia!

SHE IS AMAZING!! I'm a professional dancer and have been to many massage therapists in my life, so…read morewhen I say she's a standout masseuse I truly mean it! From the moment I walked into the room she made the experience very personable. Before I got on the table she took the time to ask me very thoughtful questions about where I'm feeling tension, what physical activities I participate in, and what at home treatments I've been doing. She also offered aromatherapy of my choice in the headrest, which is such a nice bonus! She spent most of the 75 minute massage on my neck and shoulders because that was my problematic area. What I loved most about her technique is that you can tell she's really untangling the fascia and muscles without excessive pressure. She approaches the sore spots with an efficient, slow motion kind of stretching sensation, really working with your body and the tightness as opposed to just jamming pressure. I felt so much relief during the session, and felt so relaxed for the remaining days after. Another positive note to mention is the next day I did not feel any soreness in my upper back. Again, considering the fact that she spent 75 minutes in one concentrated area and I felt nothing but openness afterwards speaks volumes of her careful attention to her clients. I highly highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a talented massage therapist in the heights!

That being said, see her more than once, and you'll experience that Rachel's techniques spans a wide range. Depending on how you're feeling, where you're aching and what she feels your body is going to respond to at that particular moment, she's got training and learning and pulls from all different modalities: swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, the list goes on. Sometimes when she's working on me, I actually start to wonder if she can read my mind. She is also warm and thoughtful, and always very pleasant to see. I should also mention that my boyfriend, the massage addict, lists her as the top massage therapist he's ever had (out of close to 100 that he's seen in his life). oh yeah, and I like her massage music choices too (I'm a snotty musician).
